Navy Yard extends along the Anacostia River, from roughly Capitol Street to Pennsylvania Avenue. It includes Nationals Park, home to the MLB's Washington Nationals, and the US Navy Museum. The neighborhood contains the Washington Navy Yard, a National Historic Landmark. Established in 1799, it is one of the country's oldest operating naval facilities. Navy Yard is a popular, exciting neighborhood with fantastic brownstones and incredible river views.
Due to its industrial past, Navy Yard contains a variety of renovated factories converted into lofts and office space. The neighborhood also offers a terrific blend of shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Staff are very friendly and maintenance is super helpful and fast. Love how dog friendly they are. The biggest problem is the neighbors are very loud and obnoxious in the middle of the night.

Arris is such an easy choice. It’s a high quality building, smart design, and in the quieter, less chaotic part of Navy Yard. I’ve toured nearly every building in Navy Yard and lived in three, and Arris just does it best. Great front desk and maintenance staff, great management, and quiet and respectful neighbors.

The maintenance team at the Arris is the best maintenance team I’ve ever had at any place in DC. Our water heater broke Thursday afternoon, and within 24 hours they had ordered a brand new heater and replaced it. Couldn’t recommend their maintenance team more.

Hello, this is Theresa, and I have lived at the Arris building since 2019, and it is the best place to live. The building is always clean and your packages and mail are safe and you don't have to worry about people stealing your packages or mail. The security is great, you have the front desk to greet your guest and visitors, and maintenance is available 24/7, the main office is right here in the building if you need anything from management. The neighborhood is wonderful, the store is close and restaurants are nice around here and the community always has some kind of activities for the community. This is the most peaceful place I have ever lived.

Arris is a beautiful building with great amenities. The building staff is extremely helpful and a pleasure to be around. The only downside is that Arris is not zoned for RPP with the city and parking is expensive (especially if you have 2 cars), so pricing ends up being the same as other buildings in the area.

My husband and I have lived here for over two years. We arrived in the height of the pandemic when apartment living was in chaos, and the team here were incredibly accommodating, from conducting full-service tours over Zoom, to waiving the amenity fee at a time when gyms and pools were closed everywhere. Since then, life changes have led to us living in three separate floor plans in 2.5 years, and each unit—both 1- and 2-BR—are beautiful. But the quality of the Arris that made us stay here instead of moving to other buildings in the area is the outstanding staff. Miss Gwen and Maria are so sweet as they wish us a good day in the morning and welcome us home from work each evening. Aaron, Willie and the rest of the maintenance team are professional, responsive, and kind. We love it here and will sincerely miss it when we eventually leave the DC metro area.

We’ve lived in the Arris for almost two years. We absolutely love it! The building is always clean and the staff that maintain it are friendly and do an amazing job! The maintenance crew is friendly, knowledgeable and responsive in a timely manner. And the concierge staff is the best, specifically Ms. Gwen and Ms. Maria!

I have enjoyed my time at Arris. The amenities and wonderful and the staff are great. The only negative of living here is that the gym is always full of people who don't pay rent here (personal trainers bringing in clients or vice versa) and as a rent payer I can't use equipment I want to.

Arris staff are absolutely amazing. Extremely kind, caring, genuine and professional. They make you feel like family here, we are happy that we choose this community to be a part of. We are definitely going to renew. Donyei is amazing always smiling and greeting us, the concierge staff Maria, Gwen and others are always super helpful. The maintenance staff are extremely hands on and never make you wait. One of my favorite things also about this community is the cleanliness, from the Lobby, elevator, gym, court yard and lounge, everywhere you look it’s spotless and clean. Keep up the great work guys! You Rock!!!

Arris is a great community to live, very very clean, professional staff and on point whenever you need assistance. Everything is near by, shopping restaurants, ballpark, walk on the river. The best thing about this community is the staff, extremely kind, caring and professional at what the do. They make you feel like family.

After 18 months of very regular complaints about CONSTANT smoking throughout the community, management continues to do nothing to rectify. My apartment unit smells like smoke at least every other day due to my neighbors, as does the entire fourth floor corridor and elevator lobby. The community has great apartment layouts and a great location, but the community is showing its age. Many pieces of furniture and finishes in the amenity areas are falling apart, and the amenities in general cannot compete with the newer buildings in the area.

The maintenance team (Willie and Aaron) are fantastic and always go above and beyond for the residents. They are prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They can fix anything under the sun and it is a big reason that I love living at Arris!

Arris is a nice building older than others around the neighborhood but it is well maintained. It is located I. A very nice location at the Yards convenient to restaurants and bars. The apartment has a great view of Anacostia River and the trail alongside the river. It has a nice rooftop pool and business center area. Arris have a 24hrs concierge who are so amazing and very helpful.

We have a 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour concierge (Amazon Hub Package System), clubroom with game room and demo kitchen, two courtyards, and a rooftop area with grills, fireplaces, and pool.
