My new home is lovely. Maintenance is on top of making the homes look better. I would prefer if accuracy was more part of the process. Home looks great but up close i see a few flaws. For instance, one of the outlets in my new home is inoperable because the outlet was covered completely with paint. The laundry facility that was brand new when I moved in, in October, is now not functioning properly. Many machines are now inoperable

Staff is pretty responsive but a little disorganized. Maintenance crew is a little sloppy. New upgrades being made are nice, but others need to be done. Like everywhere in California, rent is definitely overpriced.

Arrive Laurie Lane is great! Maintenance is overall pretty responsive, and the leasing office is very friendly! I highly recommend the refurbished units, they're a little light on kitchen space/storage but make up for it in other ways.

Easy to deal with prior to move in. Staff in leasing office was easy to deal with. Very accommodating. Apartment was ready for me to move into. Any maintenance items were followed up on.

So far, so good! Office staff is very helpful. It’s very quiet, too. One downfall, I have noticed some of the dog owners do not pick up after their 4 legged babies. I’m hoping that is a few isolated incidents. Oops, almost forgot, our shower does not have a shower head. No problem, we will purchase a hand held one. We’ve met a few of our neighbors, they seem very nice.
Always responsive and doing an amazing job of improving our area! I never worry about safety or security and the improvements are fantastic!!

This complex is nestled in Downtown Thousand Oaks! A huge plus is being near the mall, shopping plazas, and restaurants nearby. The apartment units are spacious and the walls are thick enough so that you do not hear neighbors. The community is respectful and maintenance is always quick to handle requests. Staff are friendly and welcoming! I've been a resident for almost 4 years and it has been pleasant. Management is always on top of residents not following policies and maintain the complex up to standards.

Great apartment, large living room, and the staff was always nice and prompt in maintainence. would live there again i lived in area again.
My girlfriend and I were at our wits end; we had been using apartments.com for nearly 2 months and everything we had found was way out of our price range. On a longshot we decided to take a look at the place that we fell in love with based solely on the excellent pictures and glowing reviews of the complex. Initially we had looked at a two bedroom apartment because we were going to use the second one as an office, but thankfully due to this complex having been built in a different time, there was actually a floor plan that used a room from a bygone era, a den. This feature brought the apartment price well within reason and met all of our goals for what we needed, and the square footage was almost double of anything of newer complexes we had seen. I don't know what it is about builders in the last 20 years, but they build apartments smaller and more confining then the ones that built this complex almost 50 years ago. What initially turned us off about this complex, which probably rings true for a lot of people, is that age; the fact that this complex is so old. What we found goes along with that old saying, "they don't build them like they used to". The walls are very thick, so you never hear your neighbors. The grounds are laid out like you're in a park or a forest, and the amenities are very inclusive: several laundry rooms, two very clean and very heated pools, and a well-stocked gym and game room. The apartment itself has brand-new appliances, laminate floors, and endless hot water at an almost ridiculous pressure. The family room is bowling alley size, the bedroom fits a king size bed with plenty of room for dressers and a TV stand, and the closets seem like a never ending story. Would I recommend this complex to you? Without a doubt I would welcome you as a neighbor; we could grab a drink, lay out in one of the cabanas by the pool, play some billiards, and enjoy the company of the other friendly people in this complex.
