This community is hands down the BEST community I've ever lived at. The amenities are always clean and the coffee is always fresh. If I have any maintenance concerns, it is addressed almost immediately. The Property Manager and Assistant Manager are always happy to help with any questions that I might have. I am the longest term Artisan resident for numerous reasons. The staff, especially Kendall, make the place first class and a family atmosphere. Kendall goes over and beyond to ensure the community is at its best at all times. She is glad to help with any issues that arise and does it with a smile on her face. She continues a long tradition at The Artisan of an elite team that truly cares about the residents. In addition, the location is impeccable with most everything in walking distance or a short drive away. Plus, amenities, such as the Frothy Monkey coffee machine, take apartment living next level. I have made this place my home for the last nine years and I look forward to more. The Artisan definitely feels like home to me.

I've been living here for 1.5 yrs and it's by far the best apartment I've lived in, in many years. The staff is great, they are so nice and accommodating. My mother lives in the building too, they are great with her! If something goes wrong the staff is on it immediately! It's clean, the location the chef's kiss. Caylee and Kendall are a great team and I appreciate all that they do and how helpful they are. There an eclectic group of people living here from 20 to 85 and everyone is super friendly. I highly recommend the Artisan.

Be careful of prices. Was given a price on a Monday and y Saturday when my daughter toured it was up $1000
Although I originally planned to staying in my unit for all three years of my graduate program, problems with my utilities, and management's response, have made that an untenable plan. I am routinely billed hundreds of dollars above my utility use due to problems with my water meter and heating unit. Despite repeated communications with management, neither problem has been appropriately resolved. the cost of living is extremely high relative to the headache of dealing with these problems. The location is convenient, I like my apartment, and my friends live in the building. All of those benefits withstanding, the unit's dysfunction has made my experience very negative.
I am blessed to call the Artisan On 18th home for the last 4 years! It all starts with the amazing staff. They go over and beyond to make every resident feel at home, and they deal with any and all issues immediately. The location is impeccable, and it is a first class, modern environment. All areas are kept clean, and taken care of at the highest level. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, modern apartment in this area.
Stayed here for two years. It got the job done, but I was more than ready to go by the end. The pros are that it's conveniently located, and maintenance is friendly and quick, and they'll give you a cupcake for your birthday month. The cons are that the neighborhood is very noisy, there are close to no amenities, and literally no one cleans up after their dogs. The office staff is okay. The office manager can come across passive aggressive and condescending, but the assistant office manager is nice enough and helpful. For the price, there are many other apartments in the area that have larger apartments, pools, and gyms larger than the size of your closet.
DO NOT LIVE HERE! The management lied to us and told us there was no construction that was going to be built and 2 months after our lease started, they were building a high rise RIGHT NEXT to the building. Every morning I get waken up at 6am by metal clanging and drilling. Not only that but sometimes the construction starts at 1am in the morning...it's absolutely insane! It's so loud that a couple of times I've had to sleep in my closet. Yes I pay more than $1000/month for rent and sleep in my closet. My friend lives on the other side of the apartment but she never hears the construction. I know of several people who have complained to the management about it and they have done nothing. It's completely unfair that I pay the same rent as people who don't hear the construction at all. Maybe after the construction is done living here will be more reasonable. But the management also lied and said there wasn't going to be any construction so, I wouldn't trust them at all.
The neighborhood is great for anyone looking to live close to nightlife. The building is new and well maintained but there were corners cut. Overall its a good place to be but the potential was so much more.
