Property Ratings at ArtWalk at CityCenter
I just moved out of ArtWalk after a 15-month lease and overall I can't recommend this complex. The fire alarm complaints are valid, this happened a few times in the middle of the night. It felt like the police were constantly being called for various reasons. The garage door to the paid parking garage did not work properly and was left open for months and months while I lived there. They charge monthly for pest control but there are rats and mice roaming the outside of the buildings constantly, not to mention the spiders that were always in my 1st floor unit. The only positive about this place is the location. But the greatest disappointment was the move-out process. The lease states to give 60 days notice prior to moving out, which might be standard but anyone can agree it's difficult to figure out a living situation 2 months before a lease ends. I gave the leasing office 50 days notice and asked if they could be understanding on this. The answer is no, they will not treat you as a human being, tenants are simply contracts to them. They were not understanding and said I had to give 60 days notice, no matter the circumstances. Because of this 10 day gap, I had to pay an increased rate of $700+ from my rent usual amount, in addition to a $150 month-to-month fee. For those 10 days, I had to pay over $1,200 when I wasn't even living in the apartment. Do yourself a favor and live in a place where the ownership and management are reasonable and treat you like a person, not income.

Parking is cheap and the amenities are good, overall a good price compared to other things in the area. I will say whenever we have had a maintenance issue it has been handled in a timely manner. However, the complex is extremely noisy. The walls and floors are paper thin, you can hear everything from your neighbors and there are a ton of barking dogs. The homeless population is out of control. There were several times this winter that they broke in and were sleeping in the hallway right next to our door or in the stairwell.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND . Homeless used to sleep on the side of my apartment and even kicked the door of my unit. There was always trash on the hallways. My car got towed once, even when the sticker was on the car. Washer and dryer took almost a month to get fixed. This is my experience living in this apartment complex for a year. --A homeless used to sleep right on the side of my unit. He was always smoking and leaving trash. I called the police numerous times since I used to come home late at night alone and I didn't know if he was drugged and could react. The issue was NEVER solved even when they switch management and they promise to solve it. I have pictures and police reports of it. --There was always trash on the hallways. --When I moved in my car was towed, promised they were gonna refund the towing fee, which they never did. --My washer and dryer broke and they took almost a month to fix the problem (This was with the new management) -- I moved in during the pandemic and I was not allowed to see the place in person. When it was given to me it was dirty, when I left they charge me $90.00 for cleaning when I paid a professional to come and clean the place and was given to me in dirty conditions. --Also look for extra monthly fees in your bill like a service fee (which I don't know what it is) and common area electric.
I’ve lived here for 6 months and the fire alarm had gone off more than 5+ times. 3 of those times being on the middle of the night. The building does nothing about this! I read reviews about the fire alarm issue before I moved on, and shame on me for not taking it seriously. The fire alarm goes off so frequently that I’d there was a real fire with real danger, no one would leave their apartments or take it seriously. This is a huge problem! In addition, the hallways are riddled with trash/trash cans. Their “valet trash service” seems to pick and choose when they come and who’s trash they pick up. They’ll charge you a fee for valet trash, and a second fee for “community it’s trash”. From the photos they show, this would seem like a good place to live. But the renovations are done poorly and sloppily. The appliances seem “new” but are very cheap. My kitchen cabinets don’t close the way they should, nor do the drawers. AND they messed up my apartment upon move in. I was told I would have a full size balcony with my apartment. Upon move in, I had a tiny balconett, barely big e out to stand on. After acknowledging their mistake, they offer me a SMALLER apartment , not renovated but had a full size balcony, and it was MORE EXPENSIVE. Don’t waste your time with this place.

been living here for 7 months, and have had roaches the entire time. I'm in my 40's and never had roaches in the past. I've complained and they send the exterminator every week, and I still have them. I do not believe for a second that I am the only one complaining, but the management won't say.(i have asked, and I get the runaround for a straight answer.

What you get for the price here is really great. So many amenities both within the apartment and around it. Johana in the front office is very nice and professional. Gated parking is a big plus.
I've lived here for nine years. They've been through three separate property management companies since. In that time, they've lost my pet immunization paperwork, they've "forgotten" that my garage was linked to my apartment (so they left it open, with thousands of dollars of motorcycles inside). I wake up to people sleeping in the hallways. The "secured" doors don't work. Stay away. I'm only here because I can't afford to move.
What is good about this apartments is the nice location that is within walking distance of restaurents, shop, and Walmart! Also, you are 1-2minutes walking distance from the RTD light rail. The apartments are good and the service is great, what more can you ask for!
Upon my first visit to Artwalk at CityCenter, there were many features that I loved about the property. Specifically, the location to the rail station, the surround economic development area, and the amenities. Even though I was only shown a one-bedroom unit, I made an appointment to come back with my roommate on Saturday at 9:30 AM to show him the property and for us to sign a lease. We were ten minutes late, but when we arrived, the office was closed. While waiting for the office to open, I walked around the property. Many of the balconies were being used as storage. In fact, one balcony was full of cardboard boxes. When the office opened at 10:00 AM, there was one leasing agent working with a couple. We were waiting, and the leasing agent with whom we were to meet was showing another couple around, so we were asked to wait. We did wait for about ten minutes, but we had another appointment, so we left. The agent sent me an email three hours later to apologize and invite me back, but this lack of service was a good indicator to me about how I would be treated as a resident. We did sign a lease that day, but at another property.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Our team here at Artwalk CityCenter is always looking for ways to make residents as well as future or prospective residents feel at home, and we are sorry to hear that your experience was not positive. Where we strive to meet each resident and p rospect immediately upon their arrival, at times it is not possible if we are tending to someone else, however we do acknowledge each person that walks in and ask them to either wait for us or to set an appointment. I am sorry to hear that in 10 minutes while we waited for your appointment someone else arrived and was being helped. We would have loved an opportunity to assist you just as we did the first time you arrived. Thank you for sharing your point of view on the patios and we can assure you that we are working with all of our resident to ensure that they are abiding by the community policies and rules by keeping their patios clean and tidy. We wish you all the best in your new apartment home and hope that once your lease is up you give us a chance to prove to you that we strive for exemplary customer service for all we meet.
The apartment are just okay, old appliance, saw lots of water damage and broken tiles. Hallways were dirty. For the same amount of money you can get something much much better. The only good thing about them are they are close to the light rail and walking distance to other shops.
I went by to view a unit that I had made an appointment for and the young lady in the office who I was meeting told me she was too swamped with paper work to show the unit. She told me another associate would show it to me when she finished meeting with a tenant. After about 15 minutes of waiting while the lady who was too "swamped" was chatting to her coworker when she saw me about to walk out. She decided she had time to show the unit. We took a look at it and I picked up an application. When I had it filled out she said actually that unit is already taken I have another one for 100$ more. I won't be renting here.

These apartments have the best amenities and the location is prime. For someone who hates traffic or driving at all, these apartments provide all you need and more.
These apartments are located in the center of everything you could need. With everything within walking distance, driving becomes a thing of the past.
Alexan, is a great but not fantastic place. Approximately 10 miles outside of the City of Denver. The complex building is located right next a light rail stop making commute easy and accessible for those that don't own a car. Also neighboring with a Walmart, Ross, and among other shops and restaurants. However, they present some con's as well. Unfortunately, the neighborhood is very dark at night and harbors many junkies, making the walk around the community at night feel very unsafe. The leasing department promotes a gated community, but unfortunately that is not the case. As the apartment building is very easy to access from the outside and I have even witnessed the junkies from off the street wandering the halls inside the apartment building. Another concern living here, are the disgusting smells of urine and other feces along the hallways( very disturbing for a place priced at 1300$ p/m).
Have lived here for two years and love not only the complex but the location. I am right next to shopping for food, saloons, shops and the amazing downtown Englewood even including gyms and restaurants. Not to forget the RTD with in a block distance which provides access to the amazing downtown and surrounding areas of the denver area. Will live here for many years very happy..
Our apartment was newly remodeled when we moved in, so it is really nice inside. The outside could use a facelift. Great location though and nice amenities.
