Property Ratings at Arvada Station Apartments
I almost never leave reviews, good or bad, but this felt very important. I will preface this review with saying that the maintenance team was AMAZING. The grounds and apartments themselves are also very well maintained! These apartments have potential, but truly that amounts to little compared to the safety of yourself and your belongings, which is a lot less certain in this complex unfortunately. I disregarded many of the reviews about safety since I would consider myself to be pretty savvy when it comes to personal safety/awareness. We even rented an apartment with an attached garage just in case! I was absolutely incorrect to downplay other reviews about safety/security. My car (Hyundai Tucson) was broken into at 4 months into my lease and then actually stolen 6 days before almost making it out of this complex. I do not leave any belongings in my car and always lock my vehicle. I think action, more than the few hours of security patrol currently happening, and transparency from management would go extremely far for residents and potential renters.
Worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The grounds and apartment itself were mostly fine. Although being right by the light rail did unfortunately mean there were a lot of homeless around and I was frequently bothered and felt unsafe on the complex grounds when I would go walk my dog. Men would yell at me from the bushes they lived in near the light rail. Not a friendly place for women to feel safe especially at night. It was the office staff at this complex that made my experience living there truly terrible. I lived there during the hight of the pandemic when just about everyone was under quarantine. We had issues with our downstairs neighbors that complained I was being too loud when I was only walking around the apartment. They would even hit their ceiling when I was just walking through the kitchen. The office staff didn’t mediate the issues at all. After just a single notice posted on my door the threatened to evict us. We simply could not be quieter. At a time when everyone was stuck at home the staff of this apartment complex made me feel unwelcome and unprotected in my own home. We moved out as soon as our lease was up AND paid the ridiculously high move out costs in full. Now a year later a debt collector is calling me demanding I pay the unpaid move out costs from when we left Arvada Station Apartments. I have bank records that prove I paid them via cashiers check and when I called the bank to verify I was told the check was never cashed. I was told by the debt collector that Arvada Station had been sending mail regarding the missing payment to the apartment on their grounds they knew I no longer lived in. No phone call or email which would have alerted me to a problem right away and it could have been resolved before negatively affecting my credit. BTW my address had been officially updated as soon as I moved and I’ve had no issues receiving mail from anyone else. Leah, the office manager at Arvada Station, never bothered to call me back after I called her office and left her a message. I just wanted to talk to her and verify the information the debt collector was telling me before I paid them and to confront her about the check I brought that was never cashed. She sent me an email instead that addressed nothing and told me to call the collector and pay the debt. Atrocious customer service, they have no compassion and zero ability to properly resolve issues. Do not throw away your money here it’s a terribly place to live.
Excellent staff, excellent management, and a pretty complex with nice apartment interior. Unfortunately the RTD noise is intolerable as the trains use horns that are impossible to drown out at the adjacent intersection (which often go all night), but this is not the fault of the property.
I just moved in the Arvada stations Apts, I love how there's an open gym and a couple dog parks and dog stations round me. I love how the staff there is so friendly and they are big help with any questions that I have they alway get back in a timely manner and there communicate is great! I love how the inside of the units look in and out outside are also clean and everyone in the community is very friendly. Im very happy my husband and I choose this to our new home.
Great apartments with walking access to shopping, restaurants, banking and the train station. Very clean and well-kept with knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Stay away, lots of unresolved issue and lack of rule enforcement and increasingly poor safety due to the increasing amounts of homeless people going through trash, sleeping on patios/porches, etc.
I really like Arvada Station Apartments, it’s always clean around the apartments. The complex gives a nice neighborhood vibe to live in. The maintenance guys are nice and pretty fast, even on snow days. Overall, I’m glad I chose this complex over another.
Amazing, clean places. Strong community and excellent management
So far it's been a good place to live the past 4 years. Had no major issues to really complain about. It's very close the Train that allows me to not really need a personal vehicle. There are restaurants and a Target very close by for basic necessities. The place seems pretty safe with a consistent patrol of the Arvada police. The lighting issues was resolved so now it's well lit.
The recent painting and parking lot improvements added a lot to the overall look at Arvada Station Apartments. Staff is very professional and diligent in their efforts.
My experience has been excellent with the office and maintenance staff very responsive and professional
A well run, friendly community. Glad to call it home.
I have already spread the good word about this place to many people, friends and family.
Arvada Station is a wonderful community! Management is friendly and helpful. Maintenance is on-time and very helpful! Great place to live!
After a hard and stressful day at work its always a pleasure to come home to Arvada Station. The serenity and quiet of the complex block out the busy outside and the facilities offer a great way to relax during the week and on days off. Finally feeling at home in Colorado.
I love living here. You can walk to Target and many restaurants close by. The apartments have plenty of space with all the modern updates. Definitely worth the commute into Denver.
Ive had a great experience with my moving and working with the team at Arvada Station Apartments! They take care of my maintenance requests on time and theyre very nice people in the office.
Do you love noise? Do you like being woken up at all hours of the night by a garage door directly below your bed? Do you like listening to your upstairs neighbors stomp around for hours at a time all day and night? Then Arvada Station Apartments is the place for you! Non-stop noise you won't ever get a good nights sleep! If you're a vampire or just a general fan of uncontrollable noise then this is the place for you. Also, if you love paying a ridiculous amount of money to experience this noise then look no further than Arvada Station Apartments!
Arvada Station is a great place to live. They have been always pro-active during Covid-19, and their communications are always timely and informative. It is a great example of a community from the people living here to all the people working to make it a great place.
Would you like to be appropriated, love your home and feel a sense of community!?!?! If so,, then, save yourself the headache, money, and frustration, rent from anywhere other than Arvada Station.
Coming from owning a home, living at Arvada Station has been a very positive experience. People are always willing to help which promotes a strong sense of community. I do like the idea of private parking and the amenities provided are very inclusive.
I have really enjoyed living at Arvada station. I really love my open floor plan and the amount of square footage! The cabinets, countertops, backsplash and plank flooring are beautiful! Living close to I-70 and the RTD light rail are extremely convenient. The front office staff and the maintenance staff are all friendly, helpful and courteous. I also enjoy having a quaint neighborhood/community to walk my dog around.
Arvada Station Apartments provide beautiful living options in a great location near shopping and the train system for easy travel throughout the city.
Feels like a neighborhood. Grounds are well kept. Maintenance is responsive.
The Arvada Station Apartments have been a wonderful complex, with quality designs and management team, in an perfect location for life in and out of the city.
The complex is beautiful and with great location. But the amenities cannot be enjoyed by residents. The staff is rude and disrespectful. The rules for the amenities dont make sense and dont allow residents to have a good time during the time using it. I am really disappointed about the community and have signed my lease on here.
really like the community, the staff are nice and all the amenities are a huge plus. Most everyone are very quiet and respectful
Good price given the market in the greater Denver area. The units are nice with good finishes and layouts. Be warned that they have no cameras on the property except the main office/clubhouse area. We have been here a month and we and two other people have had their bikes stolen from the property and they can't do anything and seem very unconcerned that the property isn't secured or monitored.
The walls and floors are paper thin. I've never lived in an apartment where you could hear the conversation of your neighbor at a regular octave. My new upstairs neighbor sounds like he's hosting Jumanji on a nightly basis and it's absolutely awful. Oh and the recent graffiti on my building, that's been lovely to look at for the last month.
Everyone is always kind and helpful
ive lived here for 3 months and its been awesome. Its close by all stores by the highway and its a big space and also clean and friendly.
I love my apartment. But its too expensive. Amenities are unavailable and management has taken no initiative to reduce rent in even any small way given the amenities arent available...and yet they are part of my rent payment.
The office staff is rude, late, and unprofessional.
Excellent apartments, quiet, clean
Feels like home!
Overall, very happy with the location and apartment; accessible to i70 and lots of stores. Just wish the pool room/recreational, pool were available after office hours.
Average
Would highly recommend renting somewhere else. The apartment complex is poorly run and is going downhill fast.
Over all Arvada Station is a decent place to live. Parking is a pain if you don't have a reserved spot either a carport or garage and unfortunately there is a waiting list for both of these options. The other thing I recently noticed is that they don't plow any of streets or even try to make any sort path in the parking lot or on the sidewalks and as someone who has a prosthetic leg, this is really difficult to even get to my car without slipping.
It is an amazing place to stay, for the price its one hundred percent worth it. It is easy to get started there and the staff helped with everything and salved any problems or questions I had
There were a lot of decisions to be made when i choose where to live . Arvada Station had most everything that i needed . Zayra and the staff really helped with my selection and the paperwork very easy ! Thank you !
The Arvada Station Apartments are an excellent choice to live in. They have so many beautiful floor plans to choose from. They are just a short drive/walk to most essential shopping and great parks, connected to the RTD Rail taking you wherever you need to go in the city, and only 20 minutes from being in the mountains. We love this place!
I broke my lease here because this is hands down the most poorly managed complex I have ever dealt with in over 30 years of renting. Parking is RIDICULOUS! Pay $7 a month just to park here? I can count on one hand how many times I made it home in time to actually find a parking place. Manager hides in her office and never speaks to anyone. She ignores calls, emails and if she does decide to speak to you, she is SO rude and doesn’t listen to a concern you have. They say they are pet friendly- farthest thing from the truth. They treated me and my animals like dirt. It’s a great excuse for them to charge you LOTS of money when you move out- especially replacing the carpet. They nickel and dime you to death. There is a charge to breathe - my rent with utilities every month went up every month and I was barely home. I was showering at the gym so my water usage was low yet water bill went up and up and up. Please, please save your money and live somewhere where you will feel appreciated for the money that you’re shelling out!! Especially in Denver! This place SUCKS!! Worth every penny to break lease.
DO NOT LIVE HERE******DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!! If I could negative stars, I would. The management, especially the manager is HORRIBLE. Wont give you the time of day- hides in her office avoiding people so she doesnt have to talk to people. Anywhere that you have you have to pay to park at your own residence and its not for covered parking or a garage and NEVER find a place a park and they tell you to park at Jack in the Box- RUN!!!!!
Arvada Station is an awesome place to live. The complex has a lot of green areas and walkways. The amenities are fantastic and the location is ideal to get to the mountains or Denver quickly. Highly recommend!
Many of our maintenance requests have been completely ignored, then eventually marked as 'fixed.'
Worst maintenance I have ever experienced. We were warned about this by other residents before we moved in, they were right. Avoid this place if you want the appliances, electrical wiring, plumbing, etc. that you pay for monthly to function properly, or to be repaired if they don't.
The ease of the G line that just opened has made my life so much smoother. I love our community center and how beautiful our community is. My apartment is beautiful and we love living here, I do think the apartments are pricey and I worry that my rent will skyrocket now that the light rail has opened up, but I'll worry about that at a later date. My ONLY major complaint is that finding a parking space after work and after evenings out has become a thing of stress.
I would not recommend this complex. They do not care about my safety in order to save budget and put money in their own pockets.
Very new and nice! People are rude and parking is absurd
