Management have been absolutely the worst, specifically assistant property manager and leasing agents - Bad attitudes for absolutely no reason. Security/Safety is not a priority! If you move here you will not be a priority. And if you have a fear of dogs definitely do not move here, I was attacked by a pitbull. Maintenance is below mid, very inexperienced, so far I have put in over 25 request for issues in my unit. Rodents (Mice) heavily populated on the property. Garbage constantly overflowing, the cleaners cannot keep up with the trash capacity. Disgusting carpets in the hallways from pet owners allowing their dogs to release themselves. Lights around the property do not work at night, extremely dark in certain areas which causes a huge safety concern. Light fixtures inside hallways broke for over 6 months.

This apartment took my hold deposit during the time of application. Once the application was denied and I was never notified. They kept that hold deposit for months. I still have not received my money. This is ridiculous. This management is horrible and not responsive.

Ascend Apollo is generally a fair apartment complex. The location is extremely convenient, the gym is nice and the floor plans/interior of the apartments are ok for the price. However, the hallways and carpets are very dirty, smells sometimes and there is a major false sense of security. Some doors aren't properly locked leaving the apartments susceptible to intruders. Additionally the walls are extremely thin, more than I've ever experienced. This has made my time here at Ascend Apollo a nightmare. I cannot wait for my lease to be over due to the person living above me stomping all day and all night. Please beware, you can hear everything and I do mean everything; footsteps(and not faint footsteps, hard loud stomping), the washing machine/dryer, garbage disposal, toilet flushing etc. If you work from home or work nights this can be a major issue and will cost you lost sleep and issues with your neighbors as management can only do so much. There seems to a wide variety of people living here(younger people who like to party and professionals who actually have to work everyday and need a quiet place to live.)

I moved in the Ascend Apollo a few months ago. So far so good EXCEPT there is a small child that lives above me and since there isn't any carpet (except in the bedrooms) she runs back and forth all day and late nights. It's very annoying. Also, the floors are super thin. I can hear my neighbors above and beneath me when they play their music especially early mornings, sometimes at 6am. Outside of the thin floors, I am happy with living here. I haven't had any problems in the rental office. Kim & Brittney are very attentive to the tenants as far as I can see. The others barely want to speak or assist. One thing I don't understand is, Why do we need parking passes for a gated garage? Why do visitors have to park on the 5th floor? They should have visitor passes for tenants guest.
When I first visited the apollo May 2018, I was in love. I applied the same day, paid my deposit and was approved within 3-4 days. However since they've received my deposit and application fee, everything has seemed so jaded since! My original apartment I've applied for was given away, there's been no follow through and I have to call 3-4 times to get an answer or call back. It has been almost a month later (currently June) and no one has consistently provided me with information related to my official documents and move-information! My current lease expires in 3-4 weeks, and I still do not have official paperwork related to my approval and confirmed apartment information! Apollo's leasing agents make promises to call back within designated time frames, property manager's promise to rectify the situation but it all seems to be a facade to get your money from the begining and sale you lies later! This is totally ridiculous! The customer service is unacceptable, I've spoken with two leasing consultants and the property manager who have all made pomises that appear to fall through or have no resolution. I am no longer interested in being a resident at the property due to this experience. I am concerned that becoming a resident will result in future disappointments, false promises and taking your money without following through on their end of the bargain. I plan to get my deposit back ASAP, since it's been a month and I have not received the offical documentation related to my move! I had so much hope in this place!
For the most part I have no serious issues here but the staff are reallyyyyy inconsistent. I can literally get 3 different answers from 3 different people which makes me question if any of them know what's going on. If they could get that together I could see myself being here a while.
Used to love living here. Until I got an upstairs neighbor who’s made the last few months super miserable. They literally stomp around the house at all hours of the night! I’m not sure if it’s the way the apartments are built but I would highly suggest moving to the 6th floor if you do move here because having an upstairs neighbor is total torture! Outside of that, I will say the gym, the pool and the building is well kept!
I have to say I was not very sold on paying $1600.00 for a 1 bed room in PG County. After doing my research and looking at countless apartments in the area I must say I truly love my apartment its fits the needs of a bachelor just fine ! Fridays, Jasper's, the list goes on of plenty of things to do in the area. My only negative thing so far thus far is the call box situation with guest but hey I will take that any day compared to many places i have lived in the DMV area. The staff is great and I can honestly say I maybe had to reach out to the Manager maybe one time and my issue was taken care of the same day. I have only been here going on now eight months but I have had noting but the best experience while living in largo .
Consistent issues with attitudes, curt and flippant responses, and rudeness. New building, however the paint, specifically in the common areas are very poorly maintained. A building less than a year old should take more pride in presentation and paint touch-ups to the hallways, especially after damages from move-ins, should be handled in a timely manner. I've been a resident since February and both of these issues, attitudinal staff and poor common area maintenance, have been ongoing issues.
