Nestled in the rolling hills of northwestern South Carolina, about 14 miles southeast of Greenville, Simpsonville is a picturesque suburb often cited as one of the best places to live in the state. Simpsonville offers residents an array of housing options in established neighborhoods and brand-new communities, from upscale apartments to historic houses and everything in between.
Simpsonville further balances the modern and the historic with its diverse commercial centers, including national retailers at Fairview Station and unique boutiques in the charming downtown area. Speaking of the downtown area, Main Street is vibrant with rows of historic buildings, alluring storefronts, locally owned restaurants, and an old-fashioned clock tower.
One of Simpsonville’s major attractions is the Heritage Park Amphitheatre, which hosts some of the nation’s most popular musicians, in addition to its many scenic parks like Simpsonville City Park.

Property Ratings at Ascent at Pointe Grande
If I could give zero I would the prices are outrageous. If your in buildings 1,2,3,6,there is no parking you have to park at 11. Half the time internet is down and still have to pay $75 and cant choose your own provider pool is closed weeks at a time. Can hear your neighbors stomping around/yelling.And it always smells like Marijuana. Dog poop and spiders everywhere. All 4 Dumpsters usually overflowing. management does not care just here for the money

A letter addressing the new Assigned Parking System was sent to all residents on 10/30. Please look out for additional information from the office in the coming weeks. We have no control currently over the internet package that the previous owners established during that time, however we are doing our due diligence regarding the internet package to find a better solution for the future. We have been made aware of that internet concern and it has not fallen on deaf ears. The grounds are cleaned every morning. We will ensure that the maintenance crew stays diligent. If you see an area that needs attention, please call the office, and report it. DLH cares deeply for our residents and makes it our mission to do our part to ensure our residents are taken care of. Please reach out to pointegrandpm@dlhproperties.com with any further questions or concerns you may have.
This company is awful do not waste your time or money renting from this company. there is no where to park. They have like 1000 apartments and 100 places to park. There isn't any designated parking for apartments. Its basically 1st come 1st serve. i see People parking on the side of the road. on the curbs. So many people have complained about this and they say they are working on it but who knows.

A letter addressing the new Assigned Parking System went out to residents on 10/30/23. DLH bought the community earlier this year and it became clear that parking has been an issue. Please be patient while we work diligently to solve this problem.

We apologize for any inconvenience you’ve experienced with the parking. We have more than enough parking on site for all residents. We’re focused on continuing to ensure guests park in the designated guest parking areas to ensure the parking spots closer to the units are available for our residents. Thank you for being a valued resident at Pointe Grand.
This place is loud. Office personnel/mgmt doesn't care about you. It has become a dog park with barking dogs BEFORE 6 AM. No parking available and they will tow your car! GO ELSEWHERE.
Property Manager at Ascent at Pointe Grande, Responded To This Review
We apologize you feel you haven’t had a positive experience. As we’ve communicated to you before, we did not commission your car to be towed, and did not charge any fees related to towing.
It seems like since the new management has taken over they only care about getting new residents and then they worry about rent. The pool has been closed for almost a month now and the lie on reviews saying it’s open again.
My experience living here has been terrible! From the $150 Wi-Fi that you MUST PAY to the office only caring about getting your rent and not helping you out with any maintenance or concerns. I had black mold in my apartment (due to water rising from the floor!!) I expressed my concern with the office and they wouldn’t do anything to help me until I went into the office daily, losing time from work, and money because they let me move into another unit because they knew it would take too long to remove the mold (because their lazy). The walls and floor here are so thin!!! You hear everything from your neighbors, this apartment is not worth the money, please stay away!
