First off new resident here and let me tell you this place is a joke nothing has been renovated they just slapped new paint on the walls and changed the carpet didn’t even put insulation under it can feel the plywood with ever step. next the place a giant sticker on the side of my truck for blocking the side walk and when I asked about it they told me to pound sand I asked why I didn’t get a warning first and they said they didn’t have to which is bull cause they have given warnings for parking in the wrong spot to my wife the week before in her vehicle. The management doesn’t care and only helps you for the first week after that they blame you for any problems that come up I would suggest renting a house or finding somewhere else to live over priced and run down save your time with this place
The front office will always tell you two different stories- one will always work out in your favor (and they'll say this to your face to avoid confrontation) and a different one to royally screw you over. The appliances have been a problem since day one and I've been living here for a year. They don't do jack when you put a work order in and if they do, they'll put in another used product that also barely works. Since we've lived here, we've encountered at least a handful of inspections that require people to come into your home with or without your consent. They raised our rent and gave all of the vacant units new appliances and when we asked to move into another unit with new appliances, they said our rent would get raised. They pretty much raised our rent just to pay for the new appliances and cabinets. You might as well pay $300 less for a condo with a schmuck of a landlord than to rent from this sorry excuse of a complex for a joke of a "service".
I was referred to this apartment by a co-worker. After about 4 months of living here, I am glad to say I do not regret renting at Augusta Apartments. As a recent college graduate, with student loans and adult responsibilities creeping up on me, I was really limited to what amenities I wanted for an apartment (my first apartment, for that matter.) Upon searching for a place, I really needed an apartment that had the following: Laundry in-unit Utilities included Garage option and most importantly, a place that is PET FRIENDLY. Fortunately, Augusta Apartments had ALL the things I needed and MORE. From needing maintenance for your apartment to the cleanliness of the grounds, this complex is impressive and on top of it! What I really appreciate about these apartments is the business center with 2 computers and wifi if you bring your own laptop in, the pool & spa and the quaint fitness center open at all hours. I am a visual freelancer and blogger that needs wifi and a quiet place to work all the time, but I am also a broke college student, so the fact that Augusta Apartments provides me with a space during business hours is AMAZING. For being a complex close to schools and one with a lot of tenants who have dogs, the premises is quiet and peaceful. Being able to walk my dog with available doggy bag stations around the complex is also a major plus (another reason why the complex is so clean, the tenants do their part in making sure the grounds are well kept by utilizing those doggy bad stations.) The location of the apartments are GREAT. You are close to literally everything! From the 15 and 215 freeway to shopping centers, you only have to drive a couple of minutes. I love how everything I need is no more than a 10 minute drive (grocery stores, gas stations, coffeehouses, gyms.) The people in the management office are also super nice and on to of things. Every time I walk into the business center I am always greeted with a warm smile and "how are you?" When I need something to be fixed, they are always so prompt. The maintenance crew is also super polite and helpful. I just recently gotten my vinyl kitchen flooring redone due to some peeling issues, and the person who did it, did it in a timely manner and he did an awesome job. I am super grateful to come across this apartment. It has made my experience of living on my own enjoyable. If you are looking into these apartments, I highly recommend it, just based on my own experience thus far.
Fairly affordable. Was recently bought out by a new realty company so small upgrades are popping up around the property but not in the actual apartments as of yet. Appliances are old, all improvements we did out of pocket. But employees are quick to respond to the more serious issues, like our washer broke with our clothes in there leaving them soapy and soaked, they were quick to replace the washer. So quality isn't great but the staff is friendly, it's affordable for what you get, and the location is good.
This complex is in a great location in the hub between Green Valley, Henderson and Las Vegas. Lots and lots of shopping, close enough to the local ambiance of the neon of Las Vegas, but not too close where safety is not a factor. The management is always courteous and there are monthly drawings for rent discounts. The grounds are kept clean and well landscaped. Service on the apartments are always on-going and quick. I've lived in many complexes all over Las Vegas since 1981, but this is the best facility to date!
This will be my third year here. The first year was really good. The staff is a great team. But as with all complexes there are a few hidden things to look for. Carpet that's worn and doesn't show it till after you've move in. When you ask to have someone just look at it, you're told no. If your apartment faces West your electric bill will almost double. Certainly not what I was told when I moved in. When renewing my lease I was offered and incentive to sign a 13 month lease...not a bad thing right? Nope not until it comes time to renew again. The rent goes up by no less than $63, because its what the market will bear, for an 11 month lease! I feel like I am being punished for being a good tenant. Why am I here you may ask? Because of changes in my financial situation I can't afford to move now.
