I’ve lived here going on 5 years and love it!! Staff and amazing and always fast to get in contact with.

This review is to highlight the office staff. They are top notch! Jonathan the Property Manager is great, the girls in the office are top notch. They have a newer guy, I think his name is Brett but he is always eager to help, and very nice. Maintenance guys respond quickly and always take care of any issues in a timely manner. All in all, great experience!

Does amazing making sure everything goes smoothly for residents such as myself and have been a resident for 4 years. Everything around is always well taken care of and have been happy to call this place my home. Johnathan is super friendly and every interaction with him has been great and true.

have been living at Ascot Point for almost eight years. The manager is very helpful and very honest. He have worked with me and my wife when things were at there worst.And when I need a helping hand he is there for us to fix and problems that we have in the apartment. My time at Ascot Point was absolutely horrible. From the lackluster management, to loud and obnoxious residents, to downright dangerous living conditions, this is the LAST place I’d live, and I would NEVER bring my child or children into this development. Living off of Hendersonville road is atrocious. Traffic backs up and if you’re trying to make the light, good luck because it changes once every 5-6 minutes and there’s only one entrance. A month or so into my stay there were rowdy neighbors that would do things like fight, argue, and race each other in their cars around the parking lot from 6pm until sometimes 3am. I thought maybe this was just a one time thing and some residents can act poorly but this is not the case for Ascot Point. My block had continuous and severe issues with residents, to the point where numerous police officers were called to break up fights, to stop people from vandalizing each others cars, to chase people down that were causing noise disturbances (all of which the complex brushed off, basically saying they can’t do anything and to call the police if anything severe happened to me personally). It got to the point where our block was shot up at 3am not once, but TWICE, and nobody within the complex’s management notified the residents until I said something the following day. People’s cars were shot at, breaking windows and shooting holes into the hoods of other vehicles; a bullet cleared the first floor unit window through and into the apartment, and a bullet hit and cracked my window on the third floor, as well as damaged the second floor side paneling. If you thought that was bad, the apartment complex had an attempted armed kidnapping shortly after I moved out, so anything saying this is a great place for your kids is a misguided statement and I would caution anybody with kids from stepping foot in this complex. I also had to wait almost 2 months for my returned security deposit, with zero communication of its status and was forced to follow up on it myself. I normally do not write reviews, but I hated my time at Ascot Point so much that I couldn’t help but warn anybody else out there who is moving to town and looking for any semblance of cheap living conditions. Avoid this complex at all costs if you don’t want to deal with bad traffic, bad apartment complex management, drugs, and crime.

Everyone is nice, respectful and wonderful. A great place for a family, no worries or troubles. Definitely recommend!

This apartment is a great, spacious place thats absolutely beautiful. The management is nice, and any work orders get resolved quickly.

This place is very accommodating. I come from Florida, where it's a hit or miss, mostly a miss. This place far exceeded our expectations! Maintenance is there when issues arise, and even for routine maintenance. Very nice people. The staff at the clubhouse are very nice and welcoming, and they help in any way they can. This place has their own Amazon locker. Highly useful! Our doggo gets her own grooming station and place to run around. The pool is very nice, and has grills for BBQ. The workout room is very useful. Did I mention they have a movie theater too?! And when it gets cold in the winter, there's a fire pit to keep yourself warm.

It is a very nice place, very spacious and comfortable.

Cause of the staff that take their time out to give you all the information that you ask for, as well as talking to you like family and helping you to your every need as best as they can.

I have lived at Ascot for a couple years now, and love the amenities! Love the pet wash station, very handy. The pool is great, and maintenance stays on top of things all over the complex. Great place, great location.

One thing I love about living here is how beautiful the area is. Ascot keeps that well maintained. Along with the amenities, this is a great place to live and close to almost everything! Management and staff are very helpful and friendly as well!

I've lives here for a few years now and I have no complaints with the apaetments or the service I get. If i have an issue, they resolve it rather quickly. The location is great too, close enough to downtown and any medical service I need, as well as being near food shops

Ascot has been the perfect place to live here is Asheville. There isn't a better location, and the maintenance and corporate staff have been excellent. Jonathan helped me with an issue concerning my water bill, and I did not have to stress at all about it!

I lived at Ascot for 6 years now and love it. Nathan at the front office is very knowledgeable and always willing to help you. He is great at following up with you and making sure your questions and issues are resolved. Thanks, Office team for all that you do for the residence.

I would say the apartment complex after the reno is good at face value. The kitchen in the 2 bed 2 bath is great but small counter space. Really nice appliances I will say. The deeper you look into stuff the worse you will it's shortcomings. In the bathroom, there is a leak in the brand new reno and then the parking is terrible since there are no limits to cars. The one redeeming factor is friendly staff and good location and fairly cheap rent for what it is. All in all, I would give it a 7/10

I have lived her for a few years now, and I genuinely feel that I am able to make personally connections with the staff that works here, maintenance, leasing, management and all. Erin in the leasing office always greets me with a friendly tone, and the new property manager Jonathan always goes above and beyond for me and other tenants. Couldn't ask for better apartment living!

The most Unprofessional staff i have had in my entire life. They lied about offers to get you in and then retract or change their previous offers. I had to start recording all my conversations with them because they will always to be lying and be dubious. They will add bunch of hidden fees without letting you know. They are totally in-cognizant of what they are doing and unmindful of people's time. I had an issue and they made me wait for one hour while attending to other customers and never resolved my issue up till date. They changed their staff like 6 times in one year. Make sure to take pictures when you move in because they will charge you absurd fees for even a scratch on the door. The public hallways always smell like weed all the time. The main trash container is always full and the apartment complex as a whole is VERY POORLY LIT so you are easily exposed to any crime at night. DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF AND SERIAL LIARS!

This Place was a dream come true when we first got here. We were so excited to finally find a place that was willing to work with us. The apartment we viewed was beautiful and the price was great! So of course we got our own apartment, once we got our apartment and signed the lease we quickly realized our apartment was nothing compared to the viewing apartment. This place wants you to think their apartments are high quality by making their viewing apartment and office look beautiful but at the end of the day they are liars and don’t deserve any money. On top of that the safety of their patrons doesn’t matter at all, there was a shooting here just a few days ago and they could care less about it. They’re just money hungry and could care less about anything else.

Seriously DO NOT believe the rating this site gives. I lived in Ascot for 2 years and watched the front staff change 5 times. The front office is inconsistent and they do NOT communicate with each other. Also I’ve been waiting 3 months to get my security deposit which they gouged with hidden fees and what not. NO ONE get their full deposit back. The staffing acts like high school, and if you show that you are upset or stand up for yourself in any way they will bully you by beating around the bush with whatever complaint you made. Making you wait an unreasonably long time or simply not returning calls. WORST EXPERIENCE. Do NOT move here, you will regret it.

I moved here about 7 months ago and I cannot wait for my lease to be up!!!! The managment has flipped 4 times since I moved in. The current managment don't care if you are happy they just want money. It's ridiculous how they manage this place. My neighbors leave trash and all sort of junk outside their doors and I have a pumpkin outside mine for the holidays and they are charging me $25 because it's in "violation". Don't move here unless you want to hate coming "home"

Ascot point village is the absolute worst place to live in Asheville, I've lived in a bunch of apartment complexes in Asheville and you DO NOT want to move here. To begin with, the trash compactor has been broken and leaking trash juice everywhere which carries an awful gagging smell around the whole property since the first day we moved here. There are always mounds of trash in front of the compactor and it is absolutely disgusting. About a month ago we survived a fire that started on the first floor which extended up to the third floor, which is where we live, no fire alarms were sounded so we were not alerted, the fire department had to evacuate us out our back window, hence the screens were broken out. Nobody has contacted us to repair the screens two months later, we have not been able to open up our windows since. They have not began any repairs to the building, INCLUDING THE LIGHTS IN THE HALLWAYS! At night when our dog needs to go out we can't take her out without being terrified for our safety because this complex already has a bad reputation for recent break ins, crime, rape, disasters, etc. Next, to top everything off id like to address the fact that we heard gun shots early in the morning a few weeks ago which sounded like they were being fired from under the building, though no police report or follow up was ever conducted. There are cigarette butts EVERYWHERE and NO ONE cleans up after their dogs. DO NOT MOVE HERE, WE ARE TERRIFIED OF THIS PLACE.

This place has throughly convinced me that apartments are the worst living situation possible. I would rather live in a tent outside in the middle of winter than in a place ran by confrontational, drama causing managers and tenants that can't dare to let someone live in peace. All of those reviews must have been bought by the way, because nearly none of it is true. They have a gym with like 3 pieces of working equipment, near constant loud work going on outside, there's SPEED BUMPS AND TRAIN TRACKS. Almost no washers or dryers that work right, and I have never spoken to someone who has enjoyed their experience with this place. Good luck to you, if you still decide to move in. You need it.

Feels like home as soon as you step through the doors. The apartment is very quiet you rarely hear other residents. It was very clean and maintained. It is very spacious and open. The bedrooms are good size rooms and the bathrooms are very spacious. Having my own washer and dryer makes it feel like a house. Having the sunroom is an added amenity. The grounds are very well kept. Beautiful in the summer with flowering trees and plants. With many uncaring residents who liter and don't pick up their pet waste I see the maintenance personnel hard at work cleaning up after them. The maintenance staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They always answer calls promptly and work orders are completed in a timely manner with no call backs to fix again. The office staff is very courteous and helpful. It's very wonderful to have a dog park to let my pet roam free. The pool is beautiful and well kept. There is a grilling area where you can grill out which is nice in the warmer months. I would definitely recommend Ascot Point Apartments to my friends and family. It's a wonderful place to live.

For as big as the complex is, I thought it would be loud, but I almost never hear my neighbors. The staff is nice and the few times I've needed them, maintenance has been on the ball. Plan to get an apartment with a washer a dryer as the communal ones almost always eat up your money without working properly.

I am concerned because the rent is going up and I don't see that we are getting any new amenities. I really want recycling and I hear that it is coming. Let's get that going. I can't comment on the social scene. I haven't seen much going on in that respect. Likes and suggestions: I am very happy in this community.

Well taken care of and feels like home the minute you move in.

I like the location of the complex. It is convenient to many desired shops, restaurants, medical facilities, etc. The buildings are brick and that reduces cost on renter's insurance and heating/ac costs. The community itself is easy to walk the dog or work on an exercise program as weather permits. I have met several people while out walking the dog or picking up the mail. I love the staff. They are professional and work hard to know residents by name. They also welcome my pet in the office (sometimes there are doggie treats on the table) when I might drop by to say hello, pick up a package or pay my rent. I feel safe here with some good neighbors close by as well as good lighting within the property.

We have had nothing but problems from our apartment since we have moved in. Maintenance is HORRIBLE, they don't know what they are doing when they do show up and never fix problems they just try to cover up the problems. You can hear everytime someone opens/closes their door and goes up and down the steps. Some of the staff can be friendly but they don't really try to make people renting happy, they are always right, customers are never right with them. The train tracks in front of apartments, you don't really think about, but you hardly ever hear a train during the day, they come through at least once sometime 2-3 times in middle of the night. Parking can be a pain if you get home after 6. We cannot wait to move out of here!! Likes and suggestions: We like the location, we are close to work daycare and entertainment.

I like the friendly helpful people who work at Ascot. The place does need to be a bit more handicapped accessible.

The grounds are kept up well and there is plenty of parking. If you need a handyman, they come right away. There are not a lot of kids playing outside, so it is quiet.

Location is great. Removal of speed bumps would be good and also a stoplight at exit. Wish apartments had a balcony.

I like the size of the units and the overall cleanliness of the site. Unfortunately it seems everytime you have a social activity I'm working.

Amazing staff and experience. All elements from move in to move out ran smoothly, communication was quick, friendly, and helpful. Deposit was returned fairly and on time. Enjoyed living here more than almost any other apartment I've ever lived in. Likes and suggestions: Great community. Only thing I would fix is that when I lived there the dryers in the laundry room did not work and it was frustrating at times.

As a whole Ascot Point Apartments is great place to live. I have had a few issues with stuff not working correctly in my current apt but when notified it has been fixed immediately. And also having to walk forever when getting in past 9 because there is no parking is ridiculous. But as a whole I have enjoyed living at Ascot Point for the last several years. Likes and suggestions: The neighborhood feels very safe and is relatively quiet. The location is excellent! I have never had a problem with any of the staff of Ascot Point. When there is maintenance issue they fix it rather quickly and professionally. The amenities are comparable to other apartments in their price range and a bit nicer than a few. The down side of living in Ascot Point Apartments is the parking. I have been told that they are doing something about it but so far nothing has come of it. People who own more than one car or a motorcycle and a car are not forced to park in over flow as they should be. Assigned parking would do wonders to this neighborhood.

The place is noisy, you will have to park at least 4 buildings away if you are lucky and the staff is constantly changing that they don't care about the tenants. Avoid the headache and look elsewhere!!! Likes and suggestions: The apartment complex is in an ideal location near stores.

Parking is awful for the most part. Unless you live near the 22 building. We have a tennis court that I do not see many people use ever. It would be better to have a basketball court. And if you don't like the sound of the train do not move here. Staff turn over rate is really high. Likes and suggestions: I like that Ascoy is a safe place for my child. I enjoy the south Asheville location. Close to a variety of stores.

The grounds are not the best, I will be the first to admit that. The buildings are sort of "blah" looking, and they REALLY need to get rid of that tennis court and replace it with a second pool. Having said that, it is still the BEST value you will find in South Asheville. AND, they DO have really nice bbq areas throughout the property, that you can take advantage of. They also recently put in a dog run and I believe are planning on putting in a second one that will be much bigger for your pets! Likes and suggestions: The staff at this community is great! They are friendly and willing to work with you to meet all your needs. You can not beat the value you get (large square feet apartments) and location.

The staff was very friendly, I could go in the office any time and talk to them if I needed. Likes and suggestions: It was a nice quite community that you could relax in, but also had some kids for my niece and nephews to play with.

I have lived here going on two years and have no complaints. Any minor problems I have had were attended to expeditiously by the staff.

My neighbors are friendly and have been there when I needed help. The community also has activities like pool parties (even in the rain) for the residents

We lived there for 5 years and enjoyed the location. We also were helped any time we needed with any issue we were having. The suggestion I would have is to be mindful of who you stick in the same building i.e. people with kids, college kids, baseball players.

My likes and dislikes about this community are: the pool and fitness center are nice
