About Ash Street
A quite, solidly built complex located west of MacArthur. Just four blocks from Washington Park, and close to Hy-Vee, the complex is in a nice residential area. The floors are poured concrete which help limit noise from neighbors. There are coin operated washer and dryer in each building. We have a parking lot behind the buildings as well as a small visitor lot near the front.
Ash Street is an apartment community located in Sangamon County and the 62704 ZIP Code. This area is served by the Springfield School District 186 attendance zone.

There’s an unmistakable charm to Springfield, a city that exudes the allure of a small town while housing nearly 115,000 residents. Blending modern conveniences with a historic atmosphere, the capital city of Illinois — and birthplace of President Abraham Lincoln — is a compelling Midwest metropolis for renters of all types.
Aside from its presidential history, Springfield is full of culinary delights and entertainment destinations. Cozy Dog Drive-In alleges to have made the first corn dog in 1946, and it’s always a popular spot. Enjoy the shops at White Oaks Mall, fun at Knight’s Action Park, and plenty of breweries just north of the city center. There’s a number of parks and excellent educational opportunities, including the University of Illinois Springfield. The city comes together to enjoy annual events like the Illinois State Fair and more.
