The city of West Monroe has a number of charming attributes and enjoyable attractions inside its quaint community. Its “twin city" Monroe is on the east side of the Ouachita River, making West Monroe on the west, hence its name.
Biedenharm Museum & Garden is a local gem with a Coca-Cola gift shop. The 1914 mansion was home of the first company bottler, Joseph Biedenharn, and includes a gorgeous garden oasis and brand memorabilia from the Biedenharn family. Landry Vineyard is also a fun place to visit in town. They produce a variety of wines, pair them with cheese, and host outdoor concerts.
In addition to their West Monroe apartments, locals enjoy having direct access to Interstate 20 for easy travel into Shreveport, LA or Jackson, MS. Lazarre and Kiroli Park are two community green spaces perfect for outdoor recreation. Love it here. This is a pretty big complex but the front office workers know me by name. They are always kind, The very few issues I've had, like repair issues are always handled within hours of reporting. The maintenance dudes are always hard working and kind too. The world going crazy but the Ash is just home.
Living here has been an exceptional experience. The community is welcoming, and the management team goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel valued and heard. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, often within the same day, and the staff is courteous and professional. The amenities are nice, from the well-maintained gym and pool to the shared spaces, which are always clean and inviting. The location is also ideal, offering easy access to walmart and restaurants. If you're looking for a place that combines convenience, comfort, and a strong sense of community, this property is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it!

Easy to get everything done and staff was real friendly , polite, and professional. They made my transition to West Monroe, LA very easy, coming from 3 states to get to my destination.
AC is not cooling temperature is going upto 83 F. Every time some fix is done temporarily

Apartments are great and are in an awesome location. Just wish there was more dumpsters instead of 1 starship compactor .would also be cool if they had a hot tub, I’d give the apartments 4.5

The reasons are many as to why it's excellent. The apartments are well built so neighbor noise is almost a non issue. The maintenance guys are friggin heros. Maybe 7 years ago the property managers were a little unlikable, but the Ash hired some new ladies that are so nice. They are always available, remember everyone's names and are generally really nice people. I love living here. The apartments ARE starting to get into that pricy range. I hope last year was just a little price adjustment and not a sign of things to come. If rent gets much higher the middle class job people won't be able to afford it anymore. Thanks for reading.

Thumps up - I feel very comfortable- noise/people issue are under control so very safe. We have a great gym- pool always clean- we a place to walk around a cool pond that has wildlife- most people clean up after their kids/dogs. We love it here. The apartment’s layout has us waking up everyday feeling like we’re on vacation at a nice hotel. The pool and gym add to that effect. The lawn is always taken care of. The apartment is air-tight enough that my light bill doesn’t get out of control. It’s great, we love it.

The community is quite good and safe—affordable rents. Clean Swimming pools, Amazing and Polite helpful staff in the leasing office, and maintenance staff. Safe and convenient neighborhood. Gas station and Walmart are right around the corner.

I've lived at Ashford Place for 4 years and really love it. My neighbors are so nice and we've formed our own little family community. It's a great place for families. The children are well cared for and very well mannered. The amenities are excellent . The office staff is very responsive and cater to our needs well. Of course, it's a great place for dogs. Been here for 3 years now, will probably be 4 until I move away for school. Overall decent place to live. Had trouble with A/C in the beginning and waited a while (a year) for it to be fully fixed. Very nice staff, probably a little overwhelming with the amount of staff:resident ratio. Apartments layout and quality of appliances are nice.

A nice place to live. Quiet. Well lit. Great maintenance team who are on top of handling any issues that may occur in the apartment. Nice walking paths and friendly neighbors. Only issue is garbage. Need either more dumpsters or trash pick up more often.

Such a nice society located very close to grocery stores and in case you have maintenance issues it will be resolved at some clicks. Kids have great space to play so very family friendly.
After living in Los Angeles, moving home to get an apartment. This is a very nice area to stay in. The thing I like about the apart the most is the pond. The fish are very active wish there was more big ones inside the pond
Staff is nice, place is well kept! Community centered events are always happening, so there’s always a social to attend. The addition of different food trucks weekly has been great as well!
Move in was great and went by smooth and easy after I got all the documents I needed. My dog and I took around the complex today and she really enjoyed it. Overall everyone seems happy!

Signing the lease for my fiancé and I first home together was very simple and quick. The manager was very friendly and welcoming. she worked with us and got us in as soon as possible. The neighbors are all very nice and the community itself is calm and pleasant. The kids love the pool and the playground. Also the grounds are clean and very well maintained

The area is great. Lots of amenities, areas for the kids. The apartment feels like it was designed for moving in furniture. Getting it up the steps was the hardest part and that was even too difficult, to be honest.

We just moved in but so far we absolutely love it. We love the pool, the play ground, and how friendly everyone is. Our youngest daughter didn't have any friends and day one I've seen her play with at least 7 different kids. We hope to stay here a long time.
