I loved my stay here friendly community with a friendly staff
I want to first start off by saying, thank you Miss.Leslie for going above and beyond for my children and I. It’s been very difficult for me to find a location that was close to my children’s school, has affordable month to month rent and has staff that truly cares about their residents. If y’all look at this location, it’s not the prettiest, it’s not the fanciest but it’s enough for us. We haven’t had any issues prior to choosing these apartments and there is a security guard that drives around throughout the night. Leslie thank you again. You are truly a blessing.
This place has been a nightmare for my family and I. From seeing children "jump" other children, children beating cats to death, from the horrible management, the roaches, this place has just been a nightmare for us. Make sure you give your 60 day notice to move out, or you will be stuck here renewing for another year. I see a lot of new tenants move in, but then move out (break their lease) once they realize the kind of community this place is. I will say they have been attempting to do upgrades here and there on cable, water etc...however, those upgrades do not change the fact that some of the residents here do not watch their children well. The cops are in the complex every week if not more frequently then that. I understand beggars cannot be choosers depending on your financial situation, but be careful what you are about to bring your children into, if you have a family and plan to move here.
Well I tell you,we have been here on this property for about 3years. We have had some disagreements with personnel along the way for some reason or another. There has been times where we wanted to relocate or thought about not renewing our lease but in light of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey,we are fortunate and blessed to be here. God bless everyone that suffered loss in this devastating time. Ashford Santa Cruz residents have not suffered. We are still dry. Happy to be here....for that reason. And it's not bad that Ms Sanya has returned from maternity leave. She is professional and just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Thank you Sanya. You rock from Apt #923.
I absolutely hate these apartments. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. The office people don't do anything about any situation. They hired all these teenage boys to be maintenance who don't fix nothing when you call. We renewed our lease a long time ago they promised black appliance and new blinds never received any of these... there favorite excuse is the lady who does it is not here or they ran out... wym ran out you promised this I didn't ask for it... You have to pay to park or you want have any where to park which I find really ridiculous... they tow cars even if they have a parking permit on them...they have robbery in these apartments and have no cameraa to prove anything... Oh don't let me even mention the roaches they are having a fiesta in people house to the point where you don't even feel comfortable living there... these apartments need health inspectors here
Never live here. It's horrible. When problems need to be fixed and are reported to the manager or staff, they do nothing about it. When you go back to the office to remind them, they talk to you in a very insulting manner. The roaches are unbearable. They even go into the fridge. The apartment floods all the time when it rains. there's been very stinking water come through the bathtub drains into the tabs in the apartment. I think it's the apartments sewage water or toilet water that rises into the bathtub. It takes hours sometimes a day for it to be fixed when reported. The whole apartment stinks when that happens and after it's fixed, you have to scrub the stinking toilet residue out of your tub if you want to survive the stench. It's a horrible place to be. Because of flooding, there's green growth and stuff in the bathrooms. Like the other reviewer said vehicles of people living in the complex get towed all the time. The parking slots are sold so if you don't want your car towed often, you have to buy a slot and pay every month. It's a horrible place to be. The rooms in the apartment are not like the video. It's roach infested and when reported a substance is sprinkled at the back of the fridge and no where else cos they say the substance is poisonous when there are other less harmful substances that can be used to get rid of majority of the roaches too but may cost them just a little bit more so there can be peace of mind. Oh it's horrible. It's really horrible.
The apartment manager is very rude and refused to verify my previous occupancy. Hopefully this manager is is fired for her unprofessionalism.
Do NOT move here. They tow your car for any given reason. The office staff do not care one bit about much of anything except collecting their rent.

Good morning, I apologize for any inconvenience you may have had with your vehicle However we have certain parking policies that need to be followed in order for your vehicle not to be towed. In the other hand we are changing the parking permits in order to ensure only current resident are parking in our community. If you would like to come into the office and discuss another issues your more than welcome to do so.
When it rains it always floods no matter how little and it sometimes gets knee deep. There is always loud music and people smoking outside.
its a great place if you are on a budget. all you pay is rent and your electricity, water suage everything is free.
We have bats. The staff is rude and does not try to satisfy our needs. The maintenance is very poor and we have to wait a long time for our needs to be met.
This apartment in North Houston has changed a lot. I used to leave there and it was a mess a few years ago. When I moved back to Houston I was in the area and noticed the changes. The new owners cleaned the place up and everything is looking better. I moved back in this month and got a good deal for the area.
The complex is very open space and the community center has a lot of activities, like free ESL classes, After School program and other cools free stuff.
