Rude Management Company

- DO NOT MOVE HERE- I've had multiple staff tell me how horrible the new management is. You know the management team is bad when the staff isnt happy. - Water doesn't stay the same temperature for more than a few minutes. - There is constantly work being done to the building where they give you less than 24 hour notice if any notice at all. Examples:I was told that I have to have someone professionally remove my air conditioner within the next 12 hours so the company can paint the windows. This costs about $100 per air conditioner. In another instance I had to basically convince the management company to put locks on my windows since they decided to put scaffolding outside of my windows so they could repair the roof. (No notice was given for this one which means I woke up to men outside of my window). - Management company is rude. Whenever I call they tell me that I need to speak to a manager but I never receive a call back from the management team. I'm constantly told that someone will call me back but no one ever does.

A king sized studio in a king sized city

When I first moved to Chicago all of the studios I looked at were the size of large closets. When I finally saw the amount of space at 1608 W. Sunnyside Ave I was sold! The only question I had was, "where is the kitchen?" There was actually a whole other section to the apartment I had yet to see! While it may be a studio, my bedroom and living room are in two separate areas. Huge walk in closet leads to the bathroom. Pretty good sized kitchen as well which leads to the back door. Finally there is a hallway which houses another big coat closet ( a luxury in this city for some reason) and the main entrance. The landlord has been nothing but incredible and responds with in minutes if any problem arises or is proactive before they even occur! The only downside to the space are the noisy floors. It's an older building and I hate walking around late at night knowing I may be keeping up my neighbor. If they ever redo the floors in the building this would be the only apartment I would ever need during my years in this city!
