Do not bother to rent from this place!!!! Save yourself the headache!!! The property hasn't offered amenities to the residents in the many years I have been here. The gate has been broken for over 3 years, causing multiple car break ins. They will not fix anything in your unit. If you have emergency work orders or simple work orders they will not get completed. The front office staff will give you attitude and you can tell they are not interested in their jobs. You will have to call a contractor yourself for anything to be fixed. The pool is never open in the summer for the kids to swim in and you can't use none of the amenities such as the clubhouse or gym. They will let your unit go without having working appliances and will not fix anything until after you have complained A LOT and called people above them. The property used to be really pretty and the staff cared years ago , but today they are awful! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE.

I’m just trying to help you out.. if you move in here you will regret it. The hallway inside the buildings is disgusting because people throw trash in the hallways or lane trash bags outside their apartment doors and as soon as u walk in, it stinks. No one comes and cleans so the hallway in the building stays dirty and nasty. It’s also not safe here there have been shootings often around the complex you can hear gunshots literally every night of gang bangers riding around and just randomly firing shots. There have been car break ins and car jackings so beware of ur surroundings. So save yourself the headache and DONT move in here because trust me u will regret it. It’s not worth the money to live in this piece of s***

I moved in August of 2018 because I go to Spelman and I don’t have a car so the location is AMAZING. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk to class. BUT this apartment sucks. They are a nice size but there are so many issues that it’s not worth the money. The doors that are supposed to be locked are always open. There were at least three occasions since I’ve lived here that there was a homeless person living in our stairwell because the doors were left unlocked. The gate to the parking lot is always broken and stays wide open. There have been at least four shootings since I’ve been here and the office does not tell us about them. One time someone tried to break into my apartment and then less than five minutes later there was shooting outside of my door. I called the office and ask that they not only change my locks but also lock the doors leading to the street. This was a week ago and neither issue has been addressed. When I first moved in I didn’t have working AC for about 2 months. My faucet leaks and my shower pressure is almost nonexistent. I eventually just stopped sending in maintenance requests because they simply don’t fix anything, BUT they’ll respond online as if the request has been addressed. The only reason I haven’t moved is because I’m a broke college student and I need to be this close to campus.

WOW! where do I even start... well I guess with the good. I moved in June 2017, the apartment was very nice! Super huge room, not too many complaints, however we did see our fair share of roaches, they claimed they sprayed , it never seem to happen or help. Long story I ended up hiring outside help for the problem.. no issue because i found a good deal and loved the area and apartment so much THE BAD... the horrible. Anything that has to deal with the staff in the office .. you can forget about it. When we moved in, it was okay, many of the staff seem to not know what they are doing.. one will you one thing and when you call back another staff will act completely confused and tell you what you asked for is not possible THE WORST my real issue came when I moved out my apartment in August. Long story short my apartment was in great shape when we moved out so we were able to receive our deposit back.. here it is almost a year later and WE ARE STILL WAITING ON OUR MONEY back. The office is the definition of run around, they will promise to do things for you to seem helpful.. but time after time it’s let downs. and no return calls! And you can forget going to management cause they are not anymore helpful than there staff. I am now at the point of corporate so trust me when I tell you save the headache cause they do not care about the issues. as you can see time after time in reviews. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SKIP COLLEGETOWN. you pay way to much for the amount of sorry customer service you receive when it comes to matience and the front office... you say you enhance lifestyle at Ashley college town, well I say do better!
I am currently a prospective resident of Ashley collegetown.they have moved my lease and move in date 3 separate times.that is 3 missed days of work. The only thing the office can do is adjust the prorate to the corresponding amount of time you will be in the unit that month and offer empty promises.I has been a while since I have felt with this level of unprofessional behavior.i know they say people only write reviews for the bad things but there's some truth in what they are writing. They do not value your time nor money at Ashley college town.its cheap but find somewhere else to stay if you have a choice.preferably with people who value you've as a customer.
Ashely Collegetown is a very nice place to stay! The only issue I have is the NOISE from 1 home! I've called a few times and nothing has been done. These people are talking LOUD All day & ALL NIGHT!!!! You can hear everything they are talking about thats how loud they are!!! Im sure I'm not the only one that has mentioned this to the rent office.
I called to get information about leasing a 1 br apartment. The woman who answered the phone did not seem interested in helping me. She seemed to not listen to what I was saying..Won't be moving here..
Live on 1st floor. With home security system. Thieves broke in any way at 12:00 noon. Alarm went off. Stole $2000 laptop. Apart is very nice. Staff at office good. I just don't feel safe anymore.
I am disappointed.I am paying too much rent and the doors to the main building are wide open for anyone to walk in or break in your place.
