Property Ratings at Ashley Crest
There’s roaches everywhere the carpets are messed up the staff are rude if your a hard worker and you value where your money goes this not the place for you just save yourself the favor. And the shower and tub run at the same time and the water turns yellow just don’t …… do yourself the favor and read ….!
people smoke too much marijuana, no parking, no connection for washer and dryer, their laundry center is a joke, luckily and it works sometime, the water is lousy always dirty, it has no central air, I do not have a water heater Separate water, I can say more problems but I fall short.
The best advice I can give you is to go talk to the residents of the apartment complex to see what they like and do not like about the apartment complex. GOOD THINGS: (1) Small Apartment Complex: 168 units. 1-2 BR apts only; (2) Gated Community: Gates closed 24-7; (3) Senior Citizen Discount: 10% (Age 60 ); (4) Application Fees/Deposits: Low; (5)BR’s LR’s: Very large (12 ft X 15.5 ft) (11.9 ft X 15.1 ft); (6)Parking: Reserved ($15/month); (7) Electricity: Metered. Under $40/month 1 BR; (8)Water/sewer: Allocated. About $16/month 1 BR; (9)Fees: No hidden fees/junk fees; (10)Quiet/Safe Apt Complex. BAD THINGS: (1)Flooding: The apts flooded during Hurricane Harvey. Ask the apt manager what was done to prevent future flooding; (2)No bus line; (3)No washer/dryer connections; (4)Unairconditioned laundromat; (5)No gym; (6)Ceiling fans: 1; (7) No kitchen pantry; (8)No Living Room light fixture.
I should've listened to the bad reviews! Everything about this place is bad. No washer/dryer hookups, no garages, no gate remotes, and parking is basically non existent. The laminate floorsin the kitchen were coming up. Water was coming up from under the carpet in three different places. I lived here for a year. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies. I would say you get what you pay for but you dont. They are way unprofessional with managing the place. There was always sewage backing up in the apartments and the parking area. Pest control was a waste of time considering it didn't do much good. Constantly crime and car break-ins. The mantenence never fixed anything and when they tried it would end up just rigged up. When we moved out they charged us for normal wear and tear. They charged us for a ton of extra bull, too. Please beware of these awful apartments! Keep your friends and family away from this place!!
Small one bedroom apartment. Upstairs, no balcony, no washer/dryer (or hookups). No visitor parking. Small closet size kitchen. Very old carpet. Maintenance is at their leisure. No amenities !!!! At all !!! HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My apartment community is quiet, most of the time. It has an interesting mix of nationalities. Most problem tenants are weeded out after complaints reach upper management. The units are mostly from the late seventies, and are in need of updating, but for the price are about what one could and should expect. I long to move to a newer place with upgraded amenities such as WiFi, washer and dryer connection, and bathroom ventilation fans. I love my community and hope one day the current, or future owners will understand apartment dwellers need and appreciate the same comforts as they the owners do. After all, whether one resides in a single dwelling facility or an apartment, it is home, and should be "sweet home".
