I am a 7 year tenant. I love living here. I would recommend Ashton Park if you're looking for nice, safe, quiet atmosphere. The new manager Michelle is Great! Communication is great. They have it set up where She can send out and receive text. They had to shut the water off to the building this week due to water line break and i got the text letting me know. I really appreciated that. Sundance would of just shut it off with no warning. Btw, All tenants have her cell number and she does answer. She has taken on a lot of issues left behind from the last owner Sundance. Before Sundance sold to them, there were issues with abandoned vehicles, the pond needed a new pump, water line leaks, bad lighting in back parking lot. Which Summerfield has taken care of all. So when the New Owners Summerfield bought it which was in June 2018, they inherited a lot undisclosed issues that shoulda been taken care by old owners Sundance. Michelle you've been a Real Tropper! Im glad your here! Keep up the good work !
I lived her through the take over. prior to then, it wasn't all that great but at least you had responsive maintence. Michelle(office lady) is very impersonal, never answers her phone or emails, and quite frankly was a pain to deal with. I scheduled off multiple days to actually talk to her but she was no where to be found. If you need to call maintence, we'll... good luck. he's only in 3 times a week or so and is frequently late. I had correspondence with Michelle and maintence to fix something in my place. Maintence flat out lied saying they went to my place but never showed up.. because I was there... waiting. I have so much documentation on the whole ordeal that denying it just diga your hole faster. Advice: treat your tenants like they are paying you for a livable environment with responsible maintence. if you all couldn't afford the upkeep of this place, maybe start smaller with a duplex.
I have lived in Ashton Park Apartments on two different occasions and since I moved away have missed it. I hope to be able to call this beautiful place home again sometime this summer. The grounds are beautifully kept, there is an island in the back which has picnic tables & 2 grills for grilling enjoyment! Maintenance staff is exceptional and there when you need them.. Office personnel has always been friendly and helpful as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for an apartment in the Amelia area. The location is also close to so many shopping places that you don't have to go far for anything. Laundry facilities in each building is also a plus!!! Just a beautiful, affordable place to live!!
