Ashton Pines Apartments & Townhomes

Recently we woke up to no heat at 4am. I called the emergency line left a message. My call was returned very quickly. Not even 20mins after the call Mathew was knocking on my door. Even that early in the morning he was so nice and explained the problem and everything he was doing. Heat was fixed in no time. Very pleased with his service.

I have lived here for almost a year. This place is nice. I plan on staying here awhile. Kelly abd micah help me all the time

In the time I have lived here it has been nothing but enjoyable. I love the neighborhood and they keep it very nice and do things all the time to make it even nicer. Kelly is so amazing in the office and responds to whatever you need very quickly and is so nice! Matt and Onio also do a very good job and fix everything very well and in a timely manner. I highly recommend living here.

I recently just moved into my apartment a couple days ago and it is just what I expected and what I was told it would be. Spacious and clean. Christina helped me with everything so that the process of getting in was very smooth. Very happy with my new home. Highly recommended.

I drove by the office about a week ago and was greeted by a young lady named Kelly. She walked me through the process of getting on the waitlist considering a one bedroom was not available. I don't like the fact that I have to pay $349 just to apply to a waitlist but Kelly has made it seem worth it. I will be applying here soon. The area looked well kept and I seen people working on the pool looking forward to becoming a resident here.

Very nice townhomes at a reasonable price. Management was helpful with the application process, starting from the very first phone call. Maintenance technicians have been quick to respond and correct any issues. We hope for this pleasant experience to continue.

This place is not maintained properly and falling apart cracks in the wall and ceilings big problem with ants and rodents. And maintenance never wants to fix things.

Rats, pests, poor customer service. They also frequently fail to give 24hr notices and take forever to make repairs if at all.

I recently applied for an apartment with Ashton Pines. I called and spoke with Taylor. She was amazing and extremely helpful. I appreciated that a lot. Hoping this is a great fit for me.

Madeline was very personable and helpful in looking for a 4 bedroom. She took her time explaining everything and sent all the info needed within 20 minutes!!

By far the worst most disgusting place I have ever lived. I had a nice infestation.. I’m an extremely clean person and they were no help. Everyday they would come in and find dead mice on my floor and still could not offer to move me into a different unit. When I finally took the loss and left, the amount of mouse droppings left behind was more than anything I could of imagined. You would have thought it was a floor design. These mice are not afraid either these are city mice. I would be sitting on my couch after a long day of work and look over and see one sitting there. Just hanging out. Worst complex in Columbus. They do not care about you. And the main girl in the office is extremely unprofessional.

I lived here 15 years ago for 7years. I saved enough money to buy a home The pool was massive before they filled in half of it. I lived on the front side towards Derrer rd. I loved it! It was quiet office never bothered anyone. They always kept tons of flowers planted. Always had activities for kids at pool area.Great times!

Dont do it! This place isn't worth your money. Filthy. Bedbugs. Roaches. Mice. Overpriced. Maintenance just "rigs" things instead of replacing them. Pool never open..even on 90 degree sunny days. Staff is ridiculously rude.

Been trying to get rid of rats for the longest time. Everytime I call they said they’ll be sending someone me out next week. Next week comes and they never come.

I remember when me and my family first moved out there back in 2009 and they had bad mice issues that they never took care of it was very nice at first and they apartment space was a lot of room. But if they didn't have mice and the rent was decent we would have continued to live there.

I would recommend Ashton Pines to anyone looking for a nice place to move. This is a nice, quiet community that is conveniently located close to grocery stores as well as a variety of food places. It is a quiet community, the townhomes are nice and roomy and the staff is very friendly and helpful. -Kelsey G.

Ashton Pines is a great place and I would recommend it to anyone. The fences in the backyard are recently redone(LOVE THEM). It’s near many different things within a 5-10minute range. Such as gym, grocery store, Hollywood casino. Staff are always on top of things. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Ashton Pines townhomes are amazing! The staff/management are very helpful and friendly. The townhomes are beautiful inside and out. You rarely hear noise. Also the neighborhood is very nice and convenient. We have a Kroger’s, as well as multiple fast food restaurants, a gym, and more just down the road. -Kelsey G.

Apartment itself is amazing, the staff is amazing as well. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Animal friendly as well. Maintenance is always on top of things. LOVE the fenced in backyard, and the walk in closets is a big bonus.

Ashton Pines is a nice quiet and safe community that is close to all major highways and downtown Columbus. The townhomes are nice and quite roomy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rent is affordable and includes all utilities except electric. Overall, the entire experience of Ashton Pines Townhomes living is very nice. I recommend this community to anyone that is looking for a spacious, quiet place to move that is still conveniently located.

Ashton Pines Townhomes is a wonderful place to live in Columbus. Hannah and Cassie in the office are extremely nice and go out of their way to help you with anything you may need!! The maintenance department addresses any problems immediately and with professionalism and efficiency!

The Ashton Pines Apartments and Townhomes located in Columbus, Ohio is a great family community base environment. I have moved here from Grove City, Ohio after my daughter was hired on the eastside of Columbus, Ohio. My daughter’s commute was about two hours from her new job to Grove City, Ohio. Not only that, she had to walk thirty minutes to get to our apartment from Broadway and Home Rd. Well, I looked at several apartments which some were sort of pricey and did not provide the community comfort I was looking for coming from Detroit, Michigan. I reviewed most of the apartments with associates I met during the years I have lived here and noticed that most of those who gave me advice was very jittery about anywhere they moved and standards of living was as if they once lived out in either they country (200 – 600 families of less) Suburban communities ( 2000 – 6000 families or less) or lived within such a place that they possibly were closed off from civilization or social contact. I was also told not to move in the Hill Top area due to the crime and drugs, not to mention the prostitution problem. Coming from Detroit, Michigan and seeing crime first hand and being in the Marines overseas and in third world environments I did not see any of the issues that they were describing. The Columbus Police consistently camps out and on watch not including the residence who live here. The grounds are always maintained at least twice per week I have seen… and the maintenance crew are always working very hard to accommodate residence in the order of importance and urgency. I have seen the most residence that complain about this location are either between the ages of 25 – 35 years of age and pretty much not to proactive in nature… (lazy). You have to participant in the community which you live if you want to maintain the quality of life that you are searching for. You cannot expect others to maintain your efforts if you do not participant to assist to maintain the efforts of others living around you. Other than that, this is a very well put-to-gather community. The crime that has been linked to the Hill Top is about 5 miles further down from this area toward Downtown Columbus, Ohio. Beautiful park “Westgate Park” for walking or sitting and watching things go by. The bus stop is about 10 minute walk and will take you straight into downtown Columbus. The bus will also, take you to Hollywood Casino on N. Wilson and Broad. Very safe area to my viewing.

My fiancé and I moved here in October of last year. The apartment size is great for just us and the rent is reasonable and the included utilities are awesome. But no W/D hookup in the one bedroom, which they have room for but just didn't do. Lots of room for our pup to run and use the potty across the street. ** beware that people don't pay attention to the 25mph sign and fly down the main road.** Management is nice to us at least, but my apartment flooded one cause. The neighbors tank busted and they did a crap job at sucking up the water. Left my floors stinking so badly. I would give this a three out of five for the management and apartment but I'm leaving because of my place being broken into. If that had never happened, I would probably be going into a two bedroom and signing my lease again.

I lived at Ashton Pines between 2003 -2008. I returned after my daughter graduated from high school in 2012 and I have no plans on leaving...I LOVE MY PLACE!! It is located in a ideal spot for a person with 2 jobs. The rent is reasonable and the management office is very polite and concerned about any issues you need to address. I remember having an ongoing issue at my apartment and the management office called me constantly, making sure I was satisfied with all the work the maintenance crew was providing and they constantly reassured me that they would not stop the process until the issue was fixed and I was pleased with the outcome. It took some time to see the results I needed, but they never stopped the process and they were very patient and understanding even when I was becoming frustrated! They are very responsive to your needs, especially when issues arise after hours. They make sure someone is on-call and come to fix the problem, when needed. I can't ask for a better place to feel at home..

I have lived at Ashton Pines for more than a year now and I am VERY HAPPY HERE! You get a lot for your money living in this complex. The units are well designed, well maintained, well kept landscape grounds, onsite pool, fenced patios, and a large laundry facility. The best part of living here is the proactive and committed management staff. They are quick to address maintenance issues, lease violations, such as loud music, while being polite and professional. I sleep easy here at Ashton Pines and recommend anyone looking for a lovely, peaceful, affordable community to move here.

I have lived here for almost three years, really like my townhome and the staff are always so kind and helpful. They really seem to care a lot about everybody and are always trying to make the homes and grounds to the best that they can. I have never had no problems and plan on staying for the long haul-cause I"m very happy here.

We have lived here for 1 and a half years. The management staff is very professional and polite. We have never had a bad experience with them; Teresa and Lynn are outstanding at their jobs and make you feel like part of the family. They are very courteous and take care of business. I just recently moved into my apartment. I absolutely love it ! Lynn and Theresa are absolutely amazing ! Anytime I need something, they are always there to help me and fix everything I need . I have never lived in an apartment with such amazing landlords. I absolutely recommend Ashton Pines as an amazing place to live !!!

My lease expired and I WAS planning to go month to month. My rent was automatically deducted each month. My partner came and stayed a couple of days with me with her medical dog and lord and behold aright after I paid my last month of rent I received a three day notice to move. Most professions would have asked instead of assuming. Needless to say I personally should take my time and address the multiple families they are allowing to live in a two bedroom apartments. Stay am far away from this place, it's not worth your aggravation.

The boys and I have lived here since fall of 2010. Ashton Pines has been a place that the courts and Job and family services recommend this be a place I could raise two children. Safe with a great school district, and so far they were right. The boys and I love living here their staff as well as maintenance crew have always been professional. As I read some of the other reviews I would only say maybe they need to check themselves. Bed bugs from standing in line at the grocery store, co-workers, to the friends we keep. Instead of blaming others learn how to identify this problem and take proactive steps to prevent this problem. We have lived here as I said since 2010 had them once and it was due to the neighbor bringing home mattresses from her place of business. The office immediately sent out inspectors whom not only corrected the problem, but educated me on how to recognize signs and proactive steps to keep them out of our townhouse. The staff keeps the grounds clean and patrolled by Columbus Police Department..So until we hit the lottery we will continue to love living here..... Norm Nelson retired big10 football official

This is truly a hit and miss property. There are people who have lived here for years and haven't had an issue and that's because there were different people in the office managing the property. Now it takes forever for something to be fixed. Serveral times I have called and there aren't any work orders on things I have called for multiple times because of how unorganized and untrained the staff is. Everyone experiences an issue with bugs and/or rodents. From mice, roaches to bed bugs. Just depends on where you live and your neighbors for you to know exactly which of the three you are going to get. The office staff act like they really don't care when you are expressing an issue or concern. It is okay for the price and if you have no where else to move. But I would strongly recommend you read the reviews and take heed to them. You can get more for your money at a different New Life Property location. I wouldn't say its the company as whole because there are other apartments they own that are gorgeous and all of the reviews are glowing. Its the staff at Ashton Pines. They are horrible.

My fiance and I were here in July, they had a ton of available apartments for rent, we were relocating in October/November. We called last week, they are full and on a waiting list for all of there apartments! We were so bummed out, the office staff was very helpful, told us we can still get on waiting list, we can be on it up to a year! We will hopefully get in sometime in December, we think they have new management or staff, everyone was friendly and nice, and were very honest and open with us about everything from crime/bed bugs/neighborhood info.. they seem like a good starter apartment for us.

The apartments themselves are nice, bedrooms are decent sized and the layout works well to make the space seem bigger than it is. The kitchen has very little counter space though, and the patios are not that well maintained. The staff is meh, tiffany was great but she went to a different New Life property. Big bonus with the gas/water being a flat rate, and SWCS are a step up from Columbus. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but not too terrible. Definitely keep your doors locked though. There were some breakins awhile back but that seems to have calmed down. The police presence is somewhat reassuring, they hire out to CPD to be around at night (as i learned when I was dropping off rent late one night)

My room mate and I do not live together yet but me met up and visited these apartments and they were gorgeous and very well priced. The only problem is the next day we were both covered in bug bites... From bed bugs. This was the only place she and I visited that day and like I said she and I live septa toy currently so we had to have gotten them from here for us to both get them at the same exact time.

I've been here over a year and they have now got new management or something because they are doing inspections like crazy. If I didn't have animals it wouldn't be a problem but working and them only wanting to come during the week is wearing. The neighborhood is great though and the fact that most of the utilities are included is a plus. Parking leaves something to be desired but a great starter place.

I have only been here a few months and every time I call to have something fixed (Nothing major) it gets taken care immediately. The maintenance guys are all nice and respectful. You see them always cleaning the property. The patios are a great feature so if you love having BBQs in the summer you will love these apartments cause it gives you space to have you own little oasis. The area where my apartment is located is very quite during the day and night. I've seen the police a few times drive by patrolling the place. They drive street by street and look around to see if there's anything out of place. The only down side is that the apartment walls are not very sound proof, but then again you will find that same problem practically everywhere you rent unless is a house. There have only been a couple of nice days outside and you will see a lot of kids playing, riding their bikes or just running around screaming. I would say this community is very kid friendly. The price is great, apartments are well maintained and is close to almost everything.

I've been here for three years and Im not going anywhere!!
