I love the location! Very close to my college and my job! 20 minutes to Downtown! my Pitbull loves his new apartment as well he has his own friends here aka Lexi ;-) Maintenance is quick my shower was fixed within an hour! Girls in the office are very polite ;-) I love it here
I've lived here for a while now and can say that it has been very enjoyable. Issues are fixed quickly and the people here care about your happiness. I like calling ashton home.
High Crime. Poor Management team. Drugs being sold non stop. Out dated appliances. No reception for phone use. Save your money and go elsewhere. Read all the other reviews out there..
I have lived here for 3 years now and every year I feel less and less welcome. Every year my rent is raised and every year is gets more dangerous. Let alone having a gate that was just installed and is already out of service, but when the gate was working, every time I came home, there were cars waiting to zoom into the complex behind me. And they had plenty of time to do it. One time I was taking out the garbage at about 6am, and a man with a hood over his head came charging at me, but luckily I was close enough to my car to jump in an leave. It sounds like I'm making this up and honestly I wish I was. OH and I forgot a woman was just murdered here AFTER the gate was installed...? There is also parking issues where you are forced to park unsafe distances from your car at night. Do yourself a favor and find a place that doesn't try to act like the have SOOO many "nice" features so they can raise your rent. Find a place where you feel welcome, and safe. Oh and after being 3 days late with rent FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 2 YEARS I was served with an eviction threat. Idk maybe that's the norm at other places but it made me hate this place.
POSITIVES: good location for easy access to interstate and MOST things; clean apartments; friendly office and maintenance people; safe place to live NEGATIVES: impossible to get out on hwy 78 from 4-7 pm, M-F due to commute traffic turning onto Ladson Rd.; add $50-$150 to monthly cost for Spectrum wifi/internet/cable (can NOT get any kind of reception with your cell phone regardless of your talk/text/data plan ... due to nearby power lines or "dead zone" location for telecommunications; very limited reception on TV set due to this place being in direct departure path for planes from the airport) Office staff will not be truthful about the issues with reception, but YOU HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED!
Great apartments for the money. We enjoy being so local and center of many big cities in the Charleston area.
Pros: Lots closet space 2 full bathrooms Many outlets Pretty clean Comes with microwave and dish washer ?? Cons: HORRIBLE RECEPTION Rent is a little high Maintenance SUCKS non 24/7 Rooms are longer than wide
I like the fact that it's just about close to everything. I don't have to drive all over the place everything is within a reasonable distance. It's very quiet and peaceful. It's my first time being on my own and the experience so far has been great.
