Property Ratings at Aspen Park Apartments
If I could give no stars I would, applied for an apartment in March was automatically denied (which was an error on their part), paid the $200 application fee and have yet to receive a refund. I was told could be up to 60 days to receive and here we are 60 days later no refund. They do not answer their phones or it just hangs up on you, the staff does not return emails (Aumbree). Tried calling their corporate office but no luck there either. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!!!!

Please connect with our team and we'd be happy to provide you with an update regarding your refund. Our team is sorry about the delay, but we look forward to resolving this with you. We wish you all the best with your home search! - Aspen Park Team, (303) 452-8849
When I was looking for apartments around the Denver area, I found that it was either really fancy and high priced or super run down and sketchy. I found Aspen Park to be the nice middle ground. It's a little on the older side (although the shingles on the roof seems to be fairly new) but it's not too bad, it's very doable. I also find the rent to be reasonable, only downside is parking isn't free for visitors as it is managed by a parking lot company. I saw a lot of negative reviews about safety and quality and service, but I think the majority of that must have been disgruntled people surprised about stipulations that they didn't bother reading on their leasing contract. I would say reasonably speaking, this place is the best most responsive management given the price point. Highly recommended!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and experience at Aspen Park. We're delighted to hear that you found our pricing fair and our management approachable. Our team continually strives to balance affordability, quality living conditions, and responsive service for all of us. While there may be aspects like visitor parking we need to improve on based on contract stipulations, your understanding attitude is greatly appreciated. Thank you once again for recommending us! Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve continuously while also spreading a positive word about our community!
Oh what a racket you have going on there! Sat and watched the other night as 4 cars got towed away! That is $1,000 for the tow company, how much do you guys get? Then to register your car/plates so this doesn't happen, you have to pay $17! OMG, all of this should be illegal. I know it is in the lease agreement, but the only fair thing to do would be to tell the person/people when they sign the lease about registering your vehicle and have them initial the lease by that paragraph. Talk about taking advantage of people - shame on you!!
Property Manager at Aspen Park Apartments, Responded To This Review
I'm truly sorry to hear about your frustration with our towing procedures. It's never our intention to inconvenience or surprise anyone. I want to assure you that we don't profit from any towing services; the fee is directed entirely toward maintaining a secure and orderly environment for all residents. We believe in transparency and it's important for us to explain all terms of the lease agreement, including vehicle registration, to each potential tenant before they sign off on it. Your feedback has been noted, and we will make every effort to avoid any such misunderstandings in the future.
HORRIBLE! Do not rent from these people. The staff does nothing, they brush maintenance issues under the table hoping that you just forget. Have had numerous work orders in that have never been resolved. The community director is terrible at her job and accomplishes nothing. I could get the same results talking to a wall. Avoid renting from Aspen Park at all cost! ...Also the posted hours on apartments .com are way off! Office hours are way incorrect.

We're truly sorry to hear about your negative experience with Aspen Park. We highly value our residents' comfort and satisfaction, so we are troubled to hear you had maintenance issues that were not addressed timely. We assure you that your concerns are being taken seriously and will be investigated thoroughly with our staff and community director. We also appreciate your feedback on the office hours posted on apartments.com, we will look into correcting it as swiftly as possible. Our goal is to provide the best service to all our residents and we apologize if we have fallen short of it in this instance.
It's not worth it to live here. Sure rent is cheap but your car WILL be broken into. Our car has been broken into 5 times now and the management refuses to do anything about it, they won't even put more lights up. No security guard even though for some reason guests have to pay $5 for parking past 6pm, I'd love to know where that money is supposedly going. Maintinece takes weeks. Office staff is rude. Can't wait for our lease to be over so we can stop bleeding money living here.

I'm truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you've been experiencing at our property. It's unacceptable and concerning to hear that your vehicle has been broken into multiple times without resolution. Safety is integral and we should be doing more to ensure our residents feel secure, including improving lighting and security measures. Your concerns about maintenance delays as well as the office staff rudeness have also been noted - we highly value resident satisfaction, so this feedback is important for improvement. We hope to address these issues promptly so you can enjoy a better living experience in the time that remains on your lease.
These apartments are okay if you're looking for something basic and cheap. They look a lot better online! You pay more for less. You can find other apartments near the area for the same price or cheaper with laundry in unit and parking included. Yes, their laundry rooms are regularly out of order and you have to pay for uninsured parking and one car port. But that's not all! If you would like to have company after work, say after 5 pm, they too will have to pay for parking! I thought we were living in Northglenn, not downtown... My husband and I have been here for only 6 months and we are ready for our lease to be up to move out already. I'm writing this review in hopes of preventing others from wasting their time here.

If i could give it no stars I would. We have lived here for 3 years and it is getting worse. We just found out in the beginning of the year we will need to pay for our parking spots. This will cost us an extra $30 a month. Plus if you have visitors over it will cost them $5 a day. What a joke we don't live in downtown Denver. If they are going to start nickel and diming people they need to start fixing things. Washers and dryers half of them dont work. Parking lot has pot holes all over. And they told us we had to turn our Christmas lights off at night before we left or went to bed. They don't pay my electricity bill. For paying over $1500 a month this is unacceptable. And at the end of our lease I know my rent will go up.

I lived in Seattle for 3 and a half years, so noise normally isn't an issue, but when maintenance is on the roof of your building throwing debris and talking loudly, and jumping on the roof at 5:30am on a Saturday, you wake up on the wrong side of the bed. I have put in several maintenance calls for both emergency and non-emergancy things, about 3 months ago and the still haven't been done. I had water coming in through the light fixtures everytime it would rain, and when my dishwasher was clogged and it got to the point where mold was growing in it, due to the lack of no one fixing it- I eventually did it all myself. Maintenance hasno customer service skills and are incredibly rude on the rare occasion they do show to do there job.but when they do it isn't done correctly. The office has always been rude to me, and seems to have an issue with customer service too, I mean how hard is it to say hello when you walk into the leasing office? if you love the sound of sirens speeding down the block every 45 minutes and street races at 3 in the morning, than this is the place for you. The security here is terrible, I have literally watched people steal mail right off my front door, and the first week I lived here 500$ worth of tools were stolen out of my boyfriends locked trucked, as well as I caught the their sitting inside the truck trying to hotwire it as well. There are so many other apartments that are not only cheaper but also so incredibly nicer than this place. I strongly urge you to look at a different apartment.

Living at these apartments is worth the price, cheap and non-what, but when moving out they charge you a lot of money with fees unknownly. It's not worth it, you can find a better place to live than here.

We are sorry to hear that you did not agree with your move out charges. You are always more than welcome to contact the Community Director to set up a time to review your charges. We also very much appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing from you. -Aspen Park Management
Walls and ceiling seem to be thick enough to block out most noises. it's older so of course it has its little troubles, but maintenance is usually on top of it if it's urgent, otherwise within a day or two. The grounds are relatively quiet, apart from screaming kids if you're by a park or pool, and the occasional barking dog, but that's the kind of aesthetic that comes with apartments. People generally keep to themselves unless you want the company and there's always a parking space near the back. There are three little pools set up throughout the grounds where you'll always find a small space to tan, a quaint little exercise room, and laundry facilities that whir into the quiet moonlit Colorado nights.
