Property Ratings at Aspen Ridge Apartments
Very helpful staff. Desmond the leasing consultant was very informative and professional
Properties are far from most things in Greenville and poorly maintained
What a disgusting place to live. When I moved in, I could tell what the last person had done in the toilet and spent an hour in the bathroom cleaning up hair (not from a head). The patio was filled with junk/trash from the previous renter. After two months of being told it would be cleaned, I took care of it myself. I found black mold behind the dryer, which had been making everyone sick. It took a month (at least) for anyone to look at it. Cigarette butts and dog poop litter the grass, making walking my dog miserable. Management is awful, and I have had some odd encounters with the former manager. At 11:55 am on Saturday, I went to the office to get an important package and it was closed (Sat. hours 10 am-2 pm). The internet NEVER works, which is really inconvenient for a student. My boyfriend and I are moving out 4 months early because we just cannot deal with living here any longer. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!
The management staff are very great especially Miss Jennifer she makes you feel like you are family she makes you feel like you’ve known her your entire life she goes above and beyond she will definitely help you find a solution a positive solution to any problem because she makes sure that you know that you the resident comes first she makes you feel at home she makes you feel like you are a part of her real family
When I first moved in, there were stains everywhere. Stained carpets, pee stains on the toilet, dirty walls. I put in maintenance requests and nothing happened
I have lived at the bellamy for a year now and it is worse than living in government housing in east side Atlanta. The management is lazy, the part time works act like they should be paid more, the parking is a tragedy, the gates have been broken since Clinton was in office, there is shootings and breakins every other weekend, mail is mistreated, appliances don't function without getting management involved, furniture comes scratched and torn, dog poop everywhere, mold everywhere u cant see and the office will likely be "busy" when you try to call.
They had a shooting this past weekend. Spoke with the property manager...said the occupants were immediately evicted because of drugs & firearms. When I asked about the firearm policy he responded they entire property is drug & gun free, not just the residences. Not allowed to even leave in vehicles. It is in the lease but there was no mention of this when our son moved in. So if you choose to ignore the policy, hope you never have to use a gun defensively or you're gone...which probably isn't a bad thing anyway.
I lived here for 2 years. We had roaches in our bathrooms and livingroom/kitchen area and it was so dirty I had to clean the floor before we moved in. Once we moved in everybody was missing furniture from their bedrooms, bathrooms, and living room that we were suppose to have. The dryer would never dry the first time. The security alarm never worked even when they came to "fix" it. The AC went out shortly after moving in. It was 83 inside the apartment for almost a week. The parking lot is so small and guests have to risk their car being damaged in the guestlot. The gates never worked. You have to buy your own router and even then the TV and wifi would go out everytime it rained. They never tell you this at the beginning but after you sign your lease and if you don't read it very well you have to pay for the entire 1st month and last month that you're living there even though you couldn't move in until the 15th and you have to move out on the 15th. So in all actuality you're actually paying for a whole month more while not living there. And last but not least here's what really made me hate this apartment the most. So I got in a car wreck in June and I had to move home because I broke my leg had a brain bleed and was at risk for seizures and could no longer take care of myself properly until I'm healed because I couldn't get around and if I fell I'd be screwed. So I go to my apartment and pack up my stuff. So, I was told to be out by the 30th, actually was out by the 13th, I had my room cleaned and everything. Now I'm being charged for the month of July, a late fee, and for a couple of charges of replacement for some things in the apartment that needed to be fixed which I take responsibility of. And that will be paid for but I go and try to figure out why im being charged for July and was told that it's being taken care of and it was never taken care of. I email the property manager and she said no I didn't sign any paperwork so I have to pay it anyway now. Even though she did not mention any paperwork while I was in the hospital for me to sign and the fact that I moved out at 10 o'clock at night to go 3 hours back home with a broken leg. There was no attempt to email me or anything about any paperwork. Long story short they will try to get you out of every little bit of money they can! The ONLY thing I liked about this place was a worker in the office, Howard, you're the man dude thanks for trying!!
Went to check out the apartments while I was in town. Was ready to sign a lease. Was told that they did not have the shortest term lease available but she would check on 10-month leases and call me. This is after waiting almost an hour for her to show up and she came in reeking of cigarette smoke. So I go and thinking even if I had to sign a 12 month I was set. Did not get to look anywhere else. 5:00 roles around no call so I decided to go back by. the girl in the office goes to tell her that I am there. She did not even have the decency to lie to me her self. The girl came back out of the manager's office to tell me they did not have any leases at all long or short there was nothing. So she left me hanging all day just to do this. I flew back home the next day empty-handed. Don't trust the management if they are willing to do this to me they willing do anything.
Don't fall for the walk thru of the nice apartment they show you before you sign the lease. When I moved into my apartment literally every kitchen appliance was broken in some way. My bathroom was broken for 6 weeks but one of the workers said it was a "non emergency" so I just got put on a wait list. Honestly if you hate somebody recommend to them to stay at the Bellamy
This apartment is an off campus facility that is primarily student housing. However, to my experience, this complex is inviting and comfortable with a lot of pleasurable assets. The apartment it's self is very tasteful and well kept.
