Property Ratings at Aspen Village
Horrible apartments! I only lived there because I didn't have enough credits or stable job at the time. I didn't see cockroaches when moving in at first, but then it started coming out every time when lights are out. Management not doing much about it. They kept sending their cheap pest control guys that only sprays around the corners. Stairs are dirty and smell awful. Worst part, that no one ever works in the office. Phone calls goes to a call center then leave messages to customer service but no one calls back to assist with the situation. I'm glad I moved out and I threw out all my furniture.
As someone who doesn't take reviews into account (as everyone always has a different opinion of everything), I wish I would have. I moved in here in Nov 2021. The only bug problem I've had so far is with the German cockroaches. BUT I do gotta say the property manager has been excellent with sending pest control and the bug problem went down a lot. If you enjoy smelling other people's cooking and the smell of pot 24/7, then this place is for you. Nobody ever picks up after their dog. Dog poop is always all over the parking lot. There is definitely not a workout room. There are hidden fees, like $75 extra a month for parking which is totally insane. None if the fireplaces work and you can feel the wind and rain come through them. The walls are paper thin. I hear my neighbors daily, along with their dogs that bark non stop. You can feel cold air coming outside the front door. I gave it 2 stars because I feel like every complaint I've had, the property manager has taken care of it immediately. Some of the apartments do come with a washer and dryer. I will be moving when my lease ends.
There is nothing nice about this community. The pool they advertise has been closed since 2014, there is no clubhouse, there is no fitness room there is no playground there is no dog area. What there is includes a Field full of things that will hurt you which has never seen a landscaper, many cockroaches and other insects, no office staff, no maintenance staff and that’s the good stuff. No, if you enjoy taking cold showers this may be the place of your dreams. With one 50 gallon hot water heater shared among every six apartments you’re never going to have hot water or warm water or Luke warm water… Getting the idea of how crappy this place is?
This apartment complex is infested with bugs, roaches, bed bugs spiders and flies everywhere in the apartment and also the hallway. You can't even eat in the apartment because you will see bugs, spiders and ants on the sink, crawling on the wall or on the floor. I immediately loose my appetite and I just throw my food in the trash. It doesn't matter how many times you clean and spray the whole apartment with chemical to get rid of the bugs still doesn't help. Was told will have Pest control team come and spray the apartment but still I see bugs, spiders, ants and flies. This apartment complex needs demolition and rebuild from ground up. I can't wait until my lease is up so that I can move out of this apartment.
Aspen Village has refused to fix my air conditioning within a timely manner TWICE, refused to fix my heating within a timely manner, towed my roommates car despite his sticker being clearly visible in the window, charged us back late fees over a span of several months without any sort of notification until and extra $300 was due. This place is INFESTED with roaches, bedbugs, and ants!!! I hate this place and will be leaving the moment my lease is up.
