Property Ratings at Atlas Apartments
Lived here since August 2024 and still have not gotten several items fixed even though I’ve put in several requests. I do enjoy having a shuttle, although it is always off schedule, and the dog park is nice but it needs fixing. Fences are super low and gate is broken
Love the lodge other than how inconsistent the shuttle is. I have lived here for 3 years now and I do not regret it at all. This place has a great homey vibe to it
It's good loving here. The staff are very supportive and act quick if there is a problem. The amenities are available which is great. I recommend living here.
The shower water always got cold after 5 minutes. Other things not bad. The staff are friendly. I dont really like the heating system, because my roommate doesnt like the heater on.
I’ve lived here for 3 years! Love it. Only reason I am moving is so my dogs can have a yard! The pool is my favorite amenity. There is also a gym with almost everything needed.
I have liked living here, and I love the amenities. It is a great location, and the rooms are spacious. Management comes in fairly often to check to make sure everything is working fine.
The scenery is great and it feels really cozy. I also love being able to get packages whenever I need to and the little waterfall in the pool is so cute.
The Lodge is a decent place to live. It’s affordable, close to downtown/campus, and has useful amenities. The only complaint I have are noise complaints, which can’t be helped.
The staff is incredibly supportive, always ready to assist with any needs or concerns. I particularly enjoy the organized events that foster a sense of community and provide a chance to engage with others. The accommodations are comfortable, providing a cozy and safe environment that feels like home.
Living at The Lodge of Athens has been great! The community is lively, amenities are convenient, and the shuttle makes getting to campus easy. Friendly staff and furnished rooms make it feel like home.
It's an amazing apartment complex—a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with an amazing community. The resident staff are amazing. They do a ton of events for their residents and are great people. A lot of great amenities that are getting renovated. Would highly recommend living here.
This apartment offers a comfortable and convenient living experience. The amenities provided enhance the quality of life for residents. From modern appliances to well-maintained common areas, every detail contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. Whether it's enjoying the fitness center or relaxing by the pool, residents can indulge in a variety of recreational activities. Overall, this apartment community provides a welcoming and enjoyable living environment.
Quick response and good communication. I loved living in this apartment! Bright, modern, and in a great location. Responsive management and a friendly community make it feel like home. Highly recommended!
So Far it is good, the community is clean, and the staff are helpful. There is a problem and that is the available shuttle works only unit 5:30 and doesnt work uring the summer and weekend which is not comfortable
Very great the apartment has plenty of amenities and the community is very accessible. Gym access is great and convenient for me. Parking and mail is also good
The experience has been fine. A few struggles when first moving in but maintenance has sorted most of them out. We do have fruit flies or gnats in our apartment, and see a fair number of roaches. Also have had two amazon packages say delivered but weren't in mailroom or mailbox.
It’s nice, can’t complain. It’s some really nice amenities here. I’ve had to request maintenance a few times but other than that I like being here. It’s c nice
love the place, area, and staff! everyone is welcoming and surprisingly not very loud here either. 10/10 would recommend others to live here! i also love how close it is to everything especially downtown athens
I have lived here for a month and so far mostly a good experience. My roommate and I like the layout of our apartment a lot, and the staff has been very kind. The only problems we have experienced are a lot of things needing to be fixed, and renovations not being done. It seems the lodge is doing the best they can to get everything done though. Overall definitely one of my favorite places I’ve lived.
Great complex. Great amenities and great maintenance services. Feels safe with the gated entrance. Parking is nice and lawns are kept up with weekly.
Upon my arrival, my apartment's kitchen was filthy. A bunch of black bananas were left on the counter, there was milk and eggs in the fridge from February. All of the cabinets were full of the previous tenant's belongings. The fridge and microwave were disgusting. Within one month of living here, my dryer broke and maintenance has taken over two weeks to fix it, and it still is not fixed. On move in day, I was not given a mailbox key, and when I went to the office to ask for a new one, they gave me two keys that both do not open my mailbox. The shuttle only holds 36 residents, which means that residents often have to get turned away. I will note: the shuttle drivers are kind and dedicated to doing what they can to get residents where they need to go. I would not recommend living at Lodge of Athens. The price is far too high for the quality of the living experience I've received in just my first month as a resident.
The trash rooms are so far, and there are many ants on the first floor. Also it’s hard to get the packages because they can’t be delivered to door.
The soundproofing of the house is very poor, but the other apartment facilities are OK. If you have poor sleep quality, I don't recommend this place. However, the people in the apartment are very nice. You must choose the highest level of maintenance. I have chosen the ordinary level so far, and no one has come to repair it for me.
I have been dealing with an ongoing issue regarding my laundry room, which has yet to be fully completed. One of the main concerns is that the doors for the laundry area are still missing, and this has caused some inconvenience. Without the doors, the space feels incomplete, and it’s been a constant reminder that the project is not fully done. These doors are essential to maintain a neat and tidy appearance, and their absence impacts the overall functionality of the laundry room. I have been patiently waiting for them to be installed, but the delay is becoming increasingly frustrating. Having the doors in place would allow me to close off the space and keep everything organized and concealed, which is important for the overall look of my home. I hope this issue can be resolved soon so I can fully utilize the laundry room.
I think the Lodge is overall okay, a lot of things were wrong when we moved in like our front door key didn’t work, my toilet was leaking for the first few days. The maintenance did eventually come a deficit everything but after the first week or so, they have not been responsive and are very slow to come fix things.
Every apartment comes has its highs and lows. Despite all the issues I've run into while living here, the staff at the lodge has been able to find a way to help me out. It's not a bad place to live when you're first getting started out in the real world. There's a decent community, great places to walk your dog, and it has a convenient location where you're 6 minutes from downtown and from the inner loop.
The complex was still actively being renovated as we were moving in. A lot of promised amenities have yet to come fruition. The apartment itself is fine, the shuttle is convenient, and the community is nice. It’s also useful to have a bus stop right outside. Just ask around and do research b/c my overall experience hasn’t been what I thought it was going to be.
Idrk what I’m doing but it seems like an easy way to get things done. I’m still not sure how I’ll be able to use my money but it’s still an pretty easy way to get your money
Overall everything has been okay, I wish there had been more communication during the move in process. We also don’t have a light switch cover on one of our switches, still have the wrong chair in our living room (I think?), my roommates toilet isn’t secured to the floor, and our garbage disposal doesn’t work anymore.
"Love living at my apartment complex! Great amenities, friendly staff, and a perfect location. It truly feels like home!" It is always fun and full of happiness!
I love the renovations! The apartment looks sleek and it’s definitely worth the price. It’s very close to UGA and Athens Tech which makes commuting easy. The community itself is secure, quiet, and cozy. The property manager is amazing and always willing to help!
The bedroom and barroom were really dirty. It was very frustrating and I had to clean by myself first and after that I had to buy a new mattress
This is my third year living here! Staff is friendly and helpful. Very close to campus and there is a shuttle to take you to and from campus.
The pool and everything are nice but my apartment has been disgusting ever since I moved in. It was never cleaned before I got here and there is build up and mold in my bathroom.
I feel like the Lodge is really underrated. In my two years of being at the Lodge, I've really enjoyed it here and I think the outside of the nice facility the staff make it really enjoyable/easy to live here. Would recommend 10/10 :)
Overall, living here has been such a great experience! Move-in day was slightly stressful and hard to deal with because of problems with the apartment, but despite those issues, I have loved living here!
super easy and fast to move in! all the staff were very nice and friendly! my neighbors seem to be really nice and helped me move into my apartment!
The lack of elevator isn't nice and the kitchen is a bit too small for 2 people, but the bedrooms amd bathroom are fantastic!!! Took forever to move in since I wasn't able to take the weekend to do it because the move in date was pushed behind and classes start tomorrow. But excited for new experiences here
Overall, a good option for student renters. The Lodge is generally clean and quiet, and is located a convenient distance from campus. Amenities are slowly becoming nicer, but with that comes a pretty dramatic increase in rent cost within the last three years. Management is pretty accessible if you have any issues. However, it can sometimes take weeks for maintenance issues to be addressed, and if the solution is not obvious the issue is usually just left for you to deal with. When I first moved in, there was a bad case of fleas throughout the apartment (but especially in my bedroom), but they quickly agreed to treat the infestation and when that didn’t work, to replace the carpet throughout the apartment.
Overall, The Lodge is a good place to live. They recently changed management and the staff have been much more responsive to complaints and concerns. Furthermore, since the transition they have worked on the exteriors of all buildings and have begun renovations on the interiors for some buildings. The amenities are great, and for a college apartment complex, it's pretty quiet.
The lodge is very accommodating and convenient for students who want to love closer to campus without paying a crazy amount of money for rent. The massive parking lot is also an upgrade from my previous complex which is really nice.
I recently had the pleasure of navigating the process of accessing a new apartment, and I must say, the experience was remarkably smooth and efficient. From initial inquiry to move-in day, every step was handled with professionalism and clarity. The process began with an online search through a reputable real estate platform, where I found a listing that caught my eye—a modern one-bedroom apartment in a bustling urban area. The listing provided detailed photos and descriptions, which gave me a clear idea of what to expect. After expressing interest through the platform, I quickly received a response from the property management team. They were prompt and courteous, scheduling a virtual tour at my convenience. During the tour, the agent showcased the apartment thoroughly, addressing all my questions about amenities, lease terms, and neighborhood features.
I am a new resident but looking at the community when I did an in-person tour was a great experience. I can see myself living here. The most important aspect was security, I saw there is a 24-hour police patrolling. This creates a safer environment to live in.
Decent place to live when first moving to Athens. Quality of life has been consistent and utilities work as intended. Recommend to people moving to Athens for the first time and want a little more personal space than what 4 bedroom apartments provide
I have yet to live here but the staff is so kind and helpful! The apartments look beautiful, the main furniture is included, and I’m so excited to move in!
All the workers was very sweet & thorough when it came to showing me the apartment and all the appliances. When filling out the paperwork and I needed help the workers was always there to assist me when needed.
I think that the staff needs to communicate more. The kitchen felt really old but they are redoing some apartments so its ok. The pool is always closed so they should just stop advertising that.
I like it here better than having to move all my things to a new place. Gym is pretty goof, and pool is nice when it is open. Maintenance is fast and usually pretty nice.
Living in my apartment complex is great! The community here is wonderful, with friendly neighbors and a welcoming atmosphere. The amenities are fantastic, from the pool and fitness center to the communal spaces like the lounge and outdoor grilling areas. Maintenance is always prompt and efficient, making sure everything is in top condition. Plus, the location is perfect, close to shopping, dining, and entertainment. I really feel at home here!
Love living here. The parking can be annoying at times due to too many ppl. The pool is nice and there’s a shuttle to take you to and from campus
