Ogden is a neighborhood located about seven miles northeast of Downtown Vancouver. Similar to other Washington neighborhoods, Ogden is wooded with several parks and tree-lined streets. The Royal Oaks Country Club in the northern corner of the neighborhood provides a beautiful backdrop to several homes while Meadowbrook Marsh Park is great for jogging and bike riding. We love living here! We have been here for 5 years now and it is my favorite complex I've lived in by FAR! Maintenance is speedy and knowledgeable, Juan is AWESOME!! The staff in the office are friendly. The complex is clean and I feel safe here! Couldn't recommend this property enough!

I have heard about at least 4 vehicle thefts occurring in the last six months, and at least 1 attempted but unsuccessful theft (mine, I was the lucky one!). Management does not care at all despite it becoming a massive issue. They claimed when I was touring that there was security patrol at night which I have never seen and I assume this is a lie. The garages cost $125 and for a lot of people is too much of an expense on top of the rent to protect their vehicle where management fails. As for the units, if you are not renting an (overpriced) renovated unit, the unrenovated units are still overpriced and also falling apart. I cannot contact maintenance to fix things because they do not pay attention to the days I list as not being available because my dog will be home alone. They've also lost my requests in the past, which makes figuring out whether they're just busy or if they lost the request difficult to figure out. This is a nice complex to own a dog in with all the well maintained lawns, although so many people don't pick up after their dogs that you have to really pay attention to where you step. This complex would be 3 or 4 stars if it weren't for the glaring vehicle theft problem, and it would also be a relatively easy problem to fix for management

New company is horrible! Used to be a cheap, clean and unproblematic place to live before it was bought out by some San Francisco firm. New staff does not respond in a timely manner, maintenance staff is unprofessional. Rent has been been increased over 30% by new company while rights and amenities have been stripped away. Per the the leases we are no longer allowed to have a BBQ grill, no longer allowed to use our storage garages for personal storage (cars only), many dogs are now added to the restricted list and we now have to pay a bunch of extra common area bills, such as common area exterior lighting and pest control. Trash area is always unusable due to piles of trash and people digging for cans. New leases also make you sign a waiver saying you won't join a class action lawsuit against the company.... Sketchy! Stay away if you want a cheap, clean place to live.

Don’t let the renovated apartments fool you. New management did the bare minimum to those apartments and are charging you way too much for it. They don’t care about how messy and filthy the area is and do nothing about the concerns you bring up to them. Save yourself money and a headache and rent somewhere else.

I like it here, i moved into a brand new renovated unit and its beautiful! new managment is so easy and pleasent to work with... before they were a little less than organized. maintenance is great! very prompt. only complaint is........ ha! gotcha-- nothing!

So I thought I would write a review on my experience so far. We are just moving into this complex so my thoughts so far will be on first impressions. First off I will say that the office staff has been super friendly and helpful. We rented our apartment sight unseen as they only had one left and it was not ready to be shown as there was a resident moving out that had lived there so long they were putting in brand new carpet and flooring. I would also like to point out that while doing a walk through of another similar apartment with one of the maintenance guys, I had commented on the shelves inside the "pantry" being really small and asked if I could put in bigger ones that allowed more space. Come to find out they put in bigger ones for us before we even moved in! That really impressed me that not only was he listening but took the initiative to do something extra to make our move in more comfortable. I grew up in this area, so I know that it is a fairly quiet area. Its nice that our apartment had brand new carpet, updated flooring, and a new refrigerator, but as with all apartments the prices are going up. This was the second cheapest apartment we could find in Vancouver that allowed animals. We went with these ones because the other complex only had washer and dryer hookups and these and them already in the unit which was nice. I will say it is a little disappointing that all other appliances including washer and dryer look like they are from the 60's, but as long as they work I don't care. Parking is terrible here. You get one assigned space but with a two bedroom you have to assume most people have at least two vehicles. So the second vehicle everyone owns has to fight over maybe 10 extra parking spaces on the complex. This will most likely mean I have to park my truck in the street, liable to damage and theft (which the complex does not cover, and security cannot patrol as its on public streets). There is also ZERO visitor parking leaving visitors to park on the street. Also would like to note that this website advertises "Air Conditioning" which the apartments DO NOT have, the clubhouse does but that's it. They also do not allow window air conditioners which will mean we have to spend more money buying a new unit. Overall so far I have been satisfied with this complex for what it is, Lower rent makes up for the few things they lack. I will update my review as we spend more time in our new community.
The apartments are nice but some things are out dated like the appliances. They just keep fixing the same ones and replacing. It would be nice to have alliances that worked without issues every other month. Nice place to live, quiet and management is kind.
I have lived here for about 6 months and I enjoy my spacious one bedroom layout. I am a full-time graduate student and it was nice to find a place that accepted financial aid as income. Also they offered a cheaper deposit option. Its a mix of singles, couples and family. I rarely hear my neighbors and they two little children. I would strongly recommend these apartments for people who are on a budget and need a nice, safe, and clean apartment to live.
$1015 plus sewer, water, trash and electric to be paid on a 720sqft one bedroom apartment. I would love to do more then work strictly to pay rent, take a few American Sign Language classes or decorate my apartment. PLEASE HELP I'm just a small town Wisconsin girl trying to make it in Vancouver.
Lived her for two years and no major problems. The parking was horrible if you didnt have an assigned spot or more than one car. The neighbor kids were loud some of the time. Running around in the parking lot screaming at other kids. Overall a good place to live. Management was good about repairs and the interior and exterior was in good shape. It was a good surrounding neighborhood was good also.
I rated this apartment a 3/5. I will list Pros and cons. Pros: I feel safe at this apartment complex. The office staff has always been nice to us. Maintenance is prompt with any issues we have had like : replacing a door, replacing the washer, looking at plumbing. The kitchen is a great layout, better than most. There is a good amount of storage. I can't hear my neighbors through the walls. The insulation is great. We have yet to use the heater. In the winter it never gets too cold. The grounds are kept neat. The lawn guys come every week. Rent is a good price. It is going up, but it is still affordable, while other places prices are ridiculous. Cons: There is black mold that grows because of the area the building was built. Very very wet. We bought a dehumidifier though, and have not had any since. The mail. There is not place to lock up packages, so they get dropped off at the office, which is an annoyance. We have also lost multiple packages that have been sent to us. This is not the fault of the office staff, I just have never lost so much mail before. Kids. There are a lot of kids at this complex, which is fine, but they are loud! We live right by the pool and playground and it is loud all day until 9-10pm. The appliances are all very outdated. They work, they just are not new at all.
I was highly interested in this community & although there is a waiting list-the staff were kind enough to give a description of the property. I would like to tour the property sometime in the future.
