Developed on the site of an old dairy farm in the 1950s, Crestview offers a fascinating blend of old and new. The mid-century ranch homes and bungalows are being met with sleek, modern apartment buildings, offices, and the mixed-use development Midtown Commons. One of the landmarks in Crestview is the Wall of Welcome, a mosaic that stretches 120 feet along Woodrow Avenue.
While Crestview maintains its close-knit, suburban atmosphere, it is increasing in popularity due to its great location and the available mass transit. The Crestview Station is on the Red Line of the Capital MetroRail, and it also provides premium bus service by Capital MetroRapid. Crestview is located between Burnet Road and North Lamar Boulevard, extending from West Anderson Lane south to Justin Lane. It is roughly seven miles northeast of Downtown Austin.

Property Ratings at ATX North
If you can't afford to move anywhere else i guess this property will do but try to look elsewhere. I was ready to move out the moment I moved in. I made the mistake of not making time to see the property in person as I was moving from a different state and trusted that the pictures were what the property actually looked like. Big mistake. Take a tour of the property prior to signing the lease. Walls are very thin; you can hear EVERYTHING going on the other side of the wall. Units are very old, and you can tell if you look closely at things. There is a bug issue, but nothing too severe if you don't mind a cockroach here and there. Since I moved in, I had an issue with the shower, water turns from very hot to very cold throughout the duration of your shower, if you enjoy your showers, do not move here. Previous management told me there was nothing they could do about this issue as there is only one water heater for the entire property and that is how it works, which I did not buy. Property is dirty and laundry rooms are dirtier. Washer and dryers are always broken, and residents do not clean up after themselves. Overall, I did not renew my lease and would not recommend this place to anyone I care about that is moving to Austin or looking for a new place to live. Look elsewhere. I found a much nicer community, brand new, and cheaper than what I was paying. Just look around there is much better. I was being generous giving this property 2 stars. Probably the only perk I can think of is that there is a gym right across the street, hours aren't the best, but you can literally walk to the gym.
This apartment was a GODSEND... before they changed management. These apartments are tiny, the laundry facilities are unreliable and expensive, they never fix things when you put in requests, and they don't contact you about the things you need to know. It took them nearly a week to send me a copy of my lease after realizing they took away my ability to see it on the app. There is no split pay available on the app either so you end up trying to get roommates to send you rent and you lose money in the transfers. They make promises they don't keep (ex. I moved into this apartment in June and I still don't have a closet door OR a ceiling fan in the bedroom AND the fans in the livingroom are on remote controls that simply Do Not Work.) They also don't fix things, if anything they make things Worse. More examples of things that just Suck here that they have yet to fix include, my front door doesn't latch unless it's locked, the entire apartment is painted in primer meaning that it's peeling in the humidity, they CONSTANTLY shut off the water with little to no warning, they don't answer emails, the appliances are either falling off the walls or severely damaged from malfunctioning repeatedly. The past reviews are old but they are not wrong. DO NOT MOVE HERE IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR ALLEGED CONVENIENCE.
Unbelievable what these people call acceptable living conditions. Front door inoperable combined with an oven that will not regulate creating a SERIOUS safety hazard!!! 1960's Air conditioning unit runs all day to produce a unit that over 84*. Cockroaches abound!!! In spite of numerous notifications of the deplorable conditions, the owners and management refused to address and remedy these situations. Nice, remodeled leasing office, though.

These guys have so many great things going on right now and the place is really coming together well! The office staff is super friendly and attentive. The new manager has been quick to respond with any issue I have and is just all around super friendly and nice. Excited about the parking issues being addressed as well as the new patrol service we have now. I was considering moving at the end of my lease term but I've decided to stay and watch the progress unfold. I know some people might have had bad experiences and it's easy to focus on the negative but I would recommend this place for sure!! There are just so many positive changes that I'm noticing in such a short amount of time that I know it's only going to get better here.

Its like a trailer park Melrose place with everyone drinking cheap beers and creating problems for no valid reason. Its horrible and I don't belong here at all. I didn't want to move here but had no choice financially. Its a nightmare. I need a quite place to live. I'm disabled and this place antagonizes my issues I'm facing mentally and physically. Not recommended at all.
