Property Ratings at Auburn Hills Apartments
These apartments look really nice and I have heard good things about the area. I tried calling this apartment complex multiple times with no luck in getting a hold of anyone to find out information on renting an apartment. I left a voicemail three different times, each about a week apart, but no one ever called me back. I also tried calling them a few times between my voicemails but with no luck. It's too bad because these apartments look nice. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case you were thinking of renting here.
When we moved-in during December 2019, The apartment was extremely dirty in terms of carpet & bathroom. We also have the proof of all photos we took on our first day of move-in, in a so-called fresh apartment. So we clearly mentioned in the move-in checklist "CARPETS ARE OLD AND LOOKS DIRTY & UNCLEAN", Kate neither take any action on that nor responded. Now when we moved-out in November 2021, She charged us 250$ for the CARPET REPLACEMENT. We contacted her via email, and no response. So when you move-out, BEWARE of these guys for the unnecessary charges they put on you which you are NOT RESPONSIBLE for. If I had the option to upload the pictures of the condition of bathtub, bathroom sink faucets when we got the apartment newly, I would have posted here.
We have lived here for two years. Management is kind and responsive to our questions and needs. Maintenance is prompt and issues are resolved without a hassle. It has a great neighborhood feel with lots of families. The apartment is not fancy, but it has met all our needs. Overall, highly recommend!
You will be pay a more than you should for an old 60's apartment with lots of issues & have to put up with surrounding noisy transient tenants (no soundproofing & the outer door slams 50 times per day). The dismal view is of another apartment building. They will keep your security deposit for unjust reasons. Old noisy, rusty, plumbing. Management not responsive to your concerns. Carpeting poor quality-- smelled like plastic. Laundry machines in basement small (must have quarters)and did not work some of the time. Winter snow/ ice maintenance not too great, grass shabby, there are better choices in the area. Pool/tennis/pets(cats)/carport extra fees apply.
They loot your deposit giving the most absurd reasons.
Good place to live, multi-racial, many Churches in area, Oakland University, Great Lakes Outlet Mall, near the City of Pontiac and Rochester Hills.
The office staff are always willing to help when a problem occurs. Maintenance has always been taken care of within a business day. Not too many noise related problems in the community. Just the rare Saturday night party.
