Property Ratings at Aura 240
First of all these reviews are fake - no one that has ever lived here would give this place 4 stars. Residents treat the building like a dorm (loud music, parties, etc). Property Managers changed 4 times in ONE YEAR, constant ceiling leaks and random policies from an incompetent staff. ITS A MESS!
Do not waste your money renting here! In the beginning it was nice but the finishes in the apt appear nice but are cheap. They are from IKEA! Hot water constantly out and they seem to be letting anyone move in. But nobody stays. Elevator constantly breaks down or they have to shut it down due to water leaking from the roof into the elevator shaft. Good luck if you live in the 15th floor!Management was great in the beginning but constantly an overturn of people in charge. If you see a great review it is people from management or their family because there is no way this place can get a great review. Maintenence is a joke they do not know what they are doing.Security is helpful and they do their job.Unless you have money to waste or don't care about where you live don't bother renting here!
Ive been a tenant for over 5 years. Ive seen many changes with management etc. The new management Mr.Tamer and Ahmed ,security department has been immaculate. The building is always CLEAN. ANy request is taken care of in 24hrs. Management takes very good care of the tenants. It is a very safe environment. This is why i will never leave the building. THANK you
Living at Aura 240 has been the worst decision in my entire life. The finish quality are terrible, range broke 3 times, shower head is clogged and moldy, the fire alarm goes off every month and the building has to be evacuated each time. Aside from the negative aspects of living in this building the property manager (TAMER) is very responsive and accommodating for any issue we have had. The security personnel in the building are very friendly as well. The owner for the building clearly doesn’t care about the tenants in the building. The hot water has shutoff countless times through out the cold winter months without notice. The landlord claims that he fixed the water heater but it clearly has never been fixed because the hot water kept getting turned off. I have spoken to several tenants in the building and they have the same issue and they can’t wait to move out. Do yourself a Favor and don’t live at AURA 240 or any property owned by Blackstone company.
I have been here for a year. Moving ASAP! No hot water, management is the worst, they let anyone in, can't sleep because it's fighting over my head all night long. The crackheads that live next door fight also all day and night. You can hear straight into other people's apartments. You have no privacy!!!! None!!! Apartments are not well maintained. Building smell like a sewer! They need new management bad. They fired the doormen which all where very nice and helpful. To higher a security company that do nothing but act like flashlight cops!!! The worst! They are not good people! They don't help with anything and sit all day! This building needs a total redo!!!
I been living here for almost a year. The apartment is nice at first glance but to get anything fixed takes weeks. My living room floor was filling up with water for over a month before anyone came to fix. My windows do not open in my apartment. No hot water so get use to cold showers. The management team seem to push everything off on to the next person. I believe the hired anyone for security because beside not being in uniform they do not know anything. They let anyone in and out of the building without signing in. I purchased 2 parking space and someone always in my spot and I have to wait for police to ticket and the tow company only open between 9-5pm. The equipment in the exercise room does not work and do not get me started on the elevators. this place is a joke and price to high if you ask me.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to move into any of BlackStone properties. They have nice looking buildings, but VERY POOR management and staff who doesn't have a clue about they're job title. I lived here for a year and had so many issues from broken elevators, maintenance request unanswered for weeks, no HOT WATER and the list goes on. The on site manager feeds you lies after lies always passing the blame onto another person. The building is not well maintained, they have one cleaning guy who barely does a decent job with the building. No machine works in the GYM. I asked when are they fixing any of the treadmills the manager says the guy want to much money for the work but with all the money were paying this should be included in our amenities. To top it off when i moved out i didn't received my security deposit back until 3 months after I moved out when i was told it would take only 30 days! Aura has nice looking apartments and all utilities included which is a plus only reason i gave it one star!!!

I have lived in my building for almost a year and I have no complaints. This is a modern-contemporary apartment. The apartment has all stainless steal appliances with a washer and dryer. The soundproof in the apartments is excellent. We haven't had any major problems since we have lived here. The maintenance is excellence should you have any complaints. There is a park within walking distance and being a parent, I find that very convenient. The NJ transit is about a 10 min walk which is perfect anytime you would like to go to NYC , which is about a 30 min train ride. There is an international food market within walking distance as well. We have a gated parking area and there are security cameras in the parking area and in the building. You need a magnetic key in order to enter the building. If you have a family this is a great place for starters if you plan on buying a house later. East Orange is up and coming. Of course there is much more to this apartment, you would have to come see for yourself. If you want a NYC lifestyle with more space and an affordable cost, this is the place for you.
The Aura 240 is a luxury apartment complex in the up and coming area of East Orange, NJ. I have lived here for 1 year and I have no complaints! The complex is secure with a welcoming doorman and keypad for resident entrance and centrally located around stores (shopping, small restaurants, groceries stores, etc), parks and public transportation. Besides the view, and the location I absolutely love the fact that the apartment is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the NJ transit to enter into the city (which works for me because I work in the city). The spacious apartment is completely modernized and includes a washer/dryer, & stainless steel appliances, large windows, glass sliding doors and walk in closets in the master bedrooms (just naming a few perks). If you ever have an issue within your apartment, maintenance provides fast and speedy service. The common area which includes a pool table, separate sitting areas and flat screen TVs, is a great place for hosting get togethers. Not to mention, for those who are exercise enthusiasts, the apartment complex includes a small workout center (or if you would rather enjoy exercising in the fresh air the South Orange Park is located right across the street). Gated parking is available in the back of the complex. This is a great apartment if you want to feel as if you are living the New York City lifestyle for an affordable price!
