The people that work in the front office are the most rude and unhelpful people I have ever experienced. They will try to take as much money as they possibly can from you. I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment after normal business hours one time and it took them 3 hours to come let me in. I literally called every 30 minutes and every time they said "someone is on their way". Worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life.

Do not live here. I could write a novel full of all the terrible experiences we had at this complex between the staff and the rodent population. It is hands down the worst apartment complex I've ever been to, or lived in. The office staff are the worst kind of people, I genuinely do not understand how they got positions in customer service. It's cheap for a reason. And not worth it, even a little. Please, for your health, sanity, and quality of life, do not live here.

At first they very nice but as soon as you pay them their attitude change . they’re VERY very rude and mean . Also they always come up with these extra fees to make you pay for no reason and they’re not giving you anything in return . also you can hear your neighbors conversations because the wall are thin. Don’t waste your money and effort on them ,the last thing you want to deal after long of work is bad Landerlourd. Also This place is dirty and full of huge rats during the winter . Do your self a favor and look somewhere else.

I can’t emphasized the hatred I have for this RODENT INFESTED apartment complex. Starting with the front office staff, always unprofessional, rude and it seems like they dislike their jobs. Worst customer service ever! Always have an attitude. The “fitness center” Is just a small room right next to the leasing office with a treadmill in it. During the winter the RATS become an even bigger issue that this apartment complex continues to fails to address. When it gets cold outside the RODENTS want to come inside, where it is warm and they will chew through the poor built walls and insulation to make this happen. All maintenance is going to do is fill the hole with spray foam. I could hear the RATS (emphasizes on the fact that it’s plural) at night running and jumping inside the oven. Sign with them if you wish to waste your hard earned money.

Turn back now. Don't get sucked in by the pricing. The management is not on your side, they do not provide any customer service, and are hands down the laziest bunch of people I've ever had to deal with. The apartments are cheap and dirty, and everything will break at least once within 6 months. The patio doors all need to be replaced (they are original to the building), there's no storage space, and you cannot fit the furniture you need for a somewhat comfortable lifestyle in any of these apartments. Just pay the extra $100 bucks a month and live at any of the other apartments in the area. I could type out every horrible experience I've had with the management at this place, but it would be a novel. Just to give you a hint of what they are like, the property manager called me a liar directly to my face after interrogating me for 20 minutes about how she was proving that I was a liar, which I am not, was not, and have never been. If you are living with your partner, spouse, or family, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE PLEASE FOR THE HEALTH OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP AND YOUR OWN SANITY. It is a depressing place to live. They have electrical issues as well that will cost you so much money in light bulbs every single month. because the building's are so old. Only half of the outlets work, and the one's that do will blow your lamps out to no repair. The water pressure is so bad in the kitchens, when you turn the faucet on, the water sprays all over the counters and floors. They have rodent issues that they continually fail to address, and the exterior walls are paper thin so good luck sleeping past 5am. Please, do not give these people your hard earned money. Heed my advice, and go somewhere else.
Located a mere 3 mi. away from Texas State, the rates are really cheap for better-than-average conditions. Newly renovated, pet friendly and quiet. Small personal yard for plants, large fenced patios downstairs and sliding glass doors in master room upstairs. On main bus route for both TXState and CARTS, making it convenient for both students and families. Two pools, volleyball pit, several BBQ pits throughout, basic exercise room with TV and friendly staff. Water added to rent. Electricity, internet & cable not included, but Grande offers great local service. Have lived here 5 years and always get great discount for early renewal. Closest you'll feel to living in a house without having to make the repairs yourself.
One of the cheapest places in San Marcos for above-average conditions. One and two bedroom town homes. Pet friendly. Great for college students: quiet environment, close to Walmart and HEB, and two bus stops (one of the first stops for Texas State University tram and CARTS bus). Water is added to monthly rent, but electricity, TV, and internet are not included. Almost always having some kind of rent discount special when signing for a lease, so take advantage.
