Situated just over three miles northwest of Downtown Minneapolis, Glenwood Junction consistently ranks as one of the best suburbs in Minneapolis. There’s a diverse renter population here, including families, students, commuting professionals, and everyone in between. Residents praise the area for its attractive streets, lush landscape, nearby parks, and top-notch schools.
There’s a modest selection of restaurants, shopping centers, and entertainment options scattered around the neighborhood, the bulk of which you’ll find along Highway 55. But the main calling card of Glenwood Junction is Theodore Wirth Regional Park, and the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden. Both green spaces give the area a lush feel and make it a welcome escape from the city that lies just a few minutes away.

Property Ratings at Autumn Ridge Apartments
This was my first apartment I stayed here 8 years over the years it got filthy they don't wanna fix anything here they have bugs roaches and mice like crazy the leasing office is so unprofessional with your file they don't care to help you or keep up with anything they filed about you to give you notice on anything trust me If your looking for a nice peaceful helpful environment this IS NOT THE PLACEEEE !!!
I lived here for 3 years. I literally had mice living in my unit due to the apartment complex not taking care of the maintenance. They will charge you high rent without fixing issues to end up leaving you owing them money once you decide to end your lease due to health issues. You can be the cleanest tenant and still deal with loads of mice in and out of your unit as well as roaches being EVERYWHERE!! This is no where you would want to rent at. They need to lower the rent and honestly refund everyone who lived here in the past 8 years. Its not fair and now im in dept due to me owing them knowing the unit was not properly cleaned or maintained. Im very upset...
My very first apartment and i had to get a cat to keep away the mice. The property management are not helpful at all and not a good enviorment for kids.
Only good if you like roaches and constant loud neighbors. If you are alright with that then this place is decent.
I would have given a zero, 1 is the lowest we can give. They don't care about their tenants at all. The light bill was to be paid by the apartment complex and they have now sent my daughter a bill for over $1000 saying that the light bill was not paid. They don't fix anything in the apartments. The have bugs and mice. Please don't move in this building if you can help it, because they will treat you like dirt.
If you live or lived on first floor I’m pretty sure your going to experience ants or roaches or mice and they won’t go away I’ve called maintenance a lot of times to get rid of it and when they came to “fix” the problem it became way worst they were crawling on our ceiling and I’m my bathrooms cabinets and my living room walls and on my bedroom walls I’m very happy I’ve never seen nothing on my bed I thank god for that.Otherwise please don’t consider this place it’s really bad.
Ive lived at Autumn ridge since October 2018 and I have to say my experience has been fairly well. Ive never had any mice, or any type of roaches or insects. My neighbors in my building, are pretty respectful and I've never had any problems with anyone. My 3 complaints however though are 1. The noise of outside neighbors from different buildings can be loud during late hours. 2. It is entirely too hard to get in touch with the leasing office by phone. If you need assistance Id suggest to walk into the office and speak with someone. 3. In order to do laundry you have to load a laundry card in the leasing office and if youre like any one else you probably dont leave work until about 4-5p but the leasing office closes at 4:30 M-Fr and they are not open on weekends so doing laundry here can be tough. Other than that I love my apartment, its plenty of storage space, the bedrooms are quite roomy and spacious and they try their best to keep the hallways clean. (People do intentionally try to destroy this building but maintenance usually fixes the repairs within the next day or two).

Where do I start??? From the work orders not being responded to for months to the rent raising $100! How about I start on my first day moving in... The first night moving in was a typical move on. My wife, 2kids and I were 1st best satisfied. It was many things wrong with the adjustment that needed to be fixed but the one thing that made us want to get out of our lease the very first night was 3 mice running around corner to corner. THE VERY FIRST NIGHT! The building is invested with mice! I have seen them literally everywhere to the point where they running around in the day time right in the middle of your living room. Management had the pest control people come to our apartment about every week for the first few months, noticing that they were useless I started asking for the sticky traps they provide...**BEST BET** I alone caught 10 mice in the open with these and another3-5 under my oven and fridge. ( NO EXAGGERATION) Management is horrible so don't expect any help from them. They also feel like enemies for some reason. They give off that vibe. And PARKING is absolutely horrible! 2 visitors parking spots to every building! If that! My company's cars Gabe been towed in the matter of seconds! My car... Was towed for being parked in visitors parking! My car! A paying tenant. They are money hungry. I give half a star to the apartment for the size of my apartment. Please save yourself the trouble.

Autumn Ridge Apartments are probably the worst apartment complex in Minnesota they treat their tenants very poorly they do not keep up with maintenance in the building they do not clean the building they do not repair anything you asked for and the office staff is rude and disgusting towards their tenants. They will up your rent without making any changes or upgrades to your apartment. Your guest have nowhere to park and they don't even allow you to have a guest pass after hours because they decided that they want their office to run from 9 AM to 6 PM which any normal human works those hours. And then they refused open on weekends I don't recommend anyone moves here is the worst mistake I have ever made I'm building my credit so that I can move into a real apartment complex that treats people better! Don't do it! And I only put 1 star because negative isn't an option. They suck

The price is okay, I actually have one of the bigger two bedrooms (900 sq ft) which is the same price as all the others so that's good. This renovation they claimed they did was not done to all the apartments, things are outdated, old doors cabinets. Did I mention they have a huge pest and bug problem. It's ridiculous, can't wait for my lease to be up.

Living here at Autumn Ridge it was my very first apartment. I moved in November of 2014. At first I loved it from the outside looking in this place was perfect and affordable. But shortly after I moved in I started to notice things I didn't realize due to my excitement. The grounds weren't kept up garbage was all over the parking lot and grass even in the apartment hallways. The grounds keeper does a poor job. Dead bug left on the walks in hallways along with beer cans and cigar wrappers. The carpet has stench from garabage being left sitting in the hallway too long. Marijuana wanna smoke constantly fills the hallways even after it was brought to management, and the police are constantly here. This apartment does have a roach and mice problem. Despite the fact of keeping my apartment squeaky clean you still see them. They are partnered with an exterminator called Bug Busters but they have been know to steal out of people's apartments when they are not present. I have experienced this first hand. The upside of this location is that it is in a nice neighborhood and is fairly quiet, despite your surrounding apartment tenants. It is Close to the main highways 169, I-94, and I-694. The office will work with you on rent if you may be short at times. My lease is almost up here I do not plan on renewing it for this is not what I had planned for my first apartment. But you be the judge...

Autumn ridge apartments is a fairly old building with lots of updates needed. Lots of families with children of all ages. New Dog park for the pet owners and it's in a good location regarding shopping malls, schools and public transportation. There is onsite laundry service but unfortunately it's not 24hours. The maintenance could be better and there could be more visitor parking available for tenants guest.

I REALLY WISH - THE RENT COULD BE LOWERED , GIVING THE MANY REPAIRS NEEDED. BUT ITS OKAY.

At first, when we found a 2 bedroom apartment for only 850/month we thought it was too good to be true. But after we looked at it, it seemed very real that we were going to get a decent apartment for an amazing price! We heard bad things about the management but we ignored it assuming we wouldn't need to interact with them too much since we were always good with paying our rent on time. The first couple months showed us why it was so cheap. There was no security, well there was supposed to be but the lock doors didn't work and they took months to even listen to our requests to fix it. Our neighbors everywhere were loud and rude. The place was always dirty from the hallways to parking lots. We didn't see any spiders for the first 2 months, most likely because we had to keep our windows closed all the time because the screens on every window was broken. But the first thing we did see were centipedes... Almost every day we would see at least one. About 6months into our lease our apartment got broken into, the door kicked in and everything stolen. We did not feel safe here anymore and they refused to let us out of our lease or even work with us to relocate or anything. The girls in the office are extremely busy and unless you make an appointment weeks ahead of time, it's unlikely that you will get to talk to the people you need to talk to. All in all, I would not reccommend this appartment to anyone. It's cheap, but not worth it.

lived here for a few years and havent had any major problems. office staff is friendly and polite when you go to the office. a few maintenance issues every now and then but thats what you get when you live in an apartment for 3+ years. another plus is that its really close to 94/694 and also 169 so it makes my drive to work really fast.
I love having a balcony to sit on during the warm summer nights. I also have plenty of room for my family in my 2 bedroom apartment. The office staff is also friendly and helpful. I really appreciate the extra effort that has been put in to get the garbage cleaned up. Overall it has been a nice, inexpensive place for me and my family.
