Canton’s recognition as one of the safest cities in Michigan is reason enough to move there. A strong focus on education, Canton is well on its way to becoming one of the fastest growing communities in the state.
The area is ideal for families. It has a well-maintained park system which includes Independence Park and Heritage Park. Here, residents can bask in an afternoon of walking, watching their kids play sports, and bond over a picnic in the grass.
Commuters have a short drive to and from the cities (yes, two cities!). Canton is just a few miles from the city limits of Ann Arbor and Detroit. When you live here, most of your conveniences are located along Ford Road, one of the main thoroughfares.

Property Ratings at Autumn Ridge
I am a current resident in the apartments. They have very poor response to maintenance requests. The AC has been down in my apartments for 1 month and I an trying every day to call but I did not recieve a resolution to my issue. Also, the dishwasher was down for 3 days and they were not responding to requests.. Highly unrecommended. Think hundred times before deciding to be here.
The service here is very bad The AC has been down for a month now And the manager isn't doing a thing although he knows im pregnant in my third trimester and this might affect the baby as well.. despite this he is not responding
I lived here for 7 years before moving and watched the place decline from a well kept, friendly environment to a money-hungry typical greedy landlord situation. Basically the son of the family who owns this place took over and everyone suffered for it. Repair of anything in my unit was always late and then made barely functional. I had a water heater above me break and soak my entire laundry room. They came in and painted the ceiling to fix it. The was mold growing there when i moved out. Our outside door to our unit would not lock or close properly, anyone could just walk in. All of us had asked to for it to be fixed multiple times. The office told us the owner refused to do it. They wouldnt pay for trash pickup more than once a week so the dumpsters would overflow and you'd get the pleasure of watching all manor of wildlife drag garbage around the lots. When i moved i was sent a bill for "damage" to the unit. Whe. I called to inquire i was told i had to pay for new carpet even though mine had never been replaced once since i lived there in 7 years. There was nothi g wrong with it besides the fact it was old. It wasn't even new when i had moved in. When i refused i was threatened with a lawsuit and swore at by the woman on the other line who handles their collections. Is it the worst apartment you could live in? No. Would i live here again? Not unless i had to. There are better places. Be prepared to expect the typical landlord treatment you hear about nowadays synonymous with so many rentals.
the doors are locked and secure. we just got new balconies. there's never any dog poop on the ground. maintenance is ok. they come with washer and dryer and water is covered. parking is iffy but i was told the pavement is being replaced this summer. the ladies in the office are nice. its straight forward, no glitz or glammer. just a fairly quiet place to live with great amenities and a fairly reasonable price.
Terrible management and maintenance. Very relieved we are out of this place.
This place was terrible our entire time living here. Maintenance is a joke, they will either forget to fix it, rig it so that it falls apart a week later, or just make an excuse as to why they can't fix it. All they care about is collecting money from the tenants. Mold, bugs, leaks they won't fix, gas leaks, etc. Avoid this place at all costs.
I do not have the time, energy or space to even write everything out about this horrid place. If you are looking for the reviews, please take this as your indicator to go anywhere else other than here. LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. If it wasn't for certain situations, I wouldn't have stayed as long as I did. It comes down to the apartments themselves, the area, the community, THE LADIES IN THE OFFICE, their rules, the maintenance employees, their lack of caring unless its something that benefits them, the bugs, the security, the amount, ALL OF IT. Do yourself the hugest favor and go somewhere else.
Maintenance is always on time and the problem is always corrected in a timely manner. Laura and Lisa are amazing and will go out of their way to help out, Highly recommend.
Worst experience ever. Pest, critters, dirty halls. Stay far away.
New Tenant experience was fantastic!! Lisa & Laura who work the front office are both helpful and kind in every way ! They made my move experience great and we’re very thorough even explaining things A couple times that I was having trouble with on setting up my account online. Thanks so much lady’s for all that you did !! I had a few maintenance issues that I addressed before I moved in and they were taken care of by the maintenance staff Asap! I highly recommend Autumn Ridge a great place to live and it’s staff for the great job they do and get things done in a quick and efficient manner!
I love living in this apartment community! Friendly neighbors, staff and maintenance! Maintenance orders are taken care of in an extremely timely manner. I feel safe and comfortable living here. I would recommend to anyone.
Where do I begin. This place is old and when things need to be fixed, they place a bandaid over it. They raise rent every year, there aren’t any amenities. When the maintenance techs come to fix, they even know how crappy this place is and management won’t allow them to replace things. Just fix it till it dies. We have been tenats for a while now and won’t be renewing. rent is raising, management doesn’t care about your needs as a tenant, and you have no one else to call or put a complaint into.
Lived here for about 8 months now and coming up on my lease renewal and I will be staying. I haven’t really had any problems since moving in other than a couple small things that the office and maintenance staff took care of very fast. Staff is friendly and have been very helpful. The apartments themselves are pretty spacious and the layouts are nice. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe quiet place to live in canton for a affordable rate.
Overall I really like living here and I think it is very affordable for Canton. It's not as nice as some of the higher end apartment complexes, but at this price point I can't complain. I have a full sized washer/dryer in a mini-laundry room in my apartment which is hard to find unless you are in an expensive apartment complex. Yes, the buildings and many of the appliances are old, but it's worth the trade-off to me. Pros: Washer/dryer in my apartment. This was huge for me and was the #1 factor in my deciding to move here. I'm not sure if every single apartment has them, but I wouldn't have moved here if my apartment didn't have it so I made sure that I was renting one that did. Access to the I-275 bike trail. Overall feels safe. I lived in Ypsilanti previously so this seems super safe by comparison. Most of the other people who live here are very nice, friendly and respectful of other tenants. The pool never seemed overcrowded or overly noisy this summer either. Staff and maintenance are very nice and do their best to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. They allow gas grills on both the 1st and 2nd floor. Cons: Drainage around the complex isn't the best, resulting in large puddles over some of the sidewalks in the spring, and sidewalks covered in sheets of ice in the winter. I fell while walking my dog several times last winter due to ice covered in snow on the sidewalk. Appliances are old, and the air conditioner in my 2nd floor apartment wasn't able to keep up in 90 degree days. I couldn't get the temperature below 76 on hotter days even if the A/C was running non-stop. Still, better than other apartments I've lived in before that had wall-mounted units. The thermostat was super old when I moved in, so I bought a programmable thermostat when DTE had a rebate program going on and maintenance installed it for me so it only cost me a few dollars. It was well worth it, especially since my apartment didn't seem very well insulated. Noise from I-275 if you live in the back of the complex.
the best place to be great staff awesome place to be and near everything
