Property Ratings at Autumn View
This apartment complex is okay. My husband and I have been living here a little over a year. I’ll leave a pros and cons list and i’m going to be completely honest about this place. PROS- 1. Quiet Area. - That is all CONS- 1.RUDE STAFF!!!! 2. Monthly rent increases randomly. 3. Small space for the amount you pay. 4. They charged us our pet fee by age, They said the younger the pet, the higher the fee- started out at a couple hundred. 5. When maintenance comes, they knock ONCE, maybe twice then automatically start unlocking your doors to barge in - you have NO time to even get up and answer the door before a man is meeting you in the living room, and if you put the second lock on (the slide chain one) They will BEAT and YELL “Maintenance” at your door for 5 minutes straight. I was extremely sick one morning and couldn’t get out of bed and they were at my door for at least 10 mins -Although maintenance are very nice men, besides that. But privacy in your own home would be nice. 6. The people here are stuck up and very rude. 7. Walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors talking and the people above you walking sounds like stomping and running. 8. The staff in the office are also VERY judge mental. 9. If you have a motorcycle, street bike, or loud car/truck, don’t bother moving here. One of the office workers yelled at my husband, very rudely to “Turn the bike down” as in noise when he was pulling into the parking lot- its a STOCK bike and he was going maybe 4mph not even revving the engine. 10. If you’re Military, or any form of a government worker, don’t expect a discount, they can care less. They are just money hungry. 11. The dog park is small- could definitely be bigger. 12. If you don’t have washers and dryers in your apartment, be prepared for the washers and dryers in the laundry mat to barley work- clothes will be SOAKING wet 15-20 minutes after the app lets you know your clothes are done spinning. 13. You pay $20 a month for people to collect your garbage, half the time they don’t. Even if you throw out your own garbage, you still have to pay the fee. 14. There is ZERO security what so ever, cameras are only placed on the main office, there’s no guard, no other cameras and no gate. Finally 15. If you rent here, be prepared for an extra $200 to be added to your monthly rent, not to mention the random fees that hit you all at once after not having them show up on any payment forms - and I mean like hundreds of dollars worth.
Don't stop here. Changed management recently. Fear this is just the beginning of a windfall for the management company and empty pockets for the unlucky tenants. First, no utility bill since February, and then all of a sudden, without prior notice like everything else...BAM! All the utilities are due, along with rent in one month. Secondly, you will be charged $20 a month, $280 a dollars year no matter if you throw your own garbage in the dumpster yourself or not. So, sound advice, especially if the military or teacher is to keep on looking, they have discontinued the discount for your living here!
Great apartment and area. Good value, clean & up kept grounds with friendly staff. My only critique would be to create more parking. It’s very difficult to find parking for most folks with more than one vehicle. When my family moved in this month, the apartment was well received and ready for occupancy. Only one very minor work order placed which was resolved very quickly and professionally. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to reside in our community.

We are so happy to have been able to work with you and make sure that you and your family were provided with great service throughout this process and feel more than comfortable calling Autumn View your home. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you were to need anything going forward. Welcome home!
Staff is very courteous and helpful. The maintenance crew is quick to come when you need them. No bugs, which is surprising because all the other apartments around here seem to have a bug issue. Very convenient area because of all the restaurants and the Walmart all within a mile. Very easy 15 minute commute to Ft. Bragg. Thin walls, very limited guest parking. While some appliances are new, other appliances need updating. All in all, the good definitely out ways the bad. Great price and good place to live.

So far living within this community has been a wonderful experience! The staff is incredibly polite and helpful, the maintenance crews are extremely responsive and knowledgeable, and I have no doubt that I am safe and that my apartment is well looked after thanks to security procedures and wonderful neighbors.

We take pride in offering our residents a comfortable place to call home! Our mission is to provide 5-star service, and reviews like yours let us know we are succeeding!
We loved living here so much the first time (2015-2017) that we have returned to reside here again. We were overseas when applying this second time and it was an easy process from start to finish. The staff here is welcoming and caring. Maintenance calls are completed usually the day you send the request (or the next morning if requested after hours). It really does feel like coming home!! 191-G Kimberly P

As I've resided here several years, I've witness the tenants come and go and each time the make up of the community still remains positive. This is why I've felt comfortable and at ease living here. Neighbors speak, kids play and dogs are walked which makes it feel like home

My husband and I have lived at Autumn View for 13 years! We have been here long enough to go through many different managers and I can honestly say that the current office staff is top notch! Maintenance issues are resolved super quickly and there is a general feeling of the staff being willing to go above and beyond to help. The community is generally pretty quiet and we feel safe here. It is for these reasons (and many more) that we are going to stay here for a while longer...even moving up and renting a bigger apartment! I highly recommend this apartment community.

When visiting around other apartments this one just popped out for some reason. The residents are friendly as can be with genuine hospitality and same as the staff. They go above and beyond to help you with your needs. And the location is safe near possibly anything you could need.
Living at Autumnview was really a dream come true. We lived there for 18 months until life and duty took us to Misawa, Japan. The staff truly takes care of you. Maintenance requests are dealt with on the same day even if you tell them there is no rush. The property is kept clean and the kitchen/bathrooms are absolutely wonderful. They are the sizes you’d normally find in a house! We’d live there again if we return to Fayetteville upon retiring from the DOD.
Do not rent from this company. The apartment rented to my family was full of roaches! When asked to remedy the problem the MGR. Karen became very rude and disrespectful. One office staff member, began asking my fiance questions about his family, home life asking about very personal inappropriate topics not typically discussed by office staff. When called out they began to harass my fiance and kids I stead of fixing the problem. Roaches were noted in the light fixtures of the apartment on the 1st day. The apartment staff stated the apartment was never fumigated prior to being rented for 1k a month! No apology, just multiple excuse, after excuse!!! I wish I never moved here!
