Property Ratings at Autumn Woods
Bugs, horrible parking, weed smoking neighbors, bad lighting. We got an apartment and was told that it had washer and dryer connections. When we discovered this wasn't the case, after moving in from out of state....all we got was an "oops". Maintenance covers up alot of needed repairs and updates. If you just desperately need a place to stay until the lease is up, then this would be the place.
Horrible the way they treat people. It was a game to the Leasing Manager. I was hung up on several times and they never followed up with me.
My Wife and I moved into Autumn Woods about 6 months ago, and in that short amount of time the staff has shown us almost weekly that they don't care for their customers. When signing our lease, my wife and I, were told 3 different times that there was 24/7 security that patrols the ENTIRE complex, in the 6 months we have lived here we have only seen security twice, both times they were asleep in there car. This wouldn't be an issue except our car was stolen from this the complex. When we confronted the staff about this they ensured us that they would tighten up security, lock gates at night, make sure the security guard isn't sleeping, simple stuff like that. It was 2 months ago we were told this and nothing has been done. When we asked the cop if he has a lot of problems with the apartment complex he informed us that he is here often and that the staff is aware of the problems but unwilling to make any effort to change them (in his opinion of course, but i find myself agreeing). I'll just summarize the rest of the issues we have had in the past 6 months to save some time: 1. Our floor is falling apart, sagging and crumbling, we informed the staff about for 2 months straight and they wouldn't send anyone to look at it until we called corporate. someone came to look at it that day. But, it has yet to be fixed, 2 months after the fact. 2. For the first 4 months we lived here we did not have a screen door. I had to offer to install it myself to get one. 3. The staff does not check parking passes so my wife and I have to park in visitor parking (about 1/4 mile away) about 3 times a week. 4. When we moved in there was a 1.5 foot wide hole in the laundry room wall that I had to fix myself. I have no clue who is writing these 5 star reviews, best guess is the staff themselves, seeing how I havent talked to a single person living here with anything good to say about the place.
We went without a working refrigerator for the first three weeks I lived here. Then, they charged me $155 to change the locks after I moved, even though I gave them all the keys upon my departure. Most of the damage done to my apartment was from the upstairs apartment flooding repeatedly, but I got stuck with the bill. Never rent from them if you can help it.
Very quite nice complex maintenance always on point when you call you always get friendly people and your problems handled In timely manner grounds are always kept up no trash build up over all nice place to live
This is my 3rd year being here an I love it, the staffs are real cool an nice an understanding of your personal situations, the neighbors are nice as well, I'll call this place home in a heart beat an would recommend this place to anyone that wants a place to call home, there clean an ect.....
I love living here, the staff is nice an wonderful an also the homes are great as well with nice neighbors too, they even have function every now an then to show appreciation, I haven't had a problem since I been here an it's going on my 3rd year, I recommen this to anyone.
I enjoy myself here, the neighbors are friendly an the staffs are wonderful, I recommend Autumn Woods to anyone needing a place to call home, this is my 3rd year here an don't plan on moving yet, yeah every place has it ups an downs but I haven't notice any downs about these.
Not the best of living, especially with the fee's. Location is great! But not worth the quality of the apartments. They are old and need some renovating. If you are in need of maintenance, they will send one asap, but the fix is cheap and is worse than before. However, they just put in a new sign! Not worth the raise on rent price.
I lived in these apartments for a drawn out six months and had the worst time out of every apartment I have lived in. The office staff was not helpful in an event of an emergency. While attempting to get my child to sleep (an eight month old) I was unable to accomplish such a simple task. The air conditioner that the maintenance had supposedly fixed three times in the last month wasn't working, the apartment turned into a hot box reaching more than 80 degrees. When I called their 24 hour maintenance, no one answered, so I continued to call the office when an incredibly rude woman answered and told me that the "on-call" maintenance person was not answering. She then told me that they do not have someone to come at this time anyway. What a wonderful 24 hour maintenance team right? The parking was also horrendous. When I moved in they made sure I had a parking permit so that my car would not get towed. They had told me that they are very strict even though there never seems to be any parking, coincidentally when my neighbors are having parties. What a trash hole!!! And hot stinky trash isn't any fun.
