As one of the oldest cities in the United States west of the Appalachians, Cincinnati offers residents contemporary urban living in a historic, distinctive setting. One of the oldest cities in the US houses an influential youth culture. Students, professionals, artists, and musicians of all walks of life come to the southwest corner of Ohio to live and work. College and professional sports are wildly popular, with the Bearcats of the University of Cincinnati, the Reds, and the Bengals enjoying huge fan bases in their hometown.
Renters and visitors alike will delight in attractions like the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Newport Aquarium, and the city’s iconic zoo. The annual Oktoberfest is one of the biggest celebrations of its kind outside of Munich, drawing thousands to the streets to celebrate the city’s German heritage.

Property Ratings at Avalon at the Pointe
The management seems very knowledgable and very friendly, I spoke with kayla and she was excellent, answered all my questions and really made me feel comfortable, I will be calling back for a visit and possibly filling out an application.
Ive been living here regretfully for a year. The building is dilapidated. Look at the roof of the building when you walk or drive by. You’ll see the tarps from roof leaking. Not to mention the foul smell of mold in the building. The front door is always ajar and then slams shut. Several times I’ve walked by and packages were left on the couch and outside the package room door, anybody could walk by and take them. I wouldn’t be surprised if this building is out of code too. Everything is always out of service or broken.
I have lived at Avalon for about 4 years now and it is truly the best place to live in the area! The building always looks and smells clean! So many great amenities and the apartments are SO nice! We get compliments from our friends that visit all the time! Office staff/management is always willing to go out of their way to help in anyway they can and are always making improvements/ adding new amenities to the building. We love the package room, so convenient! And we love having a nice clubroom to host our family and friends. It honestly feels like a luxury hotel, they even provide towels at the pool! We love living here!
I have been a resident for 1 year and will continue living, management is always helpfull and the location plus amenities are what I need. Happy Resident ?? .
There is always nasty cigarette smoke being blown in your face when trying to walk to through the front doors and if you walk around the building bam more smokers in your face. It’s disgusting. (Also, a bunch of dog poop!)You will have to breathe in second hand smoke if you leave here. It’s unavoidable. And how is this a luxury apartment building when the hallways, elevators and common areas are hardly cleaned and constantly smell. When management is away (which they are always out of the office) it gets so so much worse!
There is nothing “luxury” about Avalon. Get used to broken appliances, hidden fees, rude management and dog poop/pee in the elevators. Their “secured” package room is a joke, just another attempt to cut corners and not get an actual parcel pending locker. I’ve already had a package of mine taken by someone else. To top it off the washing machines here don’t even have a fabric softener dispenser. Cheap construction, cheap appliances and terrible management. Also, If you’re sensitive at all to very loud generators avoid this place at all costs.
I loved living there as it is a new place and is modern but their fees to break the contract was over $6,400!! Which is soo unreasonable, how can anyone afford that? That is a major turn off.
The apartment complex overall is nice and modern. I lived here for 2 years and the main issue is management. My first year they were great. Any issue was addressed and resolved. As for my second year, issues were not a concern. Dog waste was never picked up and at times was inside the hallways of the apartment. The dumpsters were not emptied nearly often enough and the garbage chutes would get backed up so all tenants would just pile garbage bags in the hallways. My apartment smelled of smoke for my entire second year of living here. The manager ran an air purifier which somewhat helped for 1 day but I couldn't be inside the apartment while it was running. The only other option was for us to move into a different apartment and they would waive our moving fee. Also the only open apartments were significantly more expensive. Overall it isn't a terrible place to live but I would not recommend it. Too expensive for how dirty it is.
Less than 3 years old, Avalon at the Pointe, is centered at a great location with easy access to highways and malls. The management has changed but, with each team bringing their own personality and style that benefited the residents. So far I have only met nice residents since my two years of living here. The work-out room is excellent with 4 televisions and different equipment to use to help keep the pounds off. Parking at the complex is tricky, everybody wants to park right near the door entrances, only the front and back sides has entrances. The key fob allows entrance into the building, office lobby and apartments which is supposedly to help cut down on break-ins; so far that has not happened and probably never will. There are plenty of retired persons living here so that makes it stays less noisy. Public transportation isn’t great in this area so please make sure you have a dependable vehicle, the Sorta Metro bus only service the area during the rush hour; Clermont County Services Transportation does not cover the whole area.
These apartments are new, and luxurious. The location is also ideal being right off the highway. My neighbors are very friendly, maintenance work is completed in a timely manner. However, the management is poor. They were not honest about all available units when I first moved in, I also was placed on a waiting list for a better unit, only to find 6 months later (after new management was hired) that no waiting list actually existed. The walls are obnoxiously thin, the courtyards echo very loudly when they are being occupied, and the pool only receives direct sunlight from 12-4pm for about 2 months during the summer. Lastly, the parking lots are scary dark at night and the parking spots are extremely tight.
