The rent gets jacked up a lot during renewal. It becomes cheaper to transfer units within complex then stay in same unit. They will rip you off and are not helpful. Horrible people and attitude after 1 year. They will pretend to be nice when first moving in
I live in the Avalon apartments in Calabasas and the best part is the location. The apartments themselves are renovated, clea, and well kept but the location is what separates apartments from homes. The neighborhood conveniently located near a park, market, and delicious eateries(sushi, Mexican, and Mediterranean). Not to mention the quick and easy Starbucks a mile away! The morning are quiet and the evenings are filled with families, couples, and friendly walkers out enjoying the fresh air and greenery provided by the Santa Monica mountains. The local could not be more ideal for new couples looking to move in together, families wanting a sense of community, or singles wanting an escape from the hassle of city life. The Avalon apartments of Calabasas truly have everything and more. From tennis courts to swimming pools, residents are surrounded by whatever their imagination can conjure. Not to mention, the staff are eager to please and welcoming to all. While the process of apartment hunting can be tedious and mundane, Avalon of Calabasas provides the excellence, comfortability, and location that apartment hunters dream of.
Early in the morning in our balcony, you feel the touch of Ocean in the air. The view is amazingly beautiful with the draw of montain on the site and the sun is always shining, so you can use it as a natural earthydryer for your clothing. In our apartment the space has been used very smartly, so this way you can hear the heartbeats of your loved ones in a magical way.
Old construction, decent apartments. Wooden doors and wooden floor is of not good quality. Service is good, but management is greedy and rent increase every year is huge. This year they increased my rent by 21.5% which is $400 so you can expect anything
This is a great apartment for location, amenities, and quality. Situated in Calabasas, California, this Avalon Calabasas apartment is perfectly located near areas like Malibu, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills. With views of the canyons, two pools, two hot tubs, and two fitness centers, this apartment complex certainly isn't lacking in any area. In the rental office there is free wifi and computers for use. The apartments are affordable for the area and therefore this building is the perfect option for someone looking to be in the heart of California with excellent amenities at an affordable monthly rate.
the location for my apartment is the main reason of joy for my stay and rating my Apartment. It is very close to the beach, hiking place and Highway. I like the air in the morning, when i go work and the distance to my Work is not bad. As it shows all of the reasons mentioned above are related to the Location.
There are hardwood floors on the first floor, which makes them very convenient for cleaning (the second floors are carpeted, and by the look of my neighbor's place, the carpeting gets dirty quick). The only major problem is ants, which I understand aren't as much of a problem for apartments on the second floor. We put out some ant poison on the patio and the ants have only been a problem if somebody left food next to the door. The walls and ceiling are kind of thin. Light sleepers should probably look for apartments on the second floor. The master bedroom and bathroom have plenty of room - the second bathroom has a large tub. The kitchen is kind of small but certainly big enough to cook a meal for a few people. The neighborhood is quiet. Maintenance requests are always fulfilled quickly and asking questions at the leasing office is easy.
Mountain views, 2 pools, 2 fitness centers, great location, and great schools.
