If I could leave less than one star, I would. Avoid this place at all costs. I know you're probably reading through the bad reviews thinking "Oh this is just one angry person who had a bad experience" no. I have multiple friends and family in this complex and everyone hates it. Living at Avalon Cherry Hills has been the absolute worst experience of my life. From the moment I moved in, it was nothing but lies and deception. They promised me a great place to live, but what I got was a nightmare. Let’s start with the fees. They’ll lie through their teeth about what you’re being charged. Expect hidden fees to pop up out of nowhere, and don’t even bother asking for explanations—you’ll just get more lies. The amenities they brag about? Always broken. The gym is a joke, the pool is constantly destroyed, and the elevators—don’t even get me started. They’re out of service more often than not, and when they do work, you’re risking your life just stepping inside. Security here is a myth. The property is regularly broken into, and the parking garage is overrun with homeless people. I’ve seen multiple cars that have been broken into, and management does absolutely nothing about it. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I was literally threatened to be killed in the parking lot. When I reported it, management couldn’t have cared less. In the span of three months, my apartment flooded TWICE. Water damage everywhere, and did they offer any help? Of course not. No assistance with rent, no offer to move me to another unit—nothing. It took them THREE WEEKS just to send maintenance in to dry the water up, but the mold had already started growing. I was left to deal with the mess on my own, while they continued to collect their money. The noise here is unbearable. Sirens, cars racing, people screaming—it’s non-stop, all night long. Don’t expect to get any sleep living here. Oh! Don't forget the community wide fire alarm that goes off 2x a week for about 30 minutes at a time, usually around 11pm. The whole complex reeks of marijuana and garbage. It’s like living in a dump, surrounded by constant noise and the smell of filth. If you value your sanity, your safety, and your health, do yourself a favor and stay as far away from Avalon Cherry Hills as possible. This place is a disaster, and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

Don’t recommend. Only 3 months with Bell Cherry Hills and the experience has been atrocious. Unfortunately, that’s not even being dramatic. They moved me into the incorrect unit and advertised community amenities are not legitimate. Just stay away. The apartment itself is nice, which is a bummer the rest of the experience is awful.

Really enjoy our appartment, size and layout are nice. Staff are attentive and polite. Major improvements in the community.

Bell Cherry Hills is like living in a cozy community with nice amenities. All the of the necessary stores are within 10min, and downtown Denver is only 20min away, so I still feel like I'm metro, but wo having to deal with parking and traffic. The staff are very down to earth and helpful. Thank you for providing quality living with reasonable rent.

Even though the apartments are in a great location to food and hospitals, I would not recommend living here.

The new management team that took over in January is wonderful! They have made so many improvements. I love the new package delivery system, regular pool maintenance, new flooring, new pool resurfacing, etc. The listen to your problems and take care of it immediately.

Could've been a nice place, looks like a nice place, but it's an overpriced, cheaply made dump.

I love living here. The layouts of the apartments are functional and innovative. Great location and amenities! The staff is great from the office and reception to maintenance staff.

Very quiet apartments for such a large community. I love the location with so many quality amenities! My dog is very comfortable here too!

I love my apartment and the amenities. The gym is excellent. Definitely cancel your gym membership! Maintenance is on par. I love that pets are allowed.

Please avoid. It looks great on the outside but the water pipes and heaters are so shoddy we only drink bottle water in our house and over boil our water for cooking, just to be sure. I have lived in a questionable apartment complex before, and I have never seen one painted so nice. We will not be renewing our lease.

I would highly recommend you not wasting you time applying to this complex. I've lived here for almost a year and since moving in had to deal with the banging of the upstairs neighbors. Everytime I try to talk to the leasing office about it, they come up with excuse after excuse why they can't do anything about. Now they've agreed to let me out of my lease 3 months prior but still at a 60 day notice. So basically I'm not getting out of my lease any sooner and I have to deal with the noise for another 2 months. When you into the office, they see you coming in prior and walk away as if they're busy. You send emails with responses about 2 weeks later. Enter into a contract with them at your own risk Apt B210

Thin walls, you will have a lot of noise problems from your neighbors

I've been a resident since April 2019 and have been overall VERY pleased. The only thing I wish could be changed is that I am right on Broadway, so my deck gets VERY dirty and is not relaxing because of the noise. BUT that is something that is not directly the fault of Bell Cherry Hills it is the fact that I'm in a unit off of a very busy and noisy street. I would have to say that when the door is closed, I find the noise not so noticeable which tells me that the building is very sound proof.

DON'T rent here if you ever want to have guests/entertain. Communication from building admin is a joke. They'll tell you that guests can park in the garage without a pass as long as they're not staying overnight, then tow vehicles after two hours with no sticker and no warning because they don't have a parking pass. You'd think that for the money they expect residents to pay, they'd at least be upfront about policies.

Its a great location, and a nice community when the leasing office makes sure the buildings are clean. Some requests, like the wheelchair lift in the pool, never get tended to which is unfair for some of the residents..

Management is constantly changing, and it does now good. Always giving me the run around on things they can’t figure out (their job). Also the trash rooms never have the trash taken out of them, so the halls smell like garbage and fish all the time. It’s unbearable to walk them I don’t know how they can even give tours with how disgusting it is. We pay a trash fee but I have no idea what it goes to as trash will sit in those rooms for well over a week. I’ve seen it get so bad over multiple weeks that you can’t even open the door to the trash rooms. They keep moving people in but don’t seem to be able to keep up at all with all that comes with new tenants.

DeWayne was a pleasure to deal with through out the leasing process. He was very knowledgeable and made my move in experience great. Office staff and maintenance staff alike are awesome.

Bell Cherry Hills is a great place to live! It has everything!

We are LOVING our new apartment! Bell Cherry Hills has excellent amenities and great staff!

Honestly this place has been very disappointing. Ultimately we've stayed for the location and the apartment itself. However, the community is awful. The doors/gates are constantly broken. There's homeless people living in the stairwells, poop in the stairwells. The halls smell like urine. We havefound needles in the stairwells and outside. garage doors seem to always be broken, and packages seem to always be missing/stolen despite having a parcel box that we have paid for. In the winter, the back of building A is always neglected and rarely gets shoveled. The staff is nice but they take a long time to respond to building maintenance. The two times we have called for apartment maintence they were quick to fix the problem which is great. The main concern is safety here. It seems like it would be worth it to invest in cameras for common areas such as stairwells, mailrooms, gym etc. We have yet to see any alternatives except for the temporary fixes. It would be wise to find more permanent solutions instead of doing the same thing over and over again. We will definitely be moving out when our lease ends.

The apartment layout and storage is great. Location is in a great place central to a lot of places and parking is plentiful. However, staff can be unresponsive and maintenance has been slow.

Beautiful apartments and friendly staff. Great central location but safety is a concern. Folks like to break into the building either through the garage or side doors and Ive been pleasantly surprised by homeless folks sleeping on my car as well as my car being broken into while being parked in the garage. In addition, my car has been towed from the garage though, in the whole first year I loved here, management never expressed that residents must have vehicles registered both with the building and a secondary service (Park M) before your registration is complete. The communication has improved but security is still a big concern.

Bell Cherry Hills has been my peak apartment living experience. Units are smartly designed to so things dont feel out of place and feel larger then they are. Low noise transfer between units (with kids right above us). We feel so spoiled here.

These apartments are not for long term living. I’ve been here 2 years and have watched it slowly fall apart. Our sink in the kitchen has been falling out basically since my roommate and I moved in and have to get it fixed every couple months. The garage doors will be out of service and just open to anyone for months at a time. The ceilings are on the thinner side so be ready to hear your upstairs neighbor. We also have had water damage in our unit for about 4 months now waiting to hear from the front office about when someone was going to fix it but we believe because our lease is almost up that they are just putting it off. Also in the last week someone has had their car stolen from the parking garage not to mention my roommates bike was stolen about a month into living here, so don’t use the bike rack. Hopefully you like the smell of dog poop bc it is never picked up. The fire alarms will also just off randomly. Don’t expect to get your mail. I have had so much mail lost here packages go missing from the Amazon lockers, and if you get a package and it ends up in the office don’t expect to be notified you’ll have to just figure that out on your own.

I am very comfortable at Bell Cherry Hills. The apartments are beautiful and the leasing office people ad maintenance people are very nice, knowledgeable, and "on it."

I have been a resident for 8 months and find management and maintenance to be responsive and very courteous. The residents are also friendly when I meet them in the hallways or on the common grounds. My apartment is very quiet, even though I face Broadway that can be quite noisy when sitting on my patio with a lot of traffic, but once inside and the doors are closed, it surprises me on how quiet it becomes. I have been very comfortable and pleased during my residency at Bell Cherry Hills. Thank you!

Overall Bell Cherry Hills is a nice apartment in a convenient part of town. It is conveniently within walking distance to groceries and some dining, and a comfortable if long walk to the light rail. Definitely a nice place to live and good valaue.

This apartment complex has beautiful floor layouts, and the amenities are good when we are not in a pandemic.

I have lived at Bell Cherry Hills for over 4 years, and have been very pleased with the apartments and the leasing staff. Even in the midst of the pandemic, they have been responsive and supportive. I cant think of another place Id rather live.

The place has deteriorated in the last year...when I first moved in back in 2017, the place was clean and the office staff under the manager Kristin was so helpful...can't say the same after she left.

I have enjoyed living here for three years. It is safe, management is responsive, and until the pandemic hit the grounds and public areas were well maintained. There was a lot of effort put into creating community.

The apartment community got rid of almost all the grass surrounding the building. This was a big selling point because I have pets. That paired with the Dog Run being closed all year (even though it is outdoors and too small to fit multiple people in it) so my dogs have nowhere to go. Those were the main reasons we chose this community. Well, that and the outdoor grill and rooftop areas, which are also closed due to covid (even though they are outdoors and have room to distance)

We absolutely LOVE living here!!!! Its not "apartment living" to us. It Is Home!!!

This community offers a high-end luxury lifestyle but for a lower rate than most areas. The staff is very friendly and responsive.

Apt is very nice but nothing else is the manager is very very nice and does listen to my concerns but will not give me reason for only opening only partially opening amenities witch I pay for just like management I'm sure nothing will come of this

I knew going into the contract that there were going to be additional fees such as trash service fee, pest control etc. However, as time went on we find it very unecessary to have a trash service fee. We've used it a handful of times. Most times we take trash and recycling out ourselves. our trash got rejected for a bulky item and to our understanding a bulky item would be something unmanageable to carry. Our "bulky" item was a laundry detergent bottle.Moreover, we don't like how things were handled during the pandemic. A lot of complexes chose to help their residents with giving back a certain portion of rent( since amenities are closed) reduce/empt fees on top of waiving late fees for rent. It's disappointing that it appears Bell Partners only cares about profit. Residents are still going to be struggling throughout this pandemic and to hear that late fees will no longer be waived starting in July is crazy to me. Just because that state has started reopening, doesn't mean people will be back on their feet at 100%.

Over priced but nice apt

This is the worst place - being homeless is a blessing compared to how they treat you here and yes I can say that having been homeless.

This is such a wonderful, dog friendly community with so many amenities. It is so conveniently located, which allows for easy access to downtown or any other area.

THINK TWICE, THREE TIMES, EVEN 4 TIMES BEFORE RENTING HERE!! SIMPLY DO NOT DO IT!!! ZERO STARS IS WHAT IT DESERVES NOT EVEN ONE. I have lived here for 7 months now, my next door neighbor has the most enormous dog I have ever seen living in an apartment. Now keep in mind I am a dog lover and a dog owner myself. This dog next door has Separation Anxiety when its owner is gone and because it is an ENORMOUS DOG it has AN EVEN MORE ENORMOUS VOICE and it MOANS IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN while its owner is gone at work. When I say it Moans I mean for 6, 7, 8 hours at a time without ever stopping. I as well as the neighbors on the other side and the neighbors above have all been complaining to the Leasing Office for 7 months. Now at 7 months Management in Leasing Office tells us residents that are complaining to Call Englewood Police and make a Noise Complaint or record the Moaning/Barking on our phones for proof. They want NOTHING to do with enforcing Their Own Noise Restrictions that they have written in the lease. We call the Police and they refer us to Animal Control, Animal Control says it is the Responsibility of the Leasing/Management Company to enforce their noise rules. So we have NOBODY willing to step in to make this stop. Management Here Stinks and they do not care about their residents that pay HUGE RENTAL PREMIUMS to live in what they call "Luxury Living". THIS IS WAY WAY WAY BELOW LUXURY LIVING!!!! JUST SIMPLY DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS PLACE, IT IS HORRIBLY MANAGED AND NOBODY ON SITE OR AT BELL PARTNERS INC. CARES ABOUT THE RESIDENTS!!! The corroboration that management says they need is that MANY MANY Neighbors that live around and above this resident with the Extremely Loud Moaning Dog have all complained. Are they stupid enough to think we are all lying about the noise?? I mean seriously. Then when Animal Control Visits the Leasing Office the staff tells the Animal Control Officer that they had no clue that the renter in that apartment even had a dog nor were they aware that there were noise problems. Total & Complete Lies on their part!!!
