I have lived at Avalon Springs for 6 years. I was one of the very first residents to move in. I love it here! The apartments are gorgeous. Most importantly though, with all the worrisome crime going on in the world these days, I feel 100% safe living here and plan to stay for many years to come. I tell everyone I know about Avalon Springs Townhome Apartments!! I am very happy here.

The crime rate for the price is insane. People outside fighting in front of kids is not okay. Cars always being broke into and trash always all over the parking lot
Overall very clean place. Do not like how the pool has been closed several weeks this summer.
Like living here overall. Most residents are interested in keeping the place clean so there isn’t much trash in the parking lot. The units themselves are decent with decent appliances - although they don’t come with a full size fridge so families beware. The master bedroom is large. I’ve lucked out on neighbors so far but there ARE some very loud ones based on what I’ve heard coming from units while taking my trash out and talking to people. I’d inquire as to whether your new neighbors have had any noise complaints filed against them before signing anything. Mostly young professionals living here. There are some issues, though. Like the pool. Working adults basically can’t use the pool because it’s not open after 5 M-F and not open at all on weekends. Why are we paying for this?? No one uses the pool. They should just fill the pool in and lower our monthly water bill. And that’s another thing. If you live by yourself, you’ll pay through the nose for water/sewer as it’s a flat rate per unit. Also, the people who built the units were too cheap to install an air intake upstairs. Not an issue in the winter but it can get VERY humid upstairs in the summer even when running the AC fan 24/7. I sleep with two fans on, the AC fan runs 24/7, and still have to set the AC to 68 at night just to keep the humidity feeling bearable upstairs when it’s frankly a little cold downstairs. Dumb. Parking can be an issue, especially in the back, if people have several guests over. Management has tried using parking decals and sending emails detailing where visitors should park…except the parking decals mean nothing and visitor parking isn’t marked so residents park in the visitor spaces. Whoops. There’s a broken down (totaled?) car that hasn’t been used in at least a year just hanging out in the back. There’s ONE maintenance worker, which is usually fine since the buildings are newish, and it’s impossible for him to notice things like that around the property. Pet rent went up this year - it’s now $30 per pet. Paint used is CHEAP cheap cheap - it’ll ding in a heartbeat. So, as you can see it’s not perfect. But these complaints are really the worst I have to offer. I’ll be renewing my lease.

The pool hours were extremely inconvenient and really small for a community this size.
I moved into Avalon Springs in early 2021, I was relocating from out of state, so it was important for me to have a place that I felt comfortable in, and was close to work. The office manager is great and responsive, maintenance is always timely. My only issue, there have been a couple emails about car safety, and people coming through our community trying to get into cars. I called the manager and he walked me through their safety protocols and was very responsive. I've enjoyed living here, and can't wait for the pool to be open!
I would recommend and have put in referrals because the staff and the overall townhome is worth the price. When the pool opens it will be even more worth it.

The grounds are kept beautiful and it is a nice living community.
Landscaping in back portions of property don't seem to get same attention as front areas. Dying tree outside unit and bush that died not replaced.
My husband and I have lived here for over a year and can say we really love living here. Our Towhhome is very comfortable and has a lot of extras for the money . The management staff is very courteous and has always been fast to take care of any maintenance requests.
I didn't know what to expect from townhome living BUT I can honestly say, I love it! Avalon Springs is a great place to live...not only is the price great but so is the community, amenities, location, maintenance, builders and staff. My 2 BR, 2.5 Bath townhome surprises every visitor when they walk in my door. The flooring, cabinets, crown molding, window seat in the master BR, etc. and all the other small touches throughout the townhome that the builders took time to do, really makes it feel like you had a hand in the design and it is worth every penny. I am so glad I chose Avalon Springs to live and can see myself here for along time!
I have lived in a lot of apartments but not any comparable to Avalon Springs We love the walking trail. I would recommend this development.
