I have lived at this beautiful property for 25 YEARS. I have a beautiful, well-maintained apartment that has been upgraded through the years. I have spectacular views. The rooms are spacious and the amenities are outstanding. That includes a coat closet, kitchen pantry, linen closet and huge walk-in closet in the bedroom. The large storage room outside my unit is very handy. I'm 5 miles in any direction from every service/shopping place I use on a regular basis. The office staff can't be beat. Bob in maintenance is simply superb. I feel safe and secure here. I could not be more satisfied than I am living at Avana.

I have lived at this beautiful property for 24 years. I love every aspect of living here, including my spacious apartment with a number of amenities, like a storage unit, pantry, linen closet, large rooms and a panoramic view. The office staff has always been responsive to any requests I have. The location is ideal for all the shopping and appointments I have on an ongoing basis. The maintenance could be better staffed but when I need something done, it is always addressed in a timely manner. I plan to live here to many years to come.

I haven’t had any issues since I moved in. Great place to live. I’ve already referred others to move here. Move in process was easy , fees low and apartments decent and rent is rreasonable.

I wish their home amenity like washer and dryer is current and up to date. The one that we have looks like washer and dryer from early 90’s. It is not energy efficient and cost efficient. I have to go out to do laundry, most of the time i have to put more timer to the dryer for my clothes and bed sheet to dry up.

This is been an excellent process and easy process. Everyone especially Nicole was absolutely amazing. She made the process easy effortless. She was kind efficient. She was always calling me to make sure I was doing OK and offered any help with any thing online if I had any trouble. I moved in the apartment nice clean With the exception of a couple little things that I would like them to come in and look at everything is wonderful The community is clean kept up. I see the maintenance people out, taking care of the grounds all the time. I don’t feel like I live in an apartment. I feel like I live in a small home.

I’m afraid to sleep in my bed at night because of the amount of bugs in my apartment, specifically my bedroom. I’ve bought my own pest control products because the things that the complex does doesn’t work. They say they spray and yet my bedroom and bathroom are infested with crickets, scorpions, cockroaches, beetles, silverfish, and spiders. I will be moving as soon as my lease is up.

Avana at the Pointe is a beautiful community located in a stunning area. The leasing staff are kind and professional and maintenance is quick and clean. Unfortunately, my apartment was not move in ready upon moving in. There were multiple items that needed to be worked on and there are still several more I still need to have completed. I’m fortunate the on-site staff is professional and responsive, but it makes me wonder how I found myself in this situation to begin with. Obviously, it would have been significantly easier if the apartment had been ready so there was no inconvenience to either party.

The location is great for being central Phoenix. The office staff and maintenance team are nice. The units are terrible if you have someone above you. You will hear every step they take to the point of having your sleep disrupted so definitely opt for an upper unit and then you’ll be good to go. Also depending on where in the complex you live there are not a lot of open parking spaces for roommates or guests

I have not enjoyed my experience here at all. My apartment is infested with bugs in the summer, usually filling up 10 big sticky traps in one week in my bedroom/bathroom alone. Maintenance came a couple times to spray something which did absolutely nothing. I found a live snake on one of my sticky traps in our dining room. If anything breaks, I have to figure it out myself because I know this apartment is not going to do anything about it.

I have lived at this beautiful property for 24 YEARS! I love living here. I have a spacious 1 BD apt.with panoramic views. Every amenity I need I have here. That includes a coat closet, linen closet, pantry, and walk-in bedroom closet. The location can't be beat. Living in the middle of the indigenous desert while being within 5 miles of all my service/shopping venues is terrific! The maintenance staff is great and I always feel my requests to the office staff are heard and respected. I always feel valued, safe and secure living at Avana and plan to remain living here for many years to come!

Lovely community inside the only Phoenix mountains, with magnificent views and ubication, and a great management focused in every detail. Nice, easy and pleasant quality living in a quiet beautiful environment, with nice and neat in and out spaces and facilities.

Avana to me is a hidden gem. The complex and surrounding neighborhood is well kept and pleasing to the eye. It is very quiet and relaxing here with beautiful views of the beautiful Phoenix sunsets.

Scorpion Infested! We found one in our apartment less than a week after moving in. When I asked management about it they didn't seem concerned and said it doesn't happen often. After talking to neighbors it is a huge problem in the complex.

Love our next door neighbors. The office staff when we first moved in were great. Now nothing seems to get done. One of our neighbors is continually smoking weed and it effects the health of my family. This is a drug free property and the office does nothing to enforce it.

I have lived at this property for over 23 yrs and have mo.plans to move. There have been maintenance staffing problems that I hope have resolved. I love living here because of the location, the dolce and amenities of my apt. the front office staff and my beautiful panoramic views!

It’s been 45 days and this incompetent apartment complex has yet to reimburse my money for a mess up the had on their end. They just keep playing dumb & give keep telling me it’s in transit… Mia, the on site manager said she can’t provide me with any information on where the check is other than it’s in transit and maybe in my mailbox, I wouldn’t be calling you if it was in my mailbox Mia. I work in the industry and know how this works, it’s crazy the steps they’re going to avoid giving me my money back as if it belongs to them! Called someone at the Greystar corporate, to get more information & what did they say…. That they have nothing to do with it and can’t help? WHAT. What type of business are you running? This is insane!! These people are terrible to work with!! If you tell me a time and it’s obviously over the amount of time told, the smartest thing would be to resend the check because maybe it got lost? AND FOR SOME REASON THEY DON’T provide tracking numbers for documents like this.. please don’t believe the reviews here, they are rated highly because the complex provides some type of offer when moving in & out for the high ratings. This is a terrible company, terrible complex and terrible management by Mia & everyone else

Apartment need work. There are leaks and cracks, things not working properly. Gaps and holes where they remodeled but didn’t seal things properly. You pay a lot of money to live here and they don’t stay on top of maintenance. The views and area are really nice I just wish they took care of business and stop over promising and under delivering.

Way too expensive for their so called upgraded apartments with broke down pools all the time. Landscaping is a joke, flooding everywhere and dead grass. Worst paint job in an apartment that I have ever seen. The area is phenomenal and the on residence staff is extremely helpful but they have absolutely no control over the greed of Greystar and there inadequacy of dealing with the numerous issues at hand.

When we moved in 4 years ago this was an amazing community. It was quiet, well kept and residents were treated with respect. The gates were always operating properly and we had gate fobs that worked. I can't say any of that now. The north gates are constantly broken. Our gate fob is no longer working and when we asked for a new one, they said they are on back order and they will let us know when they come in, but I won't hold my breath. Most of the covered parking structures in the complex are damaged and have been for over a year despite being told they will get them fixed. The wood floors in our apartment weren't installed correctly so they are sinking and cracking and this was also brought to managements attention. We were told that the vendor that handles the flooring for renovations would come take a look at it and that hasn't happened and this was months ago. The maintenance supervisor will lie right to your face about work orders being completed and management is aware of this and this has yet to be remedied. Lease violations all over the place. Dogs not being leashed and people not picking up after their dogs. Residents smoking weed to the point where you walk outside and get a contract high and nothing gets done about it. The office screens their calls so if they don't feel like speaking to you, they let it go to the call center and then won't even call back even if a message is left for a call back. And last but not least, people parking back by our building in the early morning hours doing drugs in their car. Oh, and we can't forget the homeless people that park back here, sleep in their car and then undress and dress in the parking lot in the morning before they leave. That's a lovely sight first thing in the morning. If the staff here cared half as much about their residents as they do about food trucks and silly events, this would be a great place!

We moved recently and have really enjoyed the complex. It’s been very quiet and much nicer than our old place. The staff has been helpful and respond very quickly with any concerns or questions that have come up.
