If I were to rate from 1 - 10, I would give Avana chandler a 7. There were to many minor things to overlook that made the first week here put a frown on my face, with that being said, maintenance did show up to fix some things but was obviously overwhelmed. The main issue was the shower, the knob was broken and we were unable to shower for the first two days, this is Arizona, that is a must! Management so far is great and I can’t complain at all with their service. I would still recommend moving here but be sure to check all things before the move in day.

Everything in my apartment is breaking. I barely can go one week without something going wrong. I have called countless times as well as going to speak to the office manager. No one seems to care that my apartment is not a safe place for me to live. I no longer wish to live here because of the inability to live with the essential working utilities that an apartment NEEDS to have. It is absolutely astounding to me that these apartments are able to stay open with this type of mistreatment to their tenants. I will be spreading the word to others that these apartments are not suitable living facilities.

The complex is nice and quiet. I love my townhouse but the amenities that are included in rent never works. Pool always dirty. Washer or dryer go out and people wait a long time. The gym is the only thing out the amenities you ll get to enjoy. Maintenance takes forever and sometimes check they did your maintenance request and they did nothing.

When I moved in I expected everything to be as it showed on the pics. Although, I did a walk thru after signing, I did not find out about a leak in one of my bathroom sinks and my dryer not working and looking like someone stomped on it until I moved in. Maintenance is terrible and almost a month later, I still do not have a dryer and no indication of when I will get one. Just a heads up, I should have read the reviews about the maintenance before moving in.

Rent is affordable, but maintenance takes 30 plus days to fix anything, and management changes 3 times a year. Otherwise location is great, rent is fine, and people are SUPER friendly!

Stay far away. Long unfulfilled critical maintenance orders due to understaffed maintenance crew despite being operated by a $76 billion private equity firm. They made their billions by cheaping out by failing to do things like be adequately staffed

Great area to live but place is horribly managed and is falling apart. Leasing office does not make you feel like they care. Maintenance requests after months still haven’t been addressed. Or updated. Missing kitchen drawers and broken drawers since move in. Move in ready units are honestly not move in ready. Unless you like living in a unit with issues..

Unfortunately, our experience in this apartment has been marred by several issues. Recently, a bathroom overflow incident occurred causing water to flood into the kitchen. Additionally, there are multiple cosmetic issues present: the sliding screen door doesn't close properly, the sliding doors for the laundry room are broken and also don’t close properly and the living room window is unable to open, this is some of many flaws. Managing these cosmetic flaws has been challenging, requiring constant efforts to conceal them because management hasn’t reached out or tried to resolve the issues (there has been multiple work orders and phone calls, as well as speaking to someone in the office) Overall, while the apartment has potential, addressing these maintenance and cosmetic issues would greatly improve the living experience.

Maintenance is not performed and requests are just cleared like they don't exist. I have submitted several requests about plumbing issues (leak in shower took 3 requests to fix) - now glazing from tub has bene peeling for months and clogging the drain and I have submitted 3 requests and it still is not fixed. The screens on windows are ripped and have been since move in - I have submitted 4 requests for repair and they have not responded. The pools have only been open about 3 months of the 9 months that have been here - there is a big crack in front pool and the back pool is "Waiting on parts" is the excuse. I love the location and am fine with older apartment - but they don't repair or upkeep or act like issues matter at all. They only time they reacted to maintenance issues was when a possible buyer for property was making random visits, so they did a SWAT Maintenance repair and did a bunch of clean up of the open requests. This is just so very disappointing.

The staff in the front office are kind and polite but the things that need to be fixed around the unit are not getting done. I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t even ask anymore. I just learned that this is what I have to deal with until my lease ends. It’s sad and unfortunate but for me to keep putting in work orders and nothing is getting done and fixed or maintenance telling me they’ll be back but never returning. It’s just a waste of my time.

Steer clear of this place. There is one maintenance man with no plans to hire another. Maintenance requests outstanding over a year are just cancelled.

Move in experience horrible until this day. Community is quiet at times. I like that 1 bdrm units don't have a resident above. Plenty of parking spaces so that's a plus.

Grounds look trashy, visible trash dumpsters and random garbage strewn throughout… dog poop everywhere, limited privacy patio that is barely covered. New staff every other week and poor management. Property is pretty much falling apart, maintanence is non existent, there are always issues with the water and the a/c systems in their “townhome” is horrible on the second floor. Careful parking in/around the complex before a storm! Trees constantly go down and the covered parking is old! Glad to be out of here.

I have lived in 5 different states and 7 different communities in United States. This is worse community I ever seen. I am regretting my decision to choose this community. They don't care about resident maintenance requests even emergency request (Toilets). We have kids and we have some cloths everyday to clean and dry. Now we have to go outside for laundry, this wasting of time and money. That is very frustrating.

Maintenance is horrible in this site, so much frustrating, nothing happen after multiple call and office visit. Even they don't care about emergency services. They took 3 months to fix my both blocked toilets. They gave us bad dryer and we have been trying to get fix dryer for 8 months.

The apartment setting is nice - location is great. Rent is fair. Maintenance issues are not handled promptly and this is a concern with less than a month living here. I'm anxious to see if they fix the spraying water from shower head that is already soaking the walls and floor.

I moved here about 7 months ago, and the site manager is the sweetest, and has very good communication with me. Though the maintenance takes a little more time than usual, I understand due to short staffing. Overall, been having a great experience living here in the townhomes.

Avana Chandler has been a quiet, pleasant, and enjoyable place to reside so far, we have been here a total of 4 months and no major complaints yet. The office staff is polite and courteous and listens to our concerns, the work out room is nice and has updated equipment, the pools are clean and attractive as well.

Within a week of moving in, I started counting the days until I could move right back out again. Units are badly maintained. Even the renovated units suffer from poor construction and cheap materials that are often reused/damaged. If you have a dog, do NOT use the "dog park". It's infested with ants and poorly maintained. Grounds are littered with toys and trash. In summer, the pool water is often green And watch out that you aren't being charged for a second rental insurance policy, even after providing proof that you already have a policy. All in all, this is among the worst experiences I've ever had renting in the East Valley.

So far things have been great at Avana Chandler. The leasing staff are the best. They answer questions nicely and are super easy to talk to. The community itself is well maintained. Grass and bushes are always cut. The community is close to everything and so far seems like a safe neighborhood.
