It would be a great place to move if they focused on the residents that live there now...and not the empty apts to get more ppl to move in... just to be ignored..
Disappointing, between the roaches and out-pocket neighbors. These 2 weeks have been the worst. I've made it clear to the management that no one should have been moved into this apartment. It almost feels like that was a rushed discussion on the staff, as the initial apartment I applied for has issues with the flooring that would not have it ready by my move-in date. At first glance it was ok, but once I moved in and started doing my cleaning, you tell and see how I concluded this was not properly clean nor ready for anyone to move in it. I've documented my move-in and sent numerous emails. Yes, they have fixed some of my issues but the main issue that is still problematic as of this email is the roach infestation.

I really liked the attitude of the staff when checking in. They gave me a lot of time and helped me connect utilities, since I don't know English well and I don't know Spanish. They helped me fill out an application and choose a convenient option, taught me how to use the application. Only in Avana I found a rental option from 3 months (in other communities it is necessary to conclude a contract for a year) On the territory of the community, the staff is friendly. The apartment is clean and well maintained. It was a pleasant check-in experience.

Amenities advertised are not made available. Excuses when asked about them. Overall, Apt complex is dirty looking, trash always thrown around or ran over but rent goes up 39.5%. This area is not Buckhead/Brookhaven to be charging these prices. Non residents still able to follow people through the gates. Multiple families living on one Apt. Pool STILL not fixed and open. Trash compartment is CONSTANTLY broke and overflowing out to the driveway. Roaches still in the walls of all these buildings…and yes, have pictures of them in the building walkways and cracks of the building. Can tell painting was done by non professionals as they painting over peeling paint…??

Avana Chase is a quiet gated community with easy access to the highway and great amenities and appliances. I have lived here for three years and overall had a positive experience. If there were anything I would critique is the consistency in pest control and management of the apartment grounds. These things have improved but would like to see that continue to do so.

i was moved in with a cleaned carpet that turned black after i moved it, all they got is facade to lure you to sign the contract.

This is not a place I'd recommend to anyone looking for security or activities like picnics/volleyball or pool for anyone wanting something to do or for families. Gates NEVER work... broken same or next day they actually get them to work. No accountability and no real security.

Would not recommend living here. The apartments have roaches and maintenance does not find long term solutions to issues, they provide a quick fix and you will have to call them again in a few days or weeks for the same issue.

I like living here. Its reasonably quiet and the location is very convenient to the highway. The only thing is the entrance gate is open mostly. If they can keep the gate close it would be great. Overall I like living here.

I move in 3 weeks ago, my unit was supposed to come with a laundry machine and dryer which I still haven't received and per conversations with management, it will take 1 to 2 more weeks to get here. My original move-in date was move 2 weeks because of management and somehow the apt was still not in optimal conditions including dents and punches in doors and walls. The extractor of the bathroom of the master bedroom doesn't work and still hasn't been repaired. The maintenance crew came to the apartment to look at all the broken things, didn't fixed anything left, and haven't come back. I do not have access to any of the amenities as apparent management ran out of keys for the residents so somehow I end up depending on other people opening the door for me at the laundry or gym otherwise inaccessible. I have continuously tried to talk with management and the answer always is we will fix it tomorrow or in a week or a month but nothing has been fixed.

I personally wouldnt suggest these apartments to anyone I know. They are so unorganized. I get emails for maintenance issues that were never checked on. Theyre maintenance staff is very lazy. When someone does come and check thats all they do is a small walk through and never come back. Ive literally been asking for someone to come and fix my apartment since the beginning of the year and nothing has changed besides one visit for a walk through and than nothing ever again. Honestly if it was up to me, I wouldve moved out in March. However, my boyfriend paid up rent til the end of our lease and than his job changed caused us to have to extend our at the last minute. So, we extended. Were just hoping they come and fix the problems so, we will want to transfer our lease to another Greystar property when we move verses breaking our lease or just finishing it and not signing another extension and moving on to the next complex.

Do not move in there is a cockroach and they charge you for pest control and they do nothing, and with the new administration they raised a lot of $$ to the water I paid up to $ 150.00 in a month and there are only 4 people who live there, and before only paid $ 99

Place is trashy.... literally. Gates still constantly get broke. Only one trash compactor for while complex and constantly broke or overflowing - do trash is in the road. Apt buildings themselves are infected with roaches because their pest control service is weak so residents feel no other option but to bomb... causing bugs to go in the walls. Forget even trying to get maintenance out let alone get stuff fixed or fixed the right way the first time. They blame office for not properly putting in orders... office blames maintenance... when in reality its both parties

No one ever answers the phone at the office. If you go there to speak to someone, they are unpleasant and never answer questions clearly - especially concerning unexpected additional charges. Maintenance requests go months (6 or more) with no response. The gates do not work. There is a serious roach issue that they do absolutely nothing about, but they have an almost ridiculous initial and monthly pet fee. There are surprise charges of some sort almost every month. Good luck getting an explanation, and if you don't just pay them, there's an additional fee for that as well. These guys are greedy. They could care less about the tenants.

THE WORST APARTMENT IVE EVER LIVED IN! They are super nice when you go in to visit and when you move in BUT they are never available when you call the office, it has taken maintenance 3 weeks to come out to look at an issue with my tub and sink stopping up (still hasn’t been fixed, going on 3-4 months). MORE ISSUES TOO LONG TO LIST! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX and that 90% has to do with management. Kristanis and Jessica are the worst property manager/ assistant manager I’ve ever dealt with.

In 11 months there were two robberies, people driving at high speed, they never serve the gates, nothing is as shown in the photos, they deliver the apartment in bad conditions and then they want to charge you what they never fixed, the people in the office are unkind.

Lived here for 2 years. Throughout the whole time I've struggled with staff and lack of communication about maintenance issues as well as lack of compensation for unacceptable living conditions. I've been locked out of my apartment from maintenance messing with my lock. I've been without heat and, recently, have gone 24 days without a working AC unit. The gate is a nightmare. The pool is gross. If you have a maintenance problem you best believe you will have to go out of your way to encourage them to provide info about how it will be handled. Otherwise you will be sitting at waiting for days for some kind of response. I'll be very happy to be moving out in July. The office staff is friendly but don't let it fool you like it fooled me. They don't really care.

In my opinion this apartment complex is the worst place I have ever lived in. Less than a month living there and they choose to paint the parking lot in the property creating traffic jams, making it difficult to go in and out of the property, not having anyone controlling traffic so at anytime someone could just crash into you and you will have to pay for the repairs because management response to any inconvenience caused by the "improvement" of the property is "we sent out emails letting you know we were working on the property" so any problem you might come across because of their "improvement" will be at your expense. There many other apartments around the are with way better management. Take your time and look elsewhere.

I Recently moved into Carrington Chase Apartments. I found the staff Knowledgeable and very helpful, the grounds are pleasant and kept well. The whole moving experience was great. Once again thanks to the ladies in the office and Jose.
My husband and I have been living here since January and we love living here so far. The management and staff is very friendly and always helpful. There only have been some minor ever since we moved here but all problems got fixed quickly. The gate always works and the gym just got renewed(new and more equipment to work out with!)
Negative 1 rating!!! This has been the most HORRIBLE renting experience ever. The office staff never do what they say they will do, the apartment is roach infested since day one move in and things are not working in the apartment stove , bath room exhaust lights etc. and they NEVER fixed them after repeated request verbal and written. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Terrible management a waste of money for an entire year!
I would like to say that this has been a very positive moving experience. The office staff has been very accommodating. The maintenance crew has been great! The place was in good condition, very clean. Everyone was very kind. Thank you for making a stressful situation into a very positive move. We look forward to living here.

If you like the smell of mildew, old AC units and bugs this place is for you. Would rather live in my car then stay a whole year here. The renovations are useless. There is still mold and mildew.
