Lenox Village is tucked into the nook of I-85 and State Route 400, just below Lenox Mall. It’s bordered by Lenox Rd. NE on its east side, and is home to affordable single- and two-bedrooms as well as ritzy townhomes and condos. This densely packed strip of Buckhead has some of the greatest rental variety in the area.
With proximity to some of the beset shopping centers around and the restaurants and nightclubs of Buckhead, Lenox Village is a conveniently located locale. It’s also great for professionals, regardless of where you’re commuting to thanks to the nearby highways. The area is largely residential and has few eateries or shops within its compact borders. I have never had so much stress added to my life simply by the place that I live. I have now lived in two units at this complex and have had a total of 4 water and/or sewage leaks. I have had 7 packages stolen in the past year either from my mailbox being tampered with or the poor package management system. The complex and post office tells you there's nothing they can do, so where else am I supposed to turn? Things are constantly breaking in my unit and it takes calling maintenance and the office at least three times before they can figure out how to correctly fix the issue. The gate is always broken. You will see at least 3 piles of dog poop simply walking from your door to your car. The complex is now adding 'trash violation' fees without any notice of what the violation was, which is honestly laughable considering the trash doesn't get picked up half the days. They also try to charge "late package pickup" fees when the package locker is only accessible 10am-6pm during the work week. With the amount of money this complex has cost me in lost packages, and ruined stuff from leaks, trying to charge me additional fees is the funniest thing I've ever heard. Not only your money, but your sanity is at risk if you move here.

My problem is also the same as everyone. Management is soooo suck. I would never and ever recommend to anyone to live there. It was a nightmare for me. I never live in any place that sucks like this before. The maintenance has to call 10 times and then they will show up. One time they called me and said they will come to fix things at 4 pm. I have to get off work earlier 2 hours to waiting for them but at the end i was waiting for nothing. nobody show up. And office leasing never care anything about you. I called to ask about my lease they said they will call back but nobody call me back at all. It happened to me more than 10 time and every time it like this. They always said they change owner already, but i still see it the same like ppl in 2 years ago review. I saw homeless man crawl underneath the gate and got to walk around the apartment complex. And In the room smell like smoke from the cigarette all the time. On the path way smell like dog pee and poop. At first when you asked to do apartment tours they are so nice to you but after you move in they don’t really care.

I'm here to share my experience as someone who recently attempted to apply for an apartment at this place. Everyone was super helpful and attentive up until the day I gave them my $500 application fee (non-refundable) From that moment on, it was like a rollercoaster of disappointments. First off, the apartment I had my sights set on got handed to someone else the morning after I applied for it. Apparently the website is not actually "up to date." The lady handling my application either quit or got the boot a few days later, taking any evidence of my "two months rent free" promise with her. My move-in date got pushed back twice, and I was told not once, but twice, that I'd have the lease in my hands by the end of the day—only to be left hanging. I finally had enough of the runaround and reached out to their parent company. Only then did they promise that the property manager would get in touch within hours. But... she vanished for the weekend before making that call. The assistant property manager was also supposed to give me a ring on Saturday, but that never happened either. Honestly, this whole process felt like a cruel joke, and I had to shell out $500 for the privilege of experiencing it. So, we decided to cut our losses and check out a townhome in Decatur. We toured, put down a deposit, and signed a lease within just three days. I can't stress enough how relieved I am about this decision. I hope I can persuade you to do the same. Take a look at the other recent reviews, and you'll see that the red flags I encountered during the application process seep into every facet of how this property is managed. STAY AWAY??

This location has been thru several different management companies in the last 3 years which should tell you a lot. No one in office is trained properly and they don't really care with helping the residents. Not luxury at all. Trashcans cover one of the other entrances which could be opened instead of being blocked by trash cans. Smell of trash throughout the hallways. Rarely will someone at the leasing office answer. When you do go to the leasing office the people that work there are not friendly at all. Ask a question and you will be given a short answer like they don't want to be bothered. When you do get an answer from the office they don't know how to answer any questions and state they will have to call you back. The gate is always broken I could go on and on. Ready for my lease to end so I can leave this nightmare!!!

I’ve lived here over 4 years and loved it until management changed to The Kendrick. My A/c unit was broken for week! Then they keep adding late charges on to my rent even tho I am paying on time and even put an eviction notice on my door. I’ve spoke to the manager about this four different times and each time it’s “we’ll fix it”. However to this day the charges are still there! Not to mention the influx of break ins even thought we are suppose to have security smh! Ready to leave this place.

I have had issues ever since before my move in date. My apartment had a leak which delayed the move in. Even after move in they were still in the apartment repair the leak previously there. My point is why put an apartment up for rent that you all knew still needed repairs. After moving in I have things in the wall that was obviously painted over and looks tacky. My floor plan was correct but nothing in the apartment was remodeled. The appliances look early 2000. I only get hot water out of ne of my bathroom sinks. I have a big birds or wasp nest on my porch that no one has came out to resolve even after contacting management when I originally moved here. The fees that you all are seeing in the reviews are 100% correct. And I was not advised of these fees. They also state residents will pay higher water bill because we pay for water at our apartment, as well as for the pool. As if that shouldn’t be included with the high rent they get alone from each tenant. I have never had to pay a locker for my packages every month. Even when your not getting a package or in the package come to your door. If you don’t pick your package up within a certain amount of days “Luxer” states the apparent. Complex has a fee for holding the package. There are homeless ppl that are in the area a lot. I had just returned home with my hands filled with my young daughter, and a random man walked into my home. Luckily I quickly protected us. After speaking with the office, they are aware of the man I described and states that they have had issues with ppl docking to “squat” at their apartments. Which makes it even worse to say that they hate is broken multiple times through the day and I don’t believe the whole perimeter is secured with the number of homeless ppl I’ve caught. Seemed like a quiet place but after moving here, they do have frequent activity, mostly DV. The office has sent out an email once when I moved here in regards to it but I’ve seen things occur on multiple occasions. Also the only thing that looks nice is the front office and pool area. The halls ways to the apartments are absolutely disgusting.. and the environment always looks nasty, especially by the trash in a consistent basis. I have seen rats walking past this as well. I say all this to say … weigh out your options.

Property managers hang up on you when you call. Nothing is properly handled or taken care of. Rules that are set are never enforced. Gate is constantly getting broken by nonresidential and residential people. Multiple homeless people have been found walking around inside the apartments amenities. Nonresidential people trespassing and walking around at night. Huge block parties being thrown every weekend. No parking due to these parties and other cars parking sideways. One security person for the whole apartment complex who doesn’t have any weapons. Cars are constantly speeding through the parking lot almost hitting other cars and people.

The property is beautiful on the exterior the management is extremely unprofessional refuses to insure emergency work orders are completed by maintenance. False advertising for promotions when requested information about promotions simply states advertised promotions “do not apply to potential tenant or approved applicants.” Does not pick up office phones for tenants once moved in. Every concern is resulted in leaving a message with answering system despite being in office and available. I was directly outside the office watching them not pick up the phone.

Not very good. Neighbors are loud sometimes really late into the night, no answers for maintenance or from office, parking is hard to find in front of my building sometimes, roaches everywhere in unit. The good thing is the one very nice lady that’s the groundskeeper that drives around in a cart.

Don’t move here! They tack on astronomical fees out of no where, A/C units are also broken, they are under staffed, the leasing agents are great, but the manager is a piece of work. They had pit holes in the road for over 6 months, the front gate is broken every weekend, & the gym has had missing flooring for two years now! Let’s not forget they haven’t turned the water fountain back on in the gym either and if water leaks happen it’s at the expense of the tenants, your bill will surely reflect that!

The management is the absolute worst. Packages get stolen constantly and all they tell you is "not our problem". The pool is always closed so don't ever plan on using it. The crime within the apartment complex is horrible i watched multiple cars get broken into and even some apartments. oh and the best part is they sent me to collections for a bill they never sent me and i had to fight it to get it taken off my credit score (which cost me even more money) and when i asked why they never sent the bill "Oh we must have forgot to notify you" Save your time, sanity, and money and live somewhere else... literally anywhere else

Please find somewhere else to live. Management is trash. They never answer the phone or respond to emails. PACKAGES KEEP GETTING STOLEN from the LEASING OFFICE and of course management does nothing about it . Plumbing sucks, several apartments have flooded MULTIPLE TIMES due to plumbing issues. Management will cut water off with barely a warning and at the worst times of the day. Dog poop everywhere. Gate hardly ever works. Just don’t do it

This place is ridiculous! I've lived here for over 8 years and past two years this place has completely changed. Dog poop everywhere, management doesn't care, homeless people sleeping in the gym. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Lived here for over a year. Months of issues with no resolution but hey at least we got a dog park? The management team at Avana around the city is comprised of some of the worst people I have ever had to deal with. I know a few people who live at other Avana owned complexes and they have had nothing but issues as well, so its not limited to the complex. Its the management as a whole that is inept. Security and maintenance were an issue as well. While I lived here there were multiple fights in the parking lots, attempted break ins, squatters, property damage, and garbage everywhere. The gate rarely worked. And our in unit laundry that we paid for never functioned and was never fixed after multiple requests. The maintenance men were not the problem. After further inspection, the lines to the dryers were clogged for the building. The complex needed to hire someone to clean the vents out but never did. HUGE FIRE HAZARD. They already lost one complex to fire in 2021. Might as well make it two I guess. The pricing for the area is fine, but I took the first chance I had to move out. I implore anyone even thinking about living here to look elsewhere and avoid Avana complexes as a whole.

Avana Lenox has great maintenance, keep grounds nicely. Noise and speeding is a problem. Large apartment complex. Getting packages has become a problem as they get stolen. Gym/Clubhouse is nice Current leasing staff are very friendly.

Its not great. Rent charged does not match the services provided. There are safety concerns and packages stolen regularly. And the grounds are unkept. Maintenance is the only plus.

COVID has hit all industries, factories are months behind schedule producing spare parts, third-party vendors are days behind schedule, even plumbing emergencies are taking days to get somebody to get onsite on occasions, hiring people is very difficult since they are afraid of contact with residents. The multifamily industry is not an exception. We have been working short-staffed all year, using temporary help not available on a daily basis and depending on goods and services providers suffering the same difficulties. Hopefully, this global situation is over soon and we can all go back to normal. We apologize for the inconvenience. We are working on improving our feedback to the residents.
Avana Lenox seemed to be luxury living but from my move in date all the way up until now has been unprofessional and annoying.

Do NOT move to Avana Lenox unless you want constant problems, a halfhearted attempt to fix any maintenance issues, people speeding and blaring music throughout the property. There is no security or control of who comes in the gate. People will pull up in from of the gate and block it until someone lets them in. Management does nothing about controlling / enforcing rules.

New management sent out rude email about communication and contacting them. I emailed about a problem with neighbor and she emailed back rudely a couple of times. The office NEVER answers the phone and thus the calls get transferred to the call center who also either dont answer the phone or takes 15-20 min to do so and they never relay the msgs to the office. Community had flowers and water on the scans Lenox sign back in 2016 now theres not a single flower anywhere around the complex. So basic and cheap but the rent continues to skyrocket.

Good morning Anonymous, I regret to hear our response about the noise complaint did not meet your expectations. COVID-19 has change patterns in a difficult way. Resident works from home, students attend online classes, young kids play around at unusual hours, among other scenarios. Unfortunately, not knowing who you are I cannot give you a specific response about your case and the given answer. As far as phone calls, the most effective way of communication is via email. Our leasing office has high traffic and while we are serving a customer we do not answer the phones. If you send us an email requesting us to call you back, we will do so as soon as possible. Last but not least, our landscaping is beautiful, our owner decided to use a different style of plants that do not include flowers but our landscaping service is here every week making sure everything looks pristine.
Average Apartment complex that is cheaply built.
I think this a great up and coming apartment complex. With a few more tweaks this could be the it spot. The staff is great and friendly. Im glad they got new people in that care about making this place better.

While my move-in experience was a complete nightmare my apartment was not ready, I had to go back and forth for hours with management about moving in the day of my scheduled move-in, trying to be offered a less than layout than the one signed and agreed to it does mot take away from the beauty of Avana Lenox. The amenities are so convenient and friendly and the location is unbeatable. So far, so good.

I have resided at Avana Lenox ...for over one year, Im extremely pleased with the location in Buckhead as shopping and great restaurants are near by. The gym, pool and clubhouse are top notch..the package concierge and the trash pick up are convenient and efficient. Additionally given the bang for your buck..the prices for a rental here is easily affordable. Great neighbors and well managed.

You pay for a luxe package system, that you can only access when the office is open - for months now. They rarely pick up the phone in the office, and have a forwarded answering system all day that doesn't actually route any messages back. Terrible communication of projects going on in the complex. Not enough parking in general but good luck on the weekend. Apartment smells like weed often.....but the actual unit is cute and in a great location. It just feels like they don't prioritize their residents, but definitely pass on an abundance of bonus fees for the property.

I have been searching for an apartment complex that has it all and Avana Lenox was the only place I found that had everything I was seeking. I feel like Im in luxurious home, not an apartment. The location is amazing, the price is the best Ive seen for Atlanta, and the amenities are great!

This community is in the perfect location with easy access to both 400 and 85 making the commute to almost anywhere easy. The apartments very nice and theres plenty of parking and nice amenities. Ive been living here for two years and have no complaints.

The apartments are modern & well maintained. I especially like the architectural detail that makes it feel like home. All maintenance issues were rectified in a very timely manner. Overall, I am very satisfied.

My move in ex per cent was very poor. The leasing manger even offered to give me my deposit back on the day of move in because my floors in my apartment were not finished. Since Ive moved in I have had to call the office everyday for one reason or another. I have never experience such a poor move in experience before. The maintenance men are very helpful.

We moved here last year and the office staff was very flexible with us. Barbeth and Katara in the leasing office were available to answer any questions we've had over the last year and quickly resolve issues. This year we wanted to switch apartments but stay at Avana Lenox because we love the neighborhood and area so much. Barbeth and the manager Katie were so helpful through the whole process of figuring out which new unit we would take. 10/10 would recommend
