Avana Southview is a professional community that takes care of their residents! In the office, Karla is one of the nicest, and most professional and compassionate person I have ever met. She goes above and beyond to take care of our needs.

We are happy living at Avana Southview. We are glad we decided to move here.

Great place to live. Thick walls. Borders on a well-maintained private golf course. Professional, responsive, knowledgeable, competent Maintenance Team and Management. Easy highway access. You get what you pay for. An added plus is that you benefit from accessing the helpful resources of the Inver Grove Heights Police, Fire, and EMS.

It is a nice location. Good neighborhood. The people in the apartment building are nice and respectful.

The apartments are beautiful and the people are helpful and friendly.

Ever since I moved in, it’s been a great experience. Any questions or concerned or met swiftly and that’s something I appreciate as a resident here. Very clean Apartments . Very nice. Great community.

The complex is very nice and the amenities are great. The staff is on it with maintenance repairs/ the online portal makes it super easy to pay rent. There's lots of parking options which makes it great during the rain and snow.

Avana Southview provides a quiet living experience in an area convenient to shopping, entertainment, and located near major road ways for easy access to other areas of the Twin Cities. The maintenance staff are particularly excellent.

Avana Southview is a fine, quality, pet-friendly residential community. I am quite happy living here. The Management, Maintenance Team, and Housekeeping Staff are all first rate.

Avana Southview is a great place to live. I've lived here for over 10 years and don't plan to move. Diana, Karla and Kiera in the office are very friendly and professional. Alex and Justin on the maintenance team are also very helpful.

Not so friendly management makes the living situation very difficult. I have never had a member of management be outside of the office to check grounds and occupancy, once. Be more involved.

The community is very friendly and welcoming, i have only lived here 2 weeks but it has been better than any other apartment i have lived in.

Avana is actually a very helpful community. They answered my request for maintenance within hours and fixed my issue within 3 days. Lovely service.

I have submitted a couple different maintenance request during the three months I've lived at Avana Southview. The maintenance team has been great. They address issues very quickly and fix any issues. They were also really good at communicating with me about the status of my maintenance request. My biggest complaint about Avana Southview in general would be that it is difficult to get in contact with the leasing office. I have had to contact them via email in the past and almost never get a reply without either multiple emails or calling.

I couldn't be happier finding my new home at Avanna on Southview! Not only are the units absolutely beautiful, and very spacious but the community as a whole is so welcoming and kind! I was raised in IGH and it is very nice to return home to my roots and have found such a nicely renovated location to move into! I think they have done an excellent job with updating the buildings here and you truly can't beat the location!

We are disappointed in our experience so far with Avana Southview (from application, to touring, to leasing, to inspection, to the unit itself). We hope this is an exception to the usual process, but it is worth noting.

Avana Southview is nice because it's near the city and Robert Street while still feeling like it's in its own world. A little green pocket of peace. It's a beautiful area and well priced apartments.

The apartment is alright. The windows are scary and seem like they will just fall out at any second. The ac unit is so old that I can barely turn the knobs and gives no indication of setting to a specific temperature. I have received countless email threats about the actions of a few bad residents and how it will affect everyone else that lives here. Maintenance doesn’t understand that your apartment is your home and so they feel free to walk in anytime without giving notice. The washer/dryer in unit are nice but they are tiny and will not actually clean things if they have dirt or debris on them (I washed a small beach blanket on it’s own 4 times and it still had sand/dirt loose on the surface. The lease wasn’t clear about utilities and charges so expect an extra like $75-$150 for random things that don’t affect your unit.

I have lived at Avana Southview for several years and thoroughly enjoy it. The staff is very responsive and friendly. They take excellent care of their residents and their property. I would highly recommend Avana Southview to everyone.

Apartment complex is quiet, conveniently located to shopping and bus transport. Has well beautiful manicured grounds. Garage parking and extra storage is available. Weight room, swimming pool, and parcel pick-up room are additional attributes. There is a non-smoking addendum in the lease contract. There is a pet playground area.

Leasing staff has been nothing short of amazing. As well as the property managers. Haven’t been here long but definitely enjoy it so far.

I love the location, fireplace in my apartment and layout of my home. Management is quick to make good anything out of place. Grounds are beautiful and staff is friendly and attentive.

We have had many problems with Avana regarding communication. They entered our apartment without notifying us and also towed our vehicle with very minimal warning. They do the bare minimum to meet legality issues and don’t make an effort to make their residents happy. I would never recommend this apartment to anyone.

Amazing service always provided in Avana Southview

Little help from the front office, car was towed that clearly had a sticker in, ridiculous price hikes and high electric bills because most units have drafty windows and non energy efficient appliances, including air conditioners. Took a month to get the kitchen ceiling fixed that was leaking due to a 3rd floor issue. Sink over flowed and the maintenance blamed me when it was due to another unit upstairs who would not let maintenance in. Easy to get a contact high from all the pot and open drug deals right outside the front door at 95 building.

Avana is doing better and better at making things flow easier for tenants.

The apartment is spacious and cute. However, management was aware of a bug problem before we moved in and did not tell us how bad it was or did not do a through enough inspection so we were not aware of how bad the problem was until we moved in. It has caused some unrest as we have felt like we can't set up our kitchen until after this is sufficiently dealt with.

It has been nothing but problems and stress since I moved in here. The management does not care about anyone who lives here one bit. Our apartment was flooded because pipes bursted on floor above us and now has water damage all over ceilings and walls and they are saying we are fine to stay here ?! I was forced to evacuate and was in hotel for 2 nights and now they put some fans in here and its fine? Not how that works at all. This is just one of the numerous problems, do not rent from here!! I have always paid everything on time and followed the rules and they cant compensate me in anyway for all these problems I have had to deal with, including being forced to evacuate my home in the middle of the night with my two dogs and having no where to go. Just awful they dont care at all. Do not rent from here let me say it one more time do not rent from avana southview!

This is a beautiful, great place to live. Management and maintenance does their job and attempts to create/maintain comfort and beauty. I hope more residents take pride in our home and work together to keep our community safe, peaceful, and beautiful.

Great place to live, nice location of community near to almost everything, beautiful view from the apartment, friendly staff and amazing amenities

My apartment flooded a couple months ago and while it wasn't the best experience to go through the office team was very helpful through it all. Dreya the building manager was great at following up with me and making sure I knew all my options. She was nice and I actually felt like she cared about me and my concerns, which I haven't felt with some previous people in the office a couple years ago. The community could use some updates, but the office team has been great.

In order to get your application “processed” they require a $50.00 Application fee along with a $250.00 Administration fee. IF you are approved, they keep it all. If you are approved and you change your mind, they keep it all. IF you are denied by them, they will refund the Admin fee as a “courtesy”. So really when they say the application fee is $50.00, what they really mean is to apply and be approved it is $300.00. Outrageous. Please also note that when you do receive your Rental Agreement, LOOK OVER THIS CAREFULLY. The “special” they have as of today is 1.5 months rent free. I was told by their office staff that that was the special for everyone. And it did not depend on the unit someone rents. On the rental agreement, it only shows one month as the special. They also said verbally that the additional monthly recurring fees are around 200.00, depending on the size of apartment and how many people are in the home. On the rental agreement, knowing how many people would be in the home, they did NOT disclose what the monthly cost would be for a number of items. However, the “fixed” items that are (I’m assuming a standard for everyone regardless of how many occupants) were listed. Also, if you chose to rent from here please please make sure to ask questions beforehand. Anything you can think of. When I asked if an underground parking spot was included in the rent I was told “unfortunately no” - to some people this may not be a big deal, but people that have apartments not facing the parking lot it could be. Because in Avana’s lease agreement they state that the cameras they have are recorded but not monitored, and are for the use of their company and renters should not rely on the cameras. Seems kinda crappy to me. I get not wanting to be responsible, but there should also be a level of security you can count on seeing as how a lot of renters prefer secured entryways. They should also feel secure about their vehicle. Because of my recent experience with this company, sadly they will keep my 300.00, and I will not be renting from them at this time.

Avana Southview is a beautiful place to live. The staff is attentive and courteous. The maintenance people do a great job and are courteous.

It isn’t a great place to live, the management could care less about you, the only good thing is the maintenance workers but the work they do isn’t even good. They can only do what the management will let them and management doesn’t let them fix things the way they should be fixed. 0/10.

Avana Southview is a good community to live. Management and staff are professional, resourceful, and responds, in a timely manner of any problems or issues that arises. The community is well maintained.

I hadn’t even lived here a week before I found my first COCKROACH in the unit. Like others reviews, I agree that management has been horrible when asked to help with this situation. It’s been almost 2 months now and as I’m organizing things to get out of here, there are STILL cockroaches I’m finding in the unit. If they’re in mine, they’re everywhere. Don’t move here.

After living at Avana Southview for the past 11 years, I still enjoy living here. This is a very friendly and pleasant community, and the on-site Management, and 24-hour Maintenance service is a big plus. The complex grounds in the Spring and Fall are especially attractive, and the grounds are well maintained.
