My experience here has been really good and my neighbors are friendly and helpful with holding doors open for one another and I really appreciate it.
Very affordable for what you get! The amenities are nice, there are multiple options for floor-plans, including two bed and two bath split (excellent for roommates), and in-unit laundry with full-sized (!!!) machines. Lots of outdoor seating available for the spring and summer.
I like when people clean up behind there pets in the building and out the building because sometimes people don’t

My wife and I are happy living at Avana Southview. You get what you pay for. The heated, underground garage is a real plus, as is Inver Grove Heights Police and Fire, and proximity to shopping and highways. The Maintenance Team is competent and highly responsive to necessary maintenance requests. We are also happy with the Property Management Team.

Great place to live. Thick walls. Borders on a well-maintained private golf course. Professional, responsive, knowledgeable, competent Maintenance Team and Management. Easy highway access. You get what you pay for. An added plus is that you benefit from accessing the helpful resources of the Inver Grove Heights Police, Fire, and EMS.

The complex is very nice and the amenities are great. The staff is on it with maintenance repairs/ the online portal makes it super easy to pay rent. There's lots of parking options which makes it great during the rain and snow.

Avana Southview is a great place to live. I've lived here for over 10 years and don't plan to move. Diana, Karla and Kiera in the office are very friendly and professional. Alex and Justin on the maintenance team are also very helpful.

Not so friendly management makes the living situation very difficult. I have never had a member of management be outside of the office to check grounds and occupancy, once. Be more involved.

I have submitted a couple different maintenance request during the three months I've lived at Avana Southview. The maintenance team has been great. They address issues very quickly and fix any issues. They were also really good at communicating with me about the status of my maintenance request. My biggest complaint about Avana Southview in general would be that it is difficult to get in contact with the leasing office. I have had to contact them via email in the past and almost never get a reply without either multiple emails or calling.

I couldn't be happier finding my new home at Avanna on Southview! Not only are the units absolutely beautiful, and very spacious but the community as a whole is so welcoming and kind! I was raised in IGH and it is very nice to return home to my roots and have found such a nicely renovated location to move into! I think they have done an excellent job with updating the buildings here and you truly can't beat the location!

Avana Southview is nice because it's near the city and Robert Street while still feeling like it's in its own world. A little green pocket of peace. It's a beautiful area and well priced apartments.

The apartment is alright. The windows are scary and seem like they will just fall out at any second. The ac unit is so old that I can barely turn the knobs and gives no indication of setting to a specific temperature. I have received countless email threats about the actions of a few bad residents and how it will affect everyone else that lives here. Maintenance doesn’t understand that your apartment is your home and so they feel free to walk in anytime without giving notice. The washer/dryer in unit are nice but they are tiny and will not actually clean things if they have dirt or debris on them (I washed a small beach blanket on it’s own 4 times and it still had sand/dirt loose on the surface. The lease wasn’t clear about utilities and charges so expect an extra like $75-$150 for random things that don’t affect your unit.

Apartment complex is quiet, conveniently located to shopping and bus transport. Has well beautiful manicured grounds. Garage parking and extra storage is available. Weight room, swimming pool, and parcel pick-up room are additional attributes. There is a non-smoking addendum in the lease contract. There is a pet playground area.

We have had many problems with Avana regarding communication. They entered our apartment without notifying us and also towed our vehicle with very minimal warning. They do the bare minimum to meet legality issues and don’t make an effort to make their residents happy. I would never recommend this apartment to anyone.

Little help from the front office, car was towed that clearly had a sticker in, ridiculous price hikes and high electric bills because most units have drafty windows and non energy efficient appliances, including air conditioners. Took a month to get the kitchen ceiling fixed that was leaking due to a 3rd floor issue. Sink over flowed and the maintenance blamed me when it was due to another unit upstairs who would not let maintenance in. Easy to get a contact high from all the pot and open drug deals right outside the front door at 95 building.

The apartment is spacious and cute. However, management was aware of a bug problem before we moved in and did not tell us how bad it was or did not do a through enough inspection so we were not aware of how bad the problem was until we moved in. It has caused some unrest as we have felt like we can't set up our kitchen until after this is sufficiently dealt with.

It has been nothing but problems and stress since I moved in here. The management does not care about anyone who lives here one bit. Our apartment was flooded because pipes bursted on floor above us and now has water damage all over ceilings and walls and they are saying we are fine to stay here ?! I was forced to evacuate and was in hotel for 2 nights and now they put some fans in here and its fine? Not how that works at all. This is just one of the numerous problems, do not rent from here!! I have always paid everything on time and followed the rules and they cant compensate me in anyway for all these problems I have had to deal with, including being forced to evacuate my home in the middle of the night with my two dogs and having no where to go. Just awful they dont care at all. Do not rent from here let me say it one more time do not rent from avana southview!

If at any time you do not feel comfortable living in your unit throughout the repair process, you have the option to contact your renter's insurance for hotel accommodations. This is a beautiful, great place to live. Management and maintenance does their job and attempts to create/maintain comfort and beauty. I hope more residents take pride in our home and work together to keep our community safe, peaceful, and beautiful.
