We’ve had a great time being a resident here, though at times there are some neighbor disturbances with loud music playing after 11pm when it’s supposed to be quiet time, maintenance team is quick in responding with needed repairs and all great office staff, it’s always a pleasure to be here.

Overall pretty decent living experience. Had a leak in the ceiling, filed a maintenance report, didn’t hear back for a month, talked to front desk, and the leak was fixed in the next 2 weeks. Saw one roach in apartment, that was scary, but haven’t seen any since ????. Trash likes to get loose around the complex (birds pick at trash, trash sits in dumpster areas for awhile). But our apartment suits our needs and allows us to live in a convenient area so it’s chill

I’ve been personally shot at 2x when someone was trying to break into my car and in a span of 8 months, there have been 7 on-site shooting incidents….and those are just the ones I know about. The leasing and resident services team averages a month or more in getting back to you. They are also extremely rude anytime you speak to them. The property manager is rude as well and also does not respond. You can never reach the office by phone. No one ever returns calls or answers submitted concerns from the resident portal, etc. Mail is forwarded to an inconvenient post office. There is always trash everywhere. They also had no helpful things to say when I asked about reporting an insanely loud neighbor. Worst run community I’ve ever seen. The maintenance team however, is amazing! They are great!

If I could give this complex 0 stars I would. Everything was fine when I first moved in, they were very accommodable in the beginning but shortly after very shortly after that changed. My toilet began leaking water along with my sink and I placed a maintenance request which took two months to get looked at then when the toilet kept leaking even after a toilet change I submitted another maintenance request and it wasn't until I left a bad review that they decided to come and take another look then they finally did their job and came to fix the problem. Which was water in my walls. This problem was fixed in the summer time and a month later I am having the same problems, the toilet is leaking AGAIN! This building has had multiple emergency water shut offs for the past few months due to other units having leaking and it still has yet to be fixed. Now my daughter has black mold growing inside of her closet that is starting from the bathroom where there was water in the walls! I have been submitting multiple maintenance requests and making multiple calls and all they could tell me was they have 730 other maintenance requests and they are answered in the order they are received mind you I have a daughter that has a breathing tube and severe asthma and I have mentioned this to them on multiple occasions. I have even asked for a unit transfer and have not heard back about that either. If I were you I wouldn't even try my luck, the price is fine and fits exactly what you are getting

So far the apartment complex has been amazing in many ways. The only problem is how long maintenance takes to come but other than that it’s pretty good.

It takes forever to get anything resolved by management. You get put on hold for long period time on the phone and get the run around when talking with staff in person. Been trying to transfer to a new unit for years, was told not able to several times after being told by management it would be ok. Get it together people.

I want to say to others don’t waste your money in this building, you will see the trash everywhere. This is about 5 months that I am living here I didn’t see any one to clean the stairs. Before signing the lease all the staff is acting good after that they even don’t hear you voice and also they kick you out from the leasing office. I am super disappointed that I am living in this property which the leasing office didn’t talk with you as human.

To much trash all around the complex not garbage cans if so their always full, rats and birds eating out of the trash and now roaches in the building is nasty

I've lived on the property thru different owners/management and have been mostly lucky with respectful/quiet neighbors. When maintenance inside the apartment is needed, requests are fulfilled quickly. I appreciate the security that drives the property.

Maintenance never responds or shows up when you put in a request. They will complete the order virtually on their end so it looks completed in the books, however it’s a physically incomplete job and you are left with the issue.

I like it here almost two years living here they have gotten better with the maintenance request double time since I first moved in and I wish the indoor pools were open year round for our enjoyment because we are paying for them all year round but only get to use a few months out the year, never been to the theater here I believe it’s closed and the game room is usually for their back up leading office if something happens to the main so but other than that I enjoy my one bed room it has all the things I require.

It was recently closed for renovations but has been reopened since July. As for the movie theater and game room, these amenities are available for residents to rent for private events. We encourage you to take advantage of these spaces for any gatherings or events you may have in the future. Ok place to stay if you don’t mind all the foot traffic from non resident cutting through the property. Loud music and speeding cars. No courtesy for other residents. Some staff are rude and inconsiderate, great maintenance team, not very clean property.

We actually moved in due the office staff. They were so down the earth and kinda. We were a little disappointed at first whet we found out that apartment that we viewed would be the one we were actually moving in, but I feel we ended up with something more updated what it lacks in storage space it made up in charm.

I think it is better than other places. But it has gotten a lot less safe, and noise and police sometimes. And there are some people who drink and cause scenes at night.

We’re not pleased at all because of several reasons. The pool has been closed more than it has been open this summer so far. We have to pay 25.00 dollars for trash pick up but we throw out our own garbage. Lastly not able to move to a newer unit because I didn’t pass the inspection. I’ve live in the same apartment for over ten years so of course there’s wear and tear but can’t move to a more updated apartment. It doesn’t make sence. I had to give at least one star to summit this review

Recently, there has been no safety. Some people are coming here to disturb others at night. A lot of noises and the people responsible aren’t getting evicted.

Shay was the best and made sure my move in was smooth and care free. I was able to get in so quickly and I love my new apartment! The amenities were also a pleasant surprise. 10/10 would rent again.

Don’t get me wrong the apartments are really cute the area isn’t folks are really dirty here and loud and have no respect for peoples property (cars) we have security guards but they be in the cut not doin they job it’s a gates community but the gate is always open and there’s an opening in the back and bums be coming in breaking into cars or they be hiding out under staircases asking for drugs and money All this and we can’t break the lease they want us to pay almost 5k to break it when it’s not safe here

Avana is fine neighbor wise, I haven’t had any problems since moving in but the maintenance is trash. Plus I had a few problems with my apartment when I moved in and did not see the problems until I had to start using all of the things and now I’m trying to have them fixed and it seems that no one is ever available or they come and say okay I need to grab certain items to fix the problem and never return.

This community is unsafe and there id trash everywhere all the time. I own dogs and I think I am the only one in the whole community who cleans up after my dogs.

No communication whatsoever during move in process. I signed a welcome letter stating that I can make my move in payment the day I moved in, but as I was en route from New Orleans I get a call stating that I have to come in no later than the day before my move in date to make a payment. I sent my Welcome Letter to the leasing office to show what I signed and tried calling back 3 times with no answer, I then sent my concerns to the property manager since no one was getting back with me and I was frantic about possibly not getting an apartment after being on the road for 3,000 miles. I still got no response that day. The following business day I finally get a call back saying that “it was fine” if I brought in my payment the day of but before 1:30pm and if I were to not make it by then I would not be able to move in, even though I was told by someone earlier in the week the leasing office closes at 6pm and I could have shown up no later than that time so there is no constancy in the information being told to residents. I showed up at 3:30pm due to traffic and the leasing staff was not friendly when I walked in the door. I try to avoid having any interaction with the leasing office.
