Nestled on the Catawba Creek – which is also the South Carolina-North Carolina state line – Steele Creek’s proximity to Charlotte attractions makes it a great place to call home. Its name derives from a small local creek, which was named after an 18th century family of settlers.

Avant at Steele Creek is a excellent place to stay. Relatively quiet. A lot of stores an shops in walking distance. Leasing management is excellent an treat tenants like they are important. Maintenance is on time an work is done in timely fashion.

I've liked here for awhile now and I love it. It's very convenient to my Doctor's office Emergency Room all kinds of shopping stores grocery included and many different restaurant's. The Staff here is very friendly and helpful. I've never had to wait a long time for maintenance to arrive and complete a job. It takes me fifteen minutes to get to the Airport. I recommend Avant over any other community around.

I've been at Avant for many years now and I tell you I just don't love my apartment but I love the Staff and community. We have great amenities even food truck fridays. Lots of shopping stores medical facilities amusement park, Lake Wylie, Premier Outlet, Airport fifteen minutes away, great schools, and great neighbors. Not to mention it's quiet and dog friendly. You just couldn't ask for a better place to call home.

Nice residential complex, quiet place, near many stores and shopping centers, well-maintained territory. It is necessary to pay a little attention to details and correct small defects inside the apartments. But in general I can recommend this residential complex.

The office staff is extremely rude and talk crap about residents when you call. (I have the recordings that we’re sent to corporate) It constantly smells like weed outside. Outside cockroaches walk around in parking lot. Police are called out there daily at night.

The staff is friendly and helpful the maintenance staff is great I love my apartment it's close to the Airport, shopping , dinning, Emergency room, other medical facilities, schools, Carowinds and other great places. Overall I love my apartment. For my first apartment this has been a great experience. Maintenance requests are always followed through promptly and I love that the cable and internet are included with rent. The door to door trash is convenient as well.

There is a water leak in the kitchen wall since December 2018. Reported it many times to the office, but message not given to maintenance crew. Called to speak to the property manager (Kimberly) about this leak and the serious damages to the unit, but she was at lunch and her office staff refused to contact her. Thirty minutes later I called the office to speak to the property manager about this leak. Her office staff again refuse to contact her citing she was in a meeting. When I got a hold of the manager by phone, she down played the seriousness of this water leak by stating she did not needed to be involved or contacted about it. She then hang up the phone on my face. I immediatly went to the office and confronted the manager about her rude behavior. She then asked me to leave the office. It is a shame that the owners of this complex are not aware of how disrespectful the office staff is to the tenants. In particular the office manager!!!

I just applied and cannot wait to move in! I went on the most personal tour today for the 3rd time (I am very thorough). Through speaking with random people on the sidewalks in the community, hanging out at the park, looking at 2 vacant units, and doing an extremely detailed walk of the entire community, I am so happy to have chosen Avant at Steele Creek for my family and I. Come check them out! You won't be disappointed.
