Property Ratings at Aven Chastain
I have made numerous noise complaints and no action has been taken. There doesn’t seem to be any rules about quiet hours. Neighbors make all sorts of noise from 10pm leading into the AM (5am). Despite complaints nothing is resolved and it will prob get worse during the summer
I wanted very much to like this apartment complex, but I have to be honest. Within the single year that I lived here, the cons have outweighed the pros. Even though my apartment was a renovated floor plan, there were still so many things that went wrong. For starters, within 6 months of living there, I encountered roaches, wasps, and several other small insects, no matter how many times I would request pest control (which is a monthly fee added to your rent). I would have to use fogger spray as I would enter and leave my apartment during the summer, when the bugs were at their worst. Next, was the plumbing. My toilet would back up multiple times until finally it actually overflowed and flooded the bathroom, which leads me to my next point — no emergency maintenance! God help you if an emergency happens after hours, because you will only be able to leave a message and not actually reach someone, therefore making you wonder when you will actually get that help. Parking is brutal; despite you paying for parking, you better make sure you are home before 6pm, otherwise you will find yourself parking two whole other buildings away and walk a long way at night — and this is the best part— while the gate is broken, completely making you feel unsafe. During the 13 months of my lease, there was only 2 full months where the gate was actually working. I was also recently slapped with a $25 fine for putting out my trash too early (11 am)because that day I didn’t get off work until after 10pm which would mean I would miss the trash pickup that starts at 8pm, which would mean that I would need to walk across the street to empty my trash in the large compactor on the days that trash valet isn’t operational. So basically they will take your money for these “amenities” when really, you aren’t getting any of them. Again, please consider other options.
Quiet place. Lived here for almost a year now. Good management. Good maintenance.

Bad residents Dog poop everywhere. Multiple evictions. Bad management. Poor service. Expensive rent. Multiple surcharges that should be included.
The complex is nice and safe but dealing with the management has been an absolute disaster. We have been overcharged for utilities for months and they have been useless in resolving the issue. If there wasn’t constant issues and you didn’t have to deal with them it would be great but that is not the case.
