I would like to start by saying I've been a resident for five years and prior to Vanessa taking over the community was ran so much better. Maintenance takes forever to fix things, there was a shooting within the last year, and robberies as well. Look it up, beware the place is not nice as it use to be, neighbors constantly playing loud music, I am moving out and cannot wait.

I have been living in this community for over 2 years and I've absolutely loved everything about Aventine at Miramar. Recently however, I did outgrow my apartment so I decided to transfer to another bigger place. I worked with Brittany as my leasing agent to make this happen. Not only did she make the experience seamless, she was exceptional and consistent with her great customer service. She always took the time to address my questions or concerns and processed everything efficiently. Brittany always had a smile when you walked into the leasing office and you can hear her smile through the phone when you called in! She actually made me appreciate living at Aventine more so because she treated my transfer with care. She also has the patience of a saint with the many times I called in to speak to her. I felt comfortable during the transfer and never did I second guess this community. I appreciate the time she took to make this transfer such a success and I'm so happy to say that I am in love with my new place! I feel just as much at home as I did in my smaller apartment...this is just an upgraded version with more rooms and a garage! This is one of the best communities in West Miramar with kind people, quiet ambiance and you always feel like you're coming home. Thank you Brittany for a job well done! You are truly an asset to Aventine at Miramar!
What can I say....From the incredible staff that was always willing to help and make my stay complete, I appreciate all the things Chantel, Diego and Amy did for me. The security staff (Alan and the others though I don't remember their names) always took a personal interest in my well being. They weren't just security guards at the gate. The maintenance staff was always quick to get our requests resolved and very helpful with explaining things. This was definitely more than an apartment/condo complex. From the Food trucks to the facilities available, it opened the avenues to get to know your neighbors. The value of the 3/2 townhome I was renting was the best around. The location was perfect for everything I was needing to do. I really wish I could have stayed longer but relocating was a move for me in the right direction. MY SINCERE THANKS TO AVENTINE FOR MAKING THE LAST TWO YEARS A HOME AWAY FROM HOME Thank you again for a fabulous stay these past two years.
I should have paid attention to the warning signs... 1st - It started with the false advertising, images on website were not of actual units available, and the quoted rates were for less attractive (standard) units. If you wanted a unit that looked like the images on the website, then you'd pay a premium... 2nd - After my application was accepted, I'd asked to view the unit. During my tour I was shown a 2/2, instead of a 1/1. I asked if my unit would have a patio, and a storage unit (like the 2/2) did, and was told YES.... Didn't find out that this was a lie, until after I signed my lease, and pulled up to my unit in my moving van... no patio & no storage unit... 3rd - Parking is a nightmare 4th - The pool is disgusting, and rarely in a condition that is safe to swim in 5th - The gate at the side entrance is constantly broken 6th - In just 4 months of being in my overpriced (upgraded) unit, I've had to submit multiple service request.... currently without running water in the shower, and no hot water throughout the apartment, for the past 3 days... to say that I am unhappy with this place is an understatement!!!
Overall I’d say this place is a below average place to live. I really liked the lake in the center of the property that you could walk around. There were always numerous birds in and around the lake. My two-bedroom apartment rental was a good size with a nice balcony. If I ever had a problem, maintenance would be quick to fix it. There are multiple things that I did not like about the place. I would not rent here again. When we moved in we found multiple things wrong such as the kitchen sink leaking water anytime you turned it on, water leaking below the sink, garbage disposal not working, both bedroom bathroom sink stoppers not working, the master bathroom toilet kept running when flushed, 2 electrical outlets not working, and a missing patio screen door. All those were fixed once we notified maintenance. A few other problems we encountered: online rent charges were wrong a couple of times, ants near garage door and in both bathrooms (twice), could easily hear neighbor’s music or tv, no hot water two different times, broken main water line into the building which was giving us brown water. The entrance gates with the lift arms work about about 50% of the time. If they didn’t work you would have to drive around the entire apartment complex to get to another entrance. Some residents would just honk their horn (at any hour) until a security person came by and opened it. They have two pools with minimal cleaning and maintenance. The one hot tub they have has been out of service for over a year. Their “state of the art gym”, is pretty small and usually at least one of the machines is broken and has yellow tape around it. There are some paper towel’s to wipe off equipment but thats it, no spray or disinfectant to use. I preferred paying to use the 24 hour fitness gym nearby. Also they kept $75 of our security deposit for cleaning purposes, even though we had it cleaned better on move out than when we moved in and everything working.
A true review from a previous resident... The property has gone downhill due to more people moving into the community and the occasional residents noise and police settling disputes at night. The gym has broken equipment and there is no point in information the homeowners association because they will not replace anything or fix things properly. The parking like any other apartment community is horrible at night. It is very hard to find a park close to your place. There is a cat problem on the left side of the community near the gym and play areas. My family and I never had any real problems until we were in the process of moving out.... My family and I were previous residents at Aventine of Miramar Apartments for two years. We paid our rent on time and never had any major problems with our townhome. We moved out April 2, 2016 and after moving out we were charged three different fees. The first fee was for carpet cleaning, the second fee was for apartment cleaning, and the third fee was for a charge of April 1st and April 2nd rent. I disputed all three charges by providing pictures of our entire unit before we moved out of how clean the townhome was left and had documentation of the carpet being cleaned by a professional company. I disputed the prorated charges as well because the two dates were days within our lease term. After much back and forth the first and second fees were waived due to my documentation. The third fee was not waived. Note to new and current residents: 1. You are being charged for Cable of $35 and you are not being provided the service. Ask for a copy of the ledger they have of all of the fees applied to your account.They stopped providing cable in Jan 2016 and were charging the fees each month and would not remove the fee. 2. Upon moving in and out take pictures of EVERYTHING. That saved me from paying a clean u fee that they were trying to put on us when they always pay a company to clean regardless of how clean you left it. 3. Do not move here. There is a new commuity called Town City Center/Town University that is new and same price.
