Property Ratings at Avenue J
From the beginning until our move in, the wonderful people I have had the pleasure of getting to know over the last few weeks has made this the best decision for my family. This place believes in community and respect and is how you want to live. The building is very new, clean, and has all of the amenities you can imagine. There will also be activities, classes, and even cooking!!
My appointment was preset and I was greeted with professional warmth. Once docs were completed, the interview was pleasant as well as time. I was then given a tour of tow(2) units on the second floor which included the terrace and plans for activities. I give each person encounters (3) both male and female5 stars. I pray I’m selected. Although the area is old, there are new properties in the area and parking under the building is plentiful and secure.
This has been the most unprofessional experience with an apartment complex from beginning to end. Don’t waste your time. It was shady from the get go when the leasing agent told me we were going to hide my income… half the time I couldn’t get a proper answer. Was given the wrong information from the jump. I’m glad my family and I are choosing not to move into this complex. I hope better for the tenants moving in. The parking lot isn’t even very big so it looks like that will be a problem. No balcony or private outside space.
The property is a low income property so the area that it is in makes sense. It is a very cheap dangerous looking area and the parking was a nightmare. Me and my friend went to apply and maybe see an apartment but when we got there we saw there was only construction and no signs. The man I was emailing that works there, set our appointment but when I called to let him know we were there we got no answer. I called about 3 times since we were lost and eventually we found out from some construction worker that we were supposed to meet at an entirely separate location where they keep their offices. The man I was talking to through email did not let me know that at all and the only address he sent me was where the actual apartments and construction was located. He was extremely unprofessional I do not recommend this place at all.
