Going on 2 years of living here and it is nice if you dont look too close. I took 30 pictures of imperfections when I moved in so they don't try to blame them on me. The valet trash situation is a literal joke, the "notices and fines" do not do anything to stop people from leaving the their 4 bags of trash out. The office leaves aggressive notes warning they'll get fined by the city and "THIS CANNOT HAPPEN!!!!" on people's doors with warnings and nothing ever changes. I've used my patio twice since moving in because the wasps are crazy. We've put in multiple maint. tickets about it and all theyve done is come and spray the nest using the spray I bought? It is very disappointing to pay maintenance and pest control and to have these issues. Do not even get me started on the parking situation...if you're not home by 5:30pm in my building, you can kiss a spot goodbye. There also no gate to get in or out or tags/stickers so literally anyone could park anywhere or have access to your front door. The shared wall neighbors have never been bad but the noise levels are a bit absurd outside the building. Police have been called in the middle of the night. Office response was to send a note about what is "common in shared living spaces". It took over 2 weeks to complete "roof work" on our building alone which we were notified that would only take a few days and their equipment and tools were left everywhere for over a month (taking up more parking spots!) Maintenance has been banging on the walls here all day, no notice. I called the front office becuase I was leaving one morning (around 11AM) and there was vomit on the stairs that had been left. Every morning I pass by the vomit stain but at least we have new mulch! Gym and pool could be much bigger. There is no "community" feel. I could go on but it's what ya pay for I guess. That's the only reason I stay.
The property manager cannot be trusted. She does not take responsibility for her own actions and words. She is comfortable with putting things back on her residents. She doesn’t even try to make things right. At the end of the day all apartment living is the same, it’s proves a roof over your head. Now the research that needs to be done is who is managing my new home. IRT seemed great until now. I know many come here and read reviews before even coming to tour the property. Take this review into deep consideration before you waste your time as long as the current property manager is in place.
Went on a tour the other week with Hailey. She was very personable and knew the answer to every question we asked. The apartments are updated and very clean. Out of all the places we toured this one definitely stands out the most.

After I moved out they charged me for numerous "fees". After I disputed the charges, they sent it to collections. I work for a living and instead of dragging it out I paid the collections company so they would not waste any more of my time. After a few months, the collections company continued to call, even after I already paid! I tried to talk with Veronica to help me since it was her company that employed the collection service, but she never lifted a finger. She will lie to your face and not lift a finger to help. She is a very rude person with no customer service skills. Find another place, there are many choices out there.

I have to give this community one star, zero if it were an option. First off, there are rats all over the complex. There was one dead underneath the stairwell and was left there an entire weekend (Friday-Monday). There was a different management company when I first moved here in 2016, but a new management team came and I’d say to run for the hills because of them. They all have terrible attitudes, from the property manager down to the leasing agents. Whenever you walk into the office, they act as if you are bothering them. The unit itself was nice, but there are always kids running around in the parking lot and dogs without their leash. Trash is a problem. You pay a monthly fee for a compactor that’s across the complex and always full. Therefore, some residents leave loads of trash under the staircase. Walls are paper thin too, I could hear everything my neighbors did. Also, I was charged for six days AFTER my lease was completed and I had already moved out. The reviews are warning you to stay away. Please be advised

I want to start off by saying the apartment itself are nice however the headache i have had to deal with with the management and the maintenance in this place is just completely horrible! My move in experience was absolutely ridiculous, a week before our move in date we switched building because the previous tenants did not want to move out which was fine however the day of our move in at 9 am we got a call from nicole that the carpet was not ready ON THE DAY OF OUR MOVE IN!!!! so we had to wait for them to come install and we were moving in boxing while workers were installing carpet which was very time consuming! Another GREAT problem with these apartment complex is PEST CONTROL!!!! i have been here for a month now and still have not gotten pest control sprayed there are little spider, ants and silver fish that i have to kill and spray on my own because management has yet to take it serious how we have bugs in here and were on the third floor i can just imagine how it would be if we were on the first floor! i have talked to numerous people in the office they have just given me excuses and dates that they will come and a month later I'm still waiting I'm getting to the point where idk who else to turn to but the regional because management (veronica) isn't getting the job done!!!! with all that being said maybe this review will shine some light to the issues that these apartments need fixing in and will improve in the years to come however i highly doubt i will be here when that happens!

These seemed like nice apartments a year ago, but now the price isn't worth it. The police are always here because of issues. My biggest complaint is the office staff. They are getting ruder and ruder. The main one being a new guy that isn't very professional at all. He should watch how he talks to residents. We pay way too much money to be talked down to.
First of all I'd like to say that I am very picky with people and living spaces-I should seriously do apt. reviews for a living as many of them that I've lived in. Nonetheless from the time that I moved here almost a year ago, the staff has been nothing but extremely helpful-Brittany and Ali are to die for (as well as the maintenance team)! I moved in and my apartment was ready from the get go with absolutely no issues. Throughout my lease term I had an incident with maybe a light bulb being out and a pest issue (which was resolved ASAP and no more issues). The apartments are nice and updated and the price is very reasonable. It's a very quiet community in which I haven't encountered any issues not even with people picking up after their pets. The only thing that I would have liked was a parking garage, but the parallel parking is adequate and there's plenty of other parking around your building. I promise to whoever reads this that I am a real person and this is an honest, honest, honest review. I can't write all my experiences here but they've been so awesome that when I received my notice to extend my lease, or give my 60 notice, I was torn on what to do (even with a job way out of McKinney) because I am semi-attached to the leasing personnel-they are awesome! Rent here and you'll have no regrets-at all!
Leasing agent extremely rude and very unprofessional. Being in the customer service industry, you should never lose your cool and start yelling at a tenant no matter what the situation. Unexcusable!

We are sorry to hear that you had this experience. In this case please understand that while our leasing agent had to be firm, we would never yell at a resident or customer. But, it is not our policy to release a delivered package to a non-resident. In this case, the resident had not informed us of someone else coming to get the package. Also, if a person is living in an apartment and we are not aware of it, for the resident's security we still cannot release a package to the non-resident. Can you call our office and let us discuss this further?
The location is great and close to everything you can really want. The area continues to grow and expand so that means more amenities and greater things planned for the area. The office staff are great and the look and feel of the property is nice, clean and up-to-date with all the latest appeals and needs.
Fairly new complex located on corner of Stacy and Custer Rd. which is one of the few intersections on Custer road that has not had a lot on development when we moved in last year. While some construction has start near us since it is still quite. Within a couple minutes drive 121 as well as several different grocery stores. Management Staff has always been very friendly, helpful. Maintenance responds very quickly even on weekends.
I live at Avenues at Craig Ranch in Mckinney, Texas. I have to say I am find of this place, When I first moved in, the first thing I noticed was how up-to-date everything was, The light fixtures, The sleek looking fridge, even the microwave and sink. (I also appreciate having A washer and dryer). My rent is $1,200 per month for two bedrooms, and even though I have hoarded a little, ( Yeah, a little, am I right?) Since my apartment is decently sized, it's still pretty spacious. If you have pets, You're in luck. They allow two, which is cool. But oh man! Outside we have an amazing BBQ pit, in two areas, one by the outskirts towards the back, and one near our POOL! Plus our gym is right there honestly if you just walk two steps you can have both at the same time! I'm seriously happy that the staff around here are pretty down to earth, and if you want, there is a Chili's, Target, Mcdonalds, hair clippers, Sonic, Bank of America, only about a ten minute drive, plus a Chase you can walk to in like 5 minutes from this apartment, and a cvs and Walgreens. So quite honestly, Avenues at Craig Ranch is pretty solid, if you do come here.... Well done
