i move to the complex in july and i haven’t been this excited in so long tina is an amazing leasing agent and i WOULD refer anyone to her looking for an apartment now and in the future . she’s super sweet , funny , works hard and gets her job done. Avery is a beautiful complex and i cannot wait to be apart of the community
This has been one of the worst apartment experiences that I have ever had. I myself am a property manager, my standards are reasonable because I know that not everything is always going to be perfect. However, for nearly a year now, I have been waiting for them to do what should have been done before I arrived. For example: MOLD inside and out each of my vents (mold is considered an emergency, to be handled right away otherwise they/any community run the risk of getting sued), roaches, window leaks, etc. I had to replace my own battery in my spoke alarm at move in because maintenance would not come do it. My husband fixed the broken closet shelf. Still waiting on them to fix the entry gates... Lastly, a foundation inspector, sent by the office, told me that my building is sinking. The office, however, has not said a thing. Unless they can get it together, I definitely would not recommend this place.

new ownership and management who diligently work hard for all its residents and the New upgrade is great!! Only lived here for 13 months but apt was so quite I could not believe it. Carol and Robin are great people to work with and very friendly! Only problem I had was my roomate moved out, so I had to move bummer!! GL with all the New upgrades and thank you again for a wonderful stay!!

This place is great, the people are nice, everything in good shape, Robin is particularly fantastic in her role with the front desk. Location is perfect as far as highway accessible and many places to eat and shop. Nice families in the apartment as well, I made the right choice !!

Spacious living areas. Great pool area with grill. Staff at Avery on top of all issues. Clean property, well maintained. Management plans monthly events for residents. Love living here!

It was a good place to live before city gate took over. We went one month without heating or cooling. We have had almost two months of no disposal (yes kitchen smells) and a dryer that takes 3 times to dry a load. They told us the outside vent needs cleaning but yet they do nothing about it. They have raised the rent. They have plenty of money to build carports which you have to pay extra for but no resources to maintain inside of apartments.

We have trash service that does not always get done. When it is not picked up management wants to fine you. Could have been a letter to warn you of your trash violation, but no....Angela (Property Manager)just issues a fine with no prior incidents on this matter. Then notified me after the fact that I should be notifying the same people that are not picking up our trash. Management has changed several times. Seeing how there are many issues with keeping management in place here,why are they fining residents for a service not being rendered. When there are clearly bigger issues with people not picking up after there own pets...what's being done about that? In conclusion,just feel that there should have been a warning for a violation and repeat offenders be fined.

The parking is horrible. I understand the first come first serve rule but, other vistors took up the spaces that residents would normally be able to park in after they got home from work.

Angela, Neely, and Stephanie are the worst staff I have seen come thru this place! Nothing ever gets fixed, you pretty much need to threaten lawyers to get anything done. This might be a pet friendly place but beware- Neely cant even control her own pitbull when they are out walking (also we are supposed to have breed restriction, her dog is clearly a pitbull and not trained what so ever. So why are we playing favorites now?) You can guarantee to step on dog poop anytime you step on the grass along with getting told theres nothing you can do about it when you complain. Have fun!

I would recommend it because they are nice and affordable. I wouldn't recommend it if they wanted a garage or storage space.

Even after all the issues I would still recommend this property to friends and family. All in all it seems to be a clean and safe area to call home.

There has been so much turnover on this property. Too many things still have to be done and the management team is scrambling to get things done. They are awesome . One of the best teams of 17 since I moved in. But they cant keep people, they are overworked,, take way too long to resovle a problem. Like sprinkelrs haven't worked one time since they took over. They just got gates working. They are trying but needs owners to step up and clean up the place. Thank god weve had rain. You need help here to followup on thoses that do not follow curtesy rules like pick up their dog poop, replace dead bushes, water the grounds, fine thos that throw their cigarette butts all over the ground. (ive reported that multiple times) Check for aggressive dogs. My service dog has been bit by the neighbors two times and a shepahrd once. They need to meet the dogs before allowing them into the property. THese are common occurrences. Stope the people from racing thru the property and turn their music down when they enter. I get awakened regularly because they think their music shout be at concert level when they get home at 1:30 in the morning. ALso there is a motorcycle rider that screeches his bike at all hours of the night going thru thee. These are things that management does not see or hear and really cant do much about. You need a night security contact. I just discovered $1200 missing from my stash for my surgery in my bedroom. SOmeone came in and found it. I have been threatened there once and had a neighbor push his way in once when h was high at 1 am. with a group of thugs. SO yes night security is necessary. That guy has moved out that goodness I get treated with respect by the office girls they are awesome as is the maintenance man. But they need help and your not giving it to them. SO I feel better now vented Benn there going on 4 years .

I would recommend this property mostly due to the current leasing staff, particularly Neely. The apartments themselves were of good quality compared to other properties (wood style flooring/valet trash/washer&dryer/size). The only downsides I noticed were the poorly maintained grounds (mostly due to residents not cleaning up after pets or leaving trash in breezeways outside the time allotted to have it picked up) and noise from other tenants. I also would have preferred the gates to be working and for more visitor parking, but overall would recommend it over other properties where I've leased in the area. Most of the issues I noticed were minor and I did not feel the need to contact the office for them.

When I moved in my apartment, I was told that it was ready. It wasn't. It was a very beautiful, but unready apartment. When I moved in, there were many things wrong, some of the previous renters things were still in the apartment, my bathroom cabinet had a big blue stain inside that I had to clean, some of the wood on the floors had chips in them, beautiful big windows in my room, but no screens, so my pup could easily have fallen out if I ever wanted a nice breeze, the ice maker was broken(none ever came to fix it), my closet and room door knobs were inside out, so someone could lock me in my room or closet lol, the maintenance never came to fix it (my dad fixed it), maintenance never answered when there was an emergency flood in my bathroom, I left a message and they got back to me 2 days later after I had my dad come over and fix it. My ceiling fan only ran on one speed(medium) again they never came to fix it. The apartments come with trash pick up, sometimes they skipped a few days and the tradh outside of my door wouldvget gross. They also tow like crazy! Definantly not a place for someone who loves visitors, there are very few visitors parking spots, 5 of my friends cars were towed($285 to get their cars back), they're very unclear with where visitors should park ("… if it says visitors on the wall and not the floor, you can't park there, it has to say it on the floor too… ". They said. But hey on the bright side, I loved the vaulted-ceiling in the dining area, theres a nice gym, but outdated equipment, there's a computer area in the office which was nice, and a tv room with a pool table, beautiful pool with comfy furniture and a fireplace, the office staff were really nice and helpful, I also loved the convenience with all of the local restaurants and stores near by.

My apartment seemed nice when I moved in but the place wasn't painted nothing was fixed the washer and dryer were not installed. so we had to postpone our move by a wekk. and even after we moved in it still was not ready. now I have been here for like two months and it still isn't ready and its frustrating. even though there is a new manager and staff we will see if it gets done we will see.
