Property Ratings at Avery Point Apartments
Archie is a very knowledgeable guy and loves his job and gets it done right the first time if he can and will let you know if he needs to order any parts

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with us, and have a fantastic day!
Archie and Tony worked together to remove my old water heater and install a new water heater. They were very cautious to work quietly as I work from my home office. They went above and beyond to answer any questions I had. They were sure to clean up after themselves and even checked back in to assure the water remained hot. 5 Star work for sure.

Hi, we are so appreciative to read such a great review about Avery Point Apartments!
Lived here since 2021 and since IRTLiving took over the place has become a slum. Cracks everywhere in the apartment, but office won't spend any money to fix them. A window is without a latch, and "locked" closed by a piece of wood inside of it, and It's been almost a month and a half with no word on it getting fixed besides "We're getting approval from corporate." Floors creaks wildly in the upstairs and stairway, like Scooby Doo haunted house stereotypical creaking, and a month and nine days I was told "We have approval to work on the floor" but nothing since. The front office staff are rude or ignore you, don't expect anyone to pick up the phone after 3:30. The higher tier staff are really nice, but have no authority to do anything. Any question you ask they'll have to ask corporate and they'll come back with "Oh, sorry, it's not in our policy." Corp offices ignore renters Most recently the policy has been changed to "help" renters by no longer allowing paying partial rent, so if you have a roommate one of you'll have to send your half to them so they can pay it in its entirety. This also means you cannot partially pay it throughout the month. Other Maintenance requests are slow to show to be worked on. The maints guys are good people, but the whole place is falling apart and the office doesn't want to cut into profits by hiring more maint staff or do any sort of preventative maintenance besides making the outside of the buildings look halfway decent. Their electronic system will charge you first and ask questions and refund later. Moving from one apartment at the end of your lease to another is in the system a "transfer" so it will automatically charge you the transfer fee of (I believe) $400, which you'll need to bring up with one of the office staff for them to then be confused over, ask each other about, then finally remove from your charges as an "oh sorry, it does it automatically." This is no the only instance of the system just charging you for stuff it thinks you owe. You are required to pay $45 each month for valet trash removal, no matter how close to the open-air dumpsters your apartment is, and no matter if you'd rather do trash yourself. You cannot avoid it, as it's "not policy". The people who pick up the trash will arrive anywhere from 5PM to midnight, or just may not show up at all and skip your apartment. AveryPoint and IRTLiving exist to squeeze every cent out of you while doing the absolute bare minimum to fix anything.
This place is the worst! Do not rent here! maintenance here is a joke!

Hi there, we would like to get some more details about your experience with us and we would like to speak with you about this further, please give us a call at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
I would recommend the apartment community because it's a peaceful clean community with a great location for businesses in the area
If you love living with noise and drugs, this is the perfect place for you. Oh, and every car that comes in and out of the neighborhood playing super loud bass heavy music 24/7. You hear it about every 10 to 15 minutes. Most of the people that live in this neighborhood have zero pride or respect for where they live or for the fact that we all share the area. They treat it like they're own private area with no regard for anyone else around them. Weekends are especially bad. I've been here just 4 months and have have maybe 2 or 3 peaceful days and nights. I've been so sleep deprived that I have had days I cannot function. I have even checked into a hotel twice just to get some temporary relief and get myself together. Not a day goes by that I don't consider just breaking my lease early. Don't put yourself through the hell I've been though.
We have been here since May 2018 and have had nothing but good things to say (other than a couple maintenance issues… any request will take at least 2 weeks to get to… no matter how big or small). However within the past 6 months this place has gone downhill fast. I’ve seen people carrying guns, trash everyone, grease poured out someone’s front door, racing cars through neighborhood and to top it all off our neighbor dumped food over our back fence TWICE. Used to be such a pleasure talking to Tim and John but I never seem to get to them anymore, just new staff that doesn’t seem to care as much.
The apartments are nice the comunity is nice but the rent is pricy for small space.
Trash and dumpster are an eyesore. Over flowing trash regularly.
Be sure everything is there and works before you sign. The staff is nice, but they will not resolve any issues in a timely manner. I still have open work orders from over 2 months ago about missing bedroom and closet doors. You can go to the office personally, email or call and the apologies stays the same or the emails gets ignored with no resolution. I haven't even mentioned a dryer that takes 2 hours to dry a load of laundry and a gate that is rotted, because I don't believe anything will be done about it. Plus, now I've been without a bathroom mirror for over a week that was suppose to be replace. Of course it's out policy to do it yourself, so you're stuck with it. But at least the carpet is nice and the walls are painted. Which is proven by the paint spots on the floor. Plus, having ear plugs to dampen the noise from the thin walls helps. You have a valet trash which is nice, but you will have an additional trash bill a month later. The grounds are nice and a great place for dogs which many people have. However, the money you are spending does not match the quality. Apparently there are more things broken here than fixed.

it is a decent place to live but most people I know would prefer somewhere more updated
Seem really friendly and homey
I’ve lived at Avery Point for the past few years and aside from some routine apartment maintenance issues I’ve been thrilled. The location is super convenient and Tim and the rest of the office staff are always friendly and helpful.

Thank you for your review! So happy to have you here. We love the convienient location as well!!!
The general vicinity of the complex is well-placed, and the grounds are well-kept.
I am very comfortable here. I am sure others would be also.
The experience was organized and professional. The community also seems safe, simple, and welcoming.
I would recommend Avery Point to all my friends for the professionalism, clean community and their prompt attention to any issues that may need to be dealt with. Avery Point is a great and upstanding community to live in.
This apartment community is simply the best!
The community is always kept clean & well maintained. Love living here so far!
I would recommend this complex to a friend because it is quiet. The office staff is always helpful when I have a question. And even though some maintenance request take a minute to fix the wait is never super long and the issue is taken care of on the first call.
Office staff excellent and friendly. Place is beautiful
It's a nice, quiet community in a great location. I love my apartment, maintenance is nice, and there are a variety of floor plans to choose from. I can't speak to specific community amenities, but I know there are plenty, which is nice.
The apartments are nice. A little old and squeaky. Past that it is a fine place to live.
Always have my work order done in a timely manner
I would recommend this community because of the location, the price and the overall quietness of the community. I have met really nice neighbors and the community has been understanding through the pandemic.
Would recommend for location. Would not recommend due to thin walls and hearing neighbor noise.
They are triflin maintenance is lazy and dont wont to work. Old appliances. Just a mess you better RUNNNN

Thank you for taking the time to leave Avery Point a 5 star review!
I would recommend the apartment itself but I would tell people the cons of living here as well
This has unfortunately been the worst customer/resident experience I have ever had. The leasing office does not answer the phone or respond to emails whether it's about my lease or allowing someone into my apartment to release toxic chemicals without my consent as was required. Each of the several times I have visited the office in person the manager has been unavailable and my request has either not been relayed to them or they simply failed to contact me. Every single time. I literally cannot get in touch with anyone that can help me. I tried contacting the management company multiple ways but no luck there either. Besides all of that, this apartment community is priced as much or more than other communities that are nicer and in better locations. I got a decent rate on my unit because it lacked the new updates but otherwise I strongly advise anyone looking here to go elsewhere.

I would recommend this apartment because I have not had many issues and the neighborhood is decent.
Complex is older, and our unit is very drafty as result (bad windows and doors do not seal).
It's a very quiet and safe community from what I have experienced so far.
The overall community and quality of the apartments are nice. However, what lowers my score is the delay and lack of communication concerning maintenue requests, especially ones of great concern.
If all maintence issues were taken care of with this much urgency and timeliness I would live here for the rest of my life!!! Young maintenance man is setting president for how the standard should be held
I love Avery Point! The staff is awesome. Best Maintenance Team EVER!!!!!
The overall community so far is lovely. I'm just disappointed at the lack of communication concerning "Priority" marked maintenance issues - just a simple update or timeline would have been nice. Additionally, I'm disappointed at the rather long list of things I had to send in with my move-in paper that show the apartment was not thoroughly inspected prior to my move-in.
I would recommend this community as it is near to everything. I69, Fishers, etc..
Maintenance could be better. The grounds are usually littered with trash and it takes a while for repairs to get done. Maybe hiring more maintenance people for such a large complex would help
I've already referred someone who signed their lease a few weeks ago. She is moving here in March ??
I had to chase down a real person at my complex to find out the status of my request and when it would be handled. It involved not being able to use my kitchen sink or dishwasher so while not being an "emergency", it was vital to get it fixed quickly.
Location is great, amenities are great, but the walls are very thin.
I would because it was a quick and painless process. The location is excellent with being close to shopping and grocery options but not in the hustle and bustle of it all
The apartment fits our needs, and we pay a reasonable price for the value. I would recommend with some qualifications.
The cost to live on the property is very affordable considering the great location and amenities included. Minor issues with maintenance and work orders being completed timely.
The floor plans are great, and the community is in a really convenient location and overall I've enjoyed living there so far.
Nice quiet community, never heard of any break ins nor robbers
This apartment complex is centered within 1 mile of shopping, hospitals, pharmacy, etc.
Neighborhood is quiet. Everyone is friendly and I feel safe
