Property Ratings at Avignon Apartment Homes
Quiet, elegant, professional quickly responsive KIND staff, amenities which I used to not care about (massage chair, 24/7 facilities, tanning bed, computers, areas to chill far away from staff and other residents in clubhouse if you want change of scenery from home) Did I mention quiet? Granted, second floors the way to go. Pretty sure anytime you’re on bottom floor anywhere you hear the footsteps of those above. But not conversations or smells! Huge plus! Tall ceilings, beautiful extras, I’m in the smallest one bedroom and I have five windows, and my own staircase with a landing large enough for a bookshelf and a bench. Most apartments I’ve lived in were less money but less windows, less light, more smells coming through walls, conversations heard, low ceilings, loud residents who didn’t seem to care their voices carried outside your door in the shared hallway. And maintenance requests that took days to process and repeated efforts when rigging didnt work. Not like that here. Some people complain about there being a larger older population here, probably why it’s so quiet and classy. There are many 30 somethings here as well. Get in on a $ special and spend less money in other areas of your life to have some peace, beauty, and quiet.

Do not rent here!!!! I have had nothing but problems with my furnace and they won’t fix it. If you want to spend hundreds of dollars a month on electric, keeping your thermostat at 60, this is the place for you. If it’s not that, then I turn my thermostat off and the heat runs and runs to the point my apartment is 85 degrees...just think about how much it would cost to run a furnace like that...and still the property won’t fix my furnace. This is the worst place I have ever lived in!
I have lived at Avignon Apartment Homes for about 1.5 years now and have absolutely loved it. No other apartment company has treated me with such utmost initial respect, and they also do a great job following through regarding issues. I truly have nothing but nice things to say and would want to make this a 5 star review before my company transfers me to a different location. This is where I am running into a potential issue. They seem to have associates who read in-between the lines of what the actual lease contract requires regarding the 6mth transfer agreement which is part of the lease agreement. Asking questions that they have seemed to just "add-in" that have absolutely nothing to do with the actual legal requirements of the lease that we both signed. After giving them written notice from my employer, they are still giving me a hard time. I understand trying to retain residents and ensure that they're not trying to violate the lease, which is the opposite of what I'm trying to do. However, asking questions that are not legally apart of the lease, as well as not letting me move forward, even though all required documentation was provided and seemingly checked out. This has made the past week very stressful for me, instead of enjoyable and being able to use my time off to prepare for my move, I'm now having to battle property managers that have a different view of the lease versus what is actually written/signed. Currently awaiting a resolution that will affect how this review is further edited. I truly hope we can part ways on good terms. This scares me to see what else they're going to do regarding me moving out. I truly hope that we can come to a great resolution, since members of my family live at sister properties and I've recommended this place to everyone I know. However, my family will never do business with any Price Brothers managed property in the future, as well as no more personal recommendations from me if they turn this into a legal matter.

This apartment is a beautiful complex located within walking distance of everything in Olathe! Just a few blocks away from JCCC's campus and right across the street from grocery stores, restaurants, shopping centers and more. The apartments have a spacious, luxurious look to them and an abundance of amenities included (for free!)!!!
The apartment has some very nice architectural features. The buildings are well maintained. Great pool and clubhouse, even some activities offered each month to keep folks engaged. Several restaurants and a Whole Foods are within walking distance. Great neighborhood feel and very safe and quiet. I would recommend this place
I live in a 1300 sq ft 2b/2b with 2 car attached garage. This is more like townhouse living. I have no neighbors above or below me. I have 2 common walls with neighbors and seldom hear them. No road noise or traffic concerns. Avignon is a peaceful complex tucked away with great amenities (I especially like the wine cooler that comes in my unit). Walking distance to restaurants and close to shopping, movie theaters, lots of restaurant choices and convenient to I35 access. The only issue I have had is that the washer/dryer units I have are less than desirable for the price I'm paying for rent. they are both worn out and need to be replaced.
I moved to Olathe Kansas just over two year ago from Tucson,AZ. First I lived at Stone Post Ranch in Overland Park,KS. I only lived there for four months. The apartment was small and sowas the kitchen. Since I love to cook the size was a problem. The I moved Avignon Apartments in Olathe,KS and I love it. My apartment is a good size for me with a wonderful kitchen. What I really love about the place is the people are very friendlyg which great. I joined a group of ladies who play Mexican Train on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 PM. I suggested to the ladies that we meet on Thursday afternoon at 1:00PM to play hand and foot. Everyone agreed to the idea and now we play both days. Our group started as small of six women we now have a large group of 14 women. We also go to lunch, throw parties and really enjoy our selves. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to any one as it is a very friendly place to live. The staff are helful as well. Since moved and didn't know anyone this experience has been wonderful.
