Lake Howell is a great residential area with lake views and plenty of rental opportunities. Public schools are abundant in the area, as are parks, shopping, and dining options. Casselberry Commons is a local shopping mall where you’ll find some popular retail stores and chain restaurants. Texas Roadhouse, Starbucks, and Rock & Brews are family-friendly and well-known local spots. Grocery and convenience shopping are all located near Lake Howell, such as Publix and Lowe’s. Property Ratings at Avila
Management has changed 3 times in the course of the year that I have lived here. Ever since Cushman and Wakefield took over, this property has become anything but luxury. They will respond to a negative review posted online but will not contact residents back about any immediate concerns. My apartment has had an emergency maintenance issue for over 5 days now and the maintenance staff literally laughed at me when I asked for assistance. I have contacted the front office multiple times to speak with management and management refuses to call me back. There is a reason so many units are available here.

The maintenance crew is absolutely amazing. Friendly and helpful. They always are quick to respond to requests.

Living at Avila has been a wonderful experience so far. The amenities are truly impressive, with courteous and responsive staff always willing to assist. While package deliveries can occasionally end up at the wrong building due to the shared apartment numbering system, the management team is quick to resolve any issues. The elevators operate smoothly, and the air conditioning keeps the apartments comfortable year-round. What truly stands out, however, is the strong sense of community fostered here, especially through the active online presence. Residents can connect, share experiences, and build lasting connections, making Avila feel like more than just a place to live – it's a vibrant neighborhood. Overall, I'm delighted with my decision to call Avila home and would highly recommend this community to anyone seeking a blend of modern amenities, attentive service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Nice community workers keep the community up. And they always having things for us to do every month.
